Amazing Family Safari - Magical Memories to Last a Lifetime!
I highly recommend Ways of Africa Travel for your dream African safari! Paul, Janet, and team will take exceptional care of you providing personalized service from the day you inquire about planning a trip until you are safely back at the airport to return home. My family of four, including two teenagers, had an incredible safari experience. Paul went above and beyond, going to the safari camp office in Nairobi twice, to secure a reservation in tents along a hippo filled river in Maasai Mara that I had my heart set on (Mara Bush Camp) - working through corporate blocks, double bookings, and the internet going down. Our guide Dennis was the best! We felt so fortunate to have him. Paul told us he is good at finding the animals - that was an understatement! Every safari drive with Dennis was an exciting new adventure. We saw lots of lions, including discovering two cubs that the rangers didn't even know had been born yet, a cheetah family of 5, two different leopards, the great migration, and everything else we dreamed of. Dennis would plan all our safari outings to maximize our experience - we had bush breakfasts and bush lunches some days. We also really enjoyed learning from Dennis more about Kenya (history, politics, challenges), the Maasai (his tribe), and about all the animals and birds we saw. If I was planning a safari again or a friend asked for suggestions, they would be ... #1 Book with Ways of Africa! They will help you plan the best, personalized safari trip. Also - I am glad we splurged on Mara Bush camp. Everything about staying there exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed having a special camp to enjoy in between safari drives and in the evenings. Maasai Mara is incredible. We spent three nights there and could have stayed longer. We also were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed Lake Nakuru because of the density of animals and seeing white and black rhinos! I always want to squeeze everything in (and we did), but next time I would talk with Paul more about that drive time between parks and consider that in planning, especially the days before the long flights home.

BEST AGENCY FOR SAFARI
We had a very pleasant seven-day journey, took a lot of photos, and successfully saw the African Five Hegemons. Our contact person Paul and driver and tour guide Dennis were very conscientious. We had friends who lost his passports and identity documents on the road. Thanks to Paul's help, my friend Only then did he finally return to China. Our driver and tour guide Dennis was very patient. When I accidentally left my mobile phone in the car, he drove back to give me the mobile phone, which we are very grateful to him. The only improvement was that it took too long on the way to Masai Mara. There was a faster road, but we didn't take it, so we couldn't go to the park that day and didn't go until the next day. Generally speaking, it is a very good experience. In the future, I will recommend more friends to experience the wild beauty from the African continent.

Amazing!
From the beginning of the trip, we met Paul , Janet and Collins at the airport. Paul and Janet were really kind and patient from the time of planning this beautiful trip.
We booked a honeymoon package for 5 days. We were given a private tour with our guide Collins. Collins (Leilashe) was the most cheerful, patient and a warm person. We instantly connected with him.
We visited lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha and Masai Mara with Collins. Collins was a really wonderful spotter and we spotted rare and beautiful birds and animals such as the white rhino during our time. He was like compass himself when it came to finding our way through Masai Mara. He was so patient and kind with us and felt like a brother.
On our last day, Jennifer our guide for Nairobi met with us. We visited the giraffe center and the national museum. Jennifer is awesome, we had such a great time and such great conversations with her. She too instantly connected with us and not one moment of the last day felt tiring or boring!
Ways of Africa team, though young has such wonderful options from budget, midrange to luxury and every moment was truly worth it.
My husband and I today feel that we have a family to visit back in Kenya. Kenya has made us feel home and the people and food is just amazing.

Very nice and friendly
It was an amazing and wonderful experience. Everything went great and we loved it. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it.

They were prompt, patient and knowledgeable about the entire itinerary.
WOA is the best way to plan your travel. As a Safari novice, and planning a surprise trip for my fiancé who is a safari connoisseur, I was extremely happy with the way Paul helped me plan the trip. From keeping the trip customized to all my needs, to making great recommendations about the day to day activities so we don’t miss anything without getting overwhelmed - Paul was great! Now that I have been to Africa and seen places first hand, I appreciate the itinerary even more! And the guide/ driver, Dan, was the best part of our entire trip. He was kind, funny and just as engaged in sighting animals at the forest as us.
Already recommended WOA and Dan to friends!

A boutique agency, highly professional and reliable with great customer orientation
I 've been in contact with Paul since january 2024 to discuss and prepare together our August 2024 trip.
We were a family Group of 15 people from 5 to 85 years old (2 granparents and 7 kids!!) with different needs and ambitions. A great challange!
Ways of Africa has always been able to provide flexibility, suggesting the appropriate solutions with an approach "a la carte" that a big agency will have never been able to offer, and furthermore at a great value for money. We have been able to include wihtin their starting package 1) an amazing ad hoc biking safary at Hell's gate in Naivasha (The lion's King setting!!!) 2) along with an astonishing extralong lake trip on pirogas during sunset 3) and a visit to a local Masai school close to Masai Mara conservatory. A real and constructive experiece for all. Accomodation always top, drivers of excellent quality both in road and off road. And specifically great hunters during our game drives: in 5 days we did not miss anything: rhynos & hyppo with baby, baby lions, elefants, chitas after hunting, lions in love, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, fisher eagles while fishing... maybe leopards, always hidden on trees!!
Very high level of assistance and care and good connections in the country. They helped us retreiveing our luggage lost at the arrival, on time to leave for the safary. They provided during our staying in Nairobi with the greatest and pleasent guide in town: Jennifer! I encourage Ways of Africa to keep working in this way, further improving its closeness with clients (not always easy to exchange by phone from europe...) always striving to install the highest culture of listening and respect in all the people they recruite.

Very helpful and extremely courteous
We booked our safari with Paul to visit Tsavo East and Taitia Hills staying at Saltlick for the duration. Our ranger for the trip was Saeed.
Booking the trip was seamless from start to finish. Paul met us at our hotel and throughly explained the trip and accommodation.
Saeed picked us up on time and was so knowledgeable, polite and patient when showing us the wildlife. This was our second trip with our daughters, the first via Paul and I have to say, that this trip exceeded all of our expectations!
Paul and Saeed went above and beyond to show us plenty of wildlife, even adding in an extra day at no expense because unfortunately on day 2 in Taita Hills, the animals were hiding !
So it was decided an extra day would be given at Tsavo and it was incredible !
Saltlick accommodation and restaurant food was out of this world and again we were blown away by the setting of this lodge
Thank you Paul and Saeed for giving myself and my family a trip of a lifetime !
We’ll most definitely meet again ….

Both Jackie and Kennedy have done an excellent job in tailoring the trip to our preferences.
The experience in Kenya was truly extraordinary. We spent an unforgettable week exploring the wild beauty on safari, and the rest of the time we enjoyed it at the paradisiacal Diani Beach. The safari was an amazing experience, especially in Ambosseri, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara, which stood out for their astonishing diversity of fauna and landscapes.
It's important to be prepared to cover long distances by car, both to move between parks and to enjoy intense days of safari. Each day promised a new and exciting adventure.
The camps where we stayed were quite good, but the one that impressed us the most was the one at Lake Nakuru. The only one that didn't quite convince us was the one at Lake Naivasha.
Although the last days at the beach are not strictly necessary, they added a special touch to a unique experience, turning these vacations into an unforgettable memory.
