Super
5/5

Thank you for the amazing safari experience! We had such a fantastic time, and my family truly enjoyed every moment. The experience of seeing wildlife up close was unforgettable. Everything was well organized, and we appreciate all the effort that went into making it such a smooth and memorable trip.
Your tour guides were excellent!

The review below is the personal opinion of Manon and not that of SafariBookings.
Great views and animals, challenging logistics
3/5

I booked a group joining safari with Beast Spoor. I was with 7 other several travellers who booked through different agencies. The driver guide was employed by another agency (Axis) too. Although communication upfront with Beast Spoor was good and swift I was not aware of the above.
As the organising agency and the driver were not from Beast Spoor it is difficult to pinpoint whos fault it was when things went wrong (drop off in wrong hotel, driver not fully aware of everything in my package). Logistics was a challenge and waist of time as the group was staying in 3 different lodges througout the trip (3x drop offs and 3x pickups every day). Also this was not communicated to me before.

Having said all this, Beast Spoor did their best to ensure i had a good trip. My advise would be to book a private trip with them not a group joining trip.

Great, everything was taken care of
5/5

Reliable, friendly and approachable. Safari was as described in pamphlet, everyone was competent and professional. Our guide Stanley was knowledgeable and communicative. We had so much fun, even saw a lioness hunting action.

Our guide, Papa always made sure we are happy and enjoying the trip, finding the best spots for us!
5/5

Beayt spoor safari had the most caring staffs and customer service, they made sure every day if I enjoy the safari, very flexible with pick ups and drop offs.
The guide, Papa was also amazing, he worked hard to make us seeing as many animales as many we can, alsways found the good posts for us, when there were more cars around, we have seen the big 5, and many other species.
During the trip he always asked if we are happy, made sure everything is going well.
The accomodations and food was very good and even excellent ( for example Manjaro tented camp, its your place if you want to see and hear animales around you during the day and night, they have a big fenced area where you can take walks) all at some places.
I gladly can recommend them for anybody who is looking for an amazing and well organized safari experience for very affordable price, even for solo women travellers!

Competitive budget prices but some money trouble
4/5

We did the budget safari 12d Kenya + Tanzania. Good value for money. Better accommodation than we expected.

Good communication before, during and after booking via WhatsApp. Good communications during the safari until there was money trouble, then harder to reach which was stressful. Make sure to get multiple numbers where you can reach them. Pesapal for deposit payment when booking worked very well.

As for reliability.. We suffered some money trouble. When we were already on our long journey to Kenya we received wishes about paying in cash which is a ridiculous amount of money. This because our tour started on a Sunday which caused some problem with banks, but they knew this for 6 months in advance. We ended up having to go extra to an ATM with them to take out as much cash as possible and pay the rest by card like we were supposed to.

Yet the worst part was that they had trouble transferring our money to the tour operator they cooperated with on the Tanzania side, and no one informed us about this until one day before heading to Serengeti the guide tells us we can't come because the money hasn't come to them. They wanted to leave us there and I had to try to mediate the communication between the companies who didn't seem to have good relations at all. Horrible stressful experience where we ended up taking a chance and desperately paying for the rest of the safari AGAIN by ourselves directly to the Tanzania tour operator. In the end the money ended up where it should and we got a refund from the Tanzania tour operator so we didn't have to pay anything extra. Allegedly this was all due to a public holiday and some kind of global transfer issues, but at least the holiday they should have planned for and done the money transfer in good time.

In general; beware of the nature of the joining safari (not special for this company), we didn't understand this before we went. Especially if you travel solo this can be good to know. It means that both the group, guide and vehicle can change everyday of the safari. The itinerary can change anytime and you rarely stay at the accommodation that you are promised in your quote. You have to be very Hakuna Matata about it.

We ended up having only one guide in each country but this seemed rare amongst the others we met (our group changed multiple times and we often stayed at different camps). We were satisfied with both Charles K in Kenya and Tony in Tanzania!

As for the tour; if I were to prioritize I would pick the following national parks: Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Amboseli, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. I would skip lake naivasha and lake manyara. If only one country I would pick Kenya and go for the three first mentioned ones!

I can recommend booking with Beast Spoor Safaris as I have faith they will learn from our money trouble and not let it happen again. However if I did it again I would book the Kenya side with them and separately book the Tanzania side with a Tanzania based tour operator.

Very reliable and competent tour operator
5/5

First of all, finding such a safari for this price is nearly impossible
In 10 days I saw the most important National Parks in Kenya and Tanzania, plus we learned about the culture of the Massai.
Beastspoor Safari acted as a very reliable agency which you could immediately tell when problems arise. This was especially important for me, as it was my first time in Africa and having a tour operator I trust was of highest importance for me.

All in all, thanks a lot for the amazing experience Beastspoor Safari.!
