Fantastic service from start to finish
5/5

Had quite a few questions before booking the trip, which the nice office staff were very helpful with.
We had a really good driver who was really good at spotting the animals and good food throughout the trips.
Everything seemed professional from start to finish

5 days in nature. Legit slept in a tent 5 meters away from wild buffaloes
5/5

Loved every bit of the trip. Managed to see all big five animals and much more. Wanted to mention that you shouldn’t be afraid to sleep in the campsites because the views are amazing and you get to see wildlife from really close. Everything was organized very well. Mali is the top of all the guides in this region and if you want good food ask for Simba, you will not be disappointed. When booking a shared safari it seems to be hit or miss with the companions you are getting so I think I would take private tour instead if I went to such safari ever again.

Personal, professional and serviceminded
5/5

We had three amazing days with Vision Safari & Tours. Our two guides (Assad and Joseph) were committed to the task and helpful to give us the best experience. We saw different kind of wildlife in Tarangire, Ngorengore and Lake Manyara so that was really exciting. Both guides were sharing knowledge with a smile so that was really nice! Our only feedback to improve was that our second day in Ngorengore the rest of the group were going back all the way to Arusha when we had one more day to safari. For that reason we didn’t had a full day of safari but went back to the accommodation already 1.30 pm. The accommodation was quite simple but had what we needed. The best part was the great food and lovely dinners with other tourists that had been to safari and you could talk about your day and experiences:)

We felt our travel went very smooth and Vision arranged everything with flights, drivers etc. It was perfect and we got value for money with the personal and fast service!

This will be a memory for life and we saw a lot of animals and cool nature. One of the highlights were when we saw a lioness with two cubs for like 15 minutes walking nearby. It felt unique since we were the only safari-jeep there for that moment.

We can gladly recommend Vision for your next safari and for awesome days you will remember for the rest of your life.

Nice experience, but with some negative aspects
3/5

Me and my girlfriend went on a safari with Vision Safari. In general, it went all smooth, the drivers were very nice and we were able to see all animals. The food was good. We were given very good binoculars, branded tshirts and a keychain, which we really appreciated.

There were a couple things which were unexpected:

- You are informed by Vision safari that there might be some people from other agencies in the car, but they don’t inform you that you’re actually one of them, because we were on a car NOT owned nor handled by Vision safari, instead it belonged to a second company, and hosted customers from themselves, vision safari and other agencies.
- Vision safari mentions while booking that they have the best and newest vehicles, however the ones we got did not belong to them as mentioned before, and were about 25 years old with more than 550.000 km on the Odometer. They were not well maintained, the last we got had wet seats in the morning and was leaking water inside all over the safari.
- They advertise that the tent you’ll sleep in has some bed structures, however you’ll sleep on 10 cm mattresses on the ground.
- While you are in the lodge waiting for your car, it’s not really clear what’s gonna happen, when and whit whom. You just wait, sometimes hours.
- The people that were in our car booked the very same safari (Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara) and being them in our very same car, they had the exact same experience. They booked through Serengetisafaritour and spent 700 USD per person, as opposed to us, which booked with Vision safari and spent 850 USD per person. I would then recommend to go with Serengetisafaritour to save 150 USD per person and receive the exact same experience.
- On the website the price was 800 USD, but when we receive the quote they raised the price to 850 USD without informing us beforehand. I did not like that they raised the price, and that they did it without saying it. Furthermore, we requested the safari only, but when they sent us the quote and asked us to formally accept it, they included 2 nights in a hotel/lodge without informing us, and at an additional price not included in the quote. I would recommend you read the offer thoroughly to be sure of what you’re accepting.

We had a fabulous time and got to experience many of Arusha’s attractions in only one day! Our tour guide Enock was amazing and we felt very comfortable all day :)

Very accommodating, however could be more conspicuous in their marketing.
4/5

Due to making our booking at their rather shabby offices in Arusha we were a little sceptical about their authenticity. We need not have worried as they delivered what was promised. Competitively priced and Ngorogoro is a must do and we were driven there professionally. We saw a variety of wildlife close up .Our driver could have been more assertive though, as he tended to focus his attention on three rather brash Italian ladies at the expense of the rest of the group.

Professional, friendly and reliable tour operator
4/5

I booked a 2-day safari with Vision Safari & Tours and was overall happy with the experience. Seamless communication (with Shebbie) ahead of the safari and my impression was that this is a professional, flexible and reliable tour operator. Everything was well organised and we had no issues during the safari. We visited Ngorongoro crater on the first day, which was amazing. The second day we only had few hours in Tarangire as we had to fly back to Zanzibar, and we didn't see as many animals (in Ngorongoro we saw 4 out of the big 5 - no leopard unfortunately). Beautiful park though! Accommodation, breakfast and dinner was good. Like I mentioned in my feedback after the safari, the two lunches could have been better for me as a vegetarian. While the others had rice, chicken and veggies, I was offered only rice and veggies - no alternative source of protein. The only other negative point was that our guide told us to pay a tip of $10 per person per day. He was a good guide and I think everyone would have tipped him anyway, but I felt a bit uneasy to be outright asked for it. Overall though, it was a very memorable experience!

Organised, accurate and delivered exceptional service
5/5

Shebbie @ Vision Safari delivered! We booked 1 day Ngorongoro Crater Tour at short notice (1 day). He organised smooth pickup from Moshi to Karibu Heritage Hotel in Arusha (soft beds!) And collection on the day of the Tour went as planned. Waldo, our driver/guide was excellent! We saw 4 of the big 5 (leopard not in Ng Crater) very quickly and so many other animals and birds - close to 30. Superb Tour. Highly recommend this Tour and Vision Safari as operator. Fantastic !!

Overperformed and great advice and guide
5/5

Shebby helped us very well and gave us a great price. The Tarangire + Ngorongoro safari was spot on and we saw what we wanted to see (Big Five) and even more. Great driver and guide Godson made sure we spotted all. Combination of Tarangiri and Ngorongoro is great because of difference in landscape etc.
Would recommend Vision and guide Godson
