Unforgettable Masai Mara Adventure: A Journey Through Stunning Wildlife
Embarking on an 8-day journey with Africa Barefoot Safari to Masai Mara was truly an experience of a lifetime. From start to finish, the trip was beautifully managed, ensuring every detail was taken care of seamlessly. Our guide, Patrick, was nothing short of amazing. His extensive knowledge of the wildlife and the Masai Mara ecosystem enriched our experience immensely. Thanks to Patrick, we had the incredible opportunity to witness some of nature's most majestic spectacles: observed multiple lion prides, including a thrilling moment of a lion eating its kill; giraffes against the horizon, a breathtaking sight that felt like a scene from a movie; leopards and cheetahs in their natural habitat; and close encounters with zebras and elephants. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, providing perfect immersion in nature. Each day was highly customizable, allowing us to tailor our activities to our interests and pace. Whether it was an early morning game drive or a relaxed afternoon by the camp, every moment was crafted to perfection. Africa Barefoot Safari delivered an unforgettable adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and enriching wildlife experience. The combination of expert guidance, stunning wildlife sightings, and authentic accommodation made this trip truly exceptional.
Amazing trip
I recently had an incredible 3-night trip to the Masai Mara in Kenya, organized by Prajwal. The experience was truly unforgettable. We had wonderful sightings of a variety of animals, and our guide, Patrick, was good. He was not only knowledgeable about the wildlife but also patient, ensuring we had the best possible experience. The entire trip was well-organized and seamless. Highly recommend Prajwal for anyone planning a safari adventure!

Amazing operator, we definitely come back.
This is my first African trip. We came across Africa Barefoot Safaris on the website and talked with Prajwal. Prajwal, she is the best. She helped me plan my trip and adjust according to my request. She suggested the best camping for us, and it turned out fantastic. She knows our budget and keeps it in the budget.
After we decided to go with Africa Barefoot Safaris, Prajwal always keeps in contact to help us pack for the trip which is very important since this is our first safaris.
Once we stepped into the camp, it was indescribable. The view, the facility, the staff are all amazing. Especially the food, it was delicious (Even I am a picky eater.)
Moreover, we need to transport from one camp to another camp, Prajwal helps us provide the good transportation with best price. We met Patrick. Patrick is the guide of Africa Barefoot Safaris. He gives us the best knowledge and helps us to get the best picture we need along the ride.

A Kenyan Safari Beyond Expectations
Our Kenyan safari, meticulously planned by Africa Barefoot Safaris, surpassed all expectations. From the initial contact with Prajwal, she patiently crafted a customized itinerary to suit our preferences and budget; we knew we were in good hands.
Our guide, Patrick, was an invaluable asset. His profound knowledge of Kenya's wildlife, culture, and history was truly impressive. His passion for sharing his expertise was evident in every interaction, making our journey even more enriching. His dedication to guest satisfaction was unparalleled, ensuring we felt comfortable and cared for throughout our adventure.
The dedicated safari vehicle was perfect for our group, providing ample space and comfort while allowing for optimal wildlife viewing. The accommodations selected by Prajwal were exceptional, offering a blend of luxury and authentic experiences.
The wildlife encounters were nothing short of spectacular. The vast plains of Amboseli offered breathtaking encounters with majestic elephants, while the Masai Mara provided thrilling opportunities to witness the drama of the savanna unfold, including prides of lions, elusive leopards, and playful cheetahs. From witnessing majestic elephant herds in Amboseli to the thrill of spotting elusive leopards in the Masai Mara, every game drive was an adventure. We were fortunate to see a diverse array of animals, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and countless bird species. Patrick's skill in positioning the vehicle for photography resulted in breathtaking images.
Our experiences extended beyond wildlife viewing. In Nairobi, a visit to the elephant orphanage was heartwarming, and feeding giraffes was an unforgettable encounter. Taking the plane from Amboseli to Masai Mara offered a unique perspective of the vast savanna.
Naboisho Conservancy was a highlight. The night safari there was an exhilarating experience, allowing us to witness nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat. The clear night skies provided an exceptional opportunity for astrophotography. And the thrill of camping under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush while protected by Masai warriors, was an adventure of a lifetime.
We cannot thank Prajwal and Patrick at Africa Barefoot Safaris enough for curating such an extraordinary journey. It was an experience we will cherish forever.

Perfect East Africa Safari Expert : My 28th time in Masai Mara
This is Varun Aditya, an award winning Wildlife Photographer from India. I’m quite known for travelling often to Kenya and Tanzania if you’ve seen my pictures on Instagram.
I just came back home from my 28th trip in Masai Mara. This is my 3rd time using Africa Barefoot Safaris inside Masai Mara and also 3 North Kenyan reserves.
As a professional Wildlife Photographer, all we need is proper expert opinion on choosing the right location, right time and most importantly the animal movements.
The founder Ms. Prajwal Shetty, with her widespread contacts of expert Maasai driver guides in Mara, she never hesitates to update on specific animal movements happening around that shouldn’t be missed. This time I could nail some great shots of cheetah and 4 cubs because of Africa Barefoot safari’s strategic choice of my stay. I could spot them as the first thing, early in the morning right outside my camp. Thanks for your expertise.
They could get me the best deal at one of the top most properties in Masai Mara and Samburu (Buffalo springs). This was my 28th trip and I still couldn’t manage such discount in Masai Mara but these guys managed to get me.
Their 8 years of travel experience in Kenya as volunteers and conservationists was clearly seen.
And guys ! Do you need super private experience in the land of Lions ? With no one around you, Just you, your guide and some huge lions around ? You shouldn’t miss Naboisho conservancy and Lemek conservancy.
They really know in and out of that place.
I followed and photographed a lion pride all alone for 4 nights.

From the moment I decided to have a safari adventure, Praj at Africa barefoot safari was there to help and guide me with every aspect of planning my trip. She was quick to reply and ensure it was exactly what I wanted. She has a clear passion in ensuring her guests get the best experience. Being a solo traveller it was lovely to know that there would be a friendly face at the airport and Patric was certainly that, he immediately put me at ease and so very friendly and helpful. His knowledge is amazing and he has a clear passion and love for guiding, he is eager to share knowledge for all the animals from the smaller sightings to the big 5. I’m still in awe of how he knew his way so well around the Masai Mara! My biggest bit of advice is if you are thinking of booking a safari go with Africa Barefoot Safari you won’t be disappointed. Also if you’re visiting kenya Eagle View hotel at Naboisho is a must the scene and views are like something out do a movie.
