Reliable even in upredictable situations, that is... Across Horizon Safaris.
Across Horizon Safaris is one of the best Safari organisers in Nairobi and Kenya. They make everything possible according to your wishes. The guide, Ronny, knew the names of all animals we saw in the Amboseli national parc. Helped us look for the Big Five. Was always 5 minutes ahead of time. Always punctual. The company managed to get the best of all situations. Even the day we missed ou train and they drove us hours and hours through the savanna to get us in Mombasa on time. Reliable quality even in upredictable situations, that is... Across Horizon Safaris.

Martin is a great tour guide, recommended to book with Across Horizon.
Martin was my tour guide for the first 3 days, he did a really good job. Helping to find the animals, especially the rare once. Explaining us a lot about the wildlife, very communicative on the radio. It was a blessing to have him as a guide. Although after the 3 days I had to change to another car with Richard, he was less assertive and a lot on his phone and we definitely saw less animals. That’s why I give 4 stars instead of 5. The accommodations were good, always enough & good food available, the lunch boxes got prepared well and the pancakes in the Nyati lodge were a +++
We had some issues on our trip because of the missing communication to our driver from different agencies. Our driver was about to bring me to another hotel. In Nakuru we had to go out of the park and lost half an hour to pick up 2 ladies from another agency. Communication is key.

Julia was the perfect safari planner and Kenyan host from our very first interaction. She listened to my requirements and then shaped a bespoke safari that was ideally suited to us. Julia met us on the first day of the tour and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the trip. She'd spoken to the hotels and guides in advance, so that everything ran smoothly. She even checked in during the safari to be sure we didn't need anything. On our return to Nairobi, she met us and arranged for us to get back to the airport. The accommodations she chose were spot on. The Enkorok camp was especially nice. The staff were superb and we even had a spa. Overall the trip was excellent value and we'll enjoy the memories for many years to come. Thanks Julia, I wholeheartedly recommend you!

Our unforgettable tour of Masaai Mara
It was an excellent tour that my daughter and I will remember forever. The price of the tour was affordable and we were given a first class treatment.
The operator ensured that we were under a competent , professional, responsible, careful and knowledgeable driver, whose knowledge of the wildlife and of the strategic viewpoints was immeasurable. The food was delicious , with natural spices that brought out the true flavours of the ingredients and thus pleasurable to eat . The rooms were impeccably clean and we loved our bed. The bathroom was clean and the warm shower was an added advantage after an exciting day in the wild.
The experience in the park was exhilarating as we saw different wild animals so closely. I would recommend this operator and her crew to anyone. Thank you so much across horizons safaris.

Very nice
I liked how our guide James was always calm and didn't play loud music. But when we returned to Nairobi, we had a difficult time because our vehicle suddenly changed from a Land Cruiser to a van. It changed so suddenly that I didn't even have time to tip the guide.

Extremely helpful and affordable.
Very helpful and flexible, we got a customized tour according to our wishes. We got great value for our money, and everyone spoke perfect English. Across Horizon Safaris did an excellent job with both accommodation and guiding. We experienced so much in 4 days, including a hot air balloon ride in Masai Mara and seeing rhinos in Lake Nakuru. All of this for an incredibly affordable price. I recommend bringing US dollars as it makes extra experiences cheaper, such as visiting a Masai village and the hippo area.

We recently embarked on a 4-day safari with Across Horizon Safari (AHS), and overall, the experience was unforgettable. As students, budget constraints were a significant concern for us, but the company offered an exceptionally reasonable price that allowed us to fully enjoy the stunning landscapes and wildlife of Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru.
From the start, the trip was filled with breathtaking moments. We witnessed the incredible diversity of wildlife in Maasai Mara and the serene beauty of Lake Nakuru. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, providing us with insightful information about the animals and the environment. The accommodations were comfortable and exceeded our expectations, especially considering the cost.
One of the standout aspects of this provider is their flexibility. They were very accommodating to our needs and requests, making adjustments wherever possible to enhance our experience. If you have any questions or special requests, we highly recommend talking to them—they are more than willing to tailor the safari to meet your needs.
However, there were a few logistical issues along the way. We faced some hiccups with pickups, payments, and the itinerary, which required us to be flexible and patient. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall experience was worth it. The team did their best to address our concerns, and their efforts were appreciated. Noticeably this resulted in ous getting a private Safari, consisting of only our group. (This improved our experience immensely)
For those who are price-sensitive and open-minded, AHS is a fantastic option. The value for money is impressive, and the unique experiences offered make it a trip to remember. We highly recommend them for anyone looking to explore Kenya's natural wonders on a budget.
