Great safari as always
This is the second time I have gone on a safari with Splendid Vacations. Alice handled all the arrangements, and just like last year, everything worked like clockwork. We were met at the airport, and our safari began the following morning.
Our guide, Alex, is the best guide I have ever met. I am a photographer, and Alex knows the best angles for photographing animals based on their position and the lighting conditions. He was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the trip.
I can’t wait for next year’s safari. Thank you!

A very efficient, friendly, comfortable and perfect journey
The four of us went to the African-Kantan Ring Road for 10 days this time. For some reason, it was a temporary idea, so the plane took off on the 11th and did not start looking for a group on safari booking until the 4th.
Because of the tight time, the Splendid Vacation we were looking for replied to me by email soon after my consultation. I added their WeChat at 4 o'clock local time in Kenya, and they gave me a very detailed and exquisite quotation at 9 local time in Kenya. It's so fast that I'm very shocked.
Our trip went well. The hotels were also clean, beautiful and comfortable. The speed of booking hotels by the ground pick-up agency was also very fast. Later, they upgraded our accommodation. I am very grateful to them. These hotels are so beautiful that I have found a sense of leisure.
In addition, the guide Gabriel is very friendly, patient and has good eyesight. The second guide, Jackson, is a guide with about ten years of experience. He is very careful about finding animals. He communicated with us very smoothly and friendly, and also took us to find two leopards who only sleep in trees. They gave me a very Perfect experience.
In general, I am very grateful to the Splendid Vacation. On the one hand, their quotation is very fast, the hotel they stay in is also very good, and the proportion of deposit payment has also been reduced a lot. We use WeChat to communicate, which is very efficient.

Well coordinated and knowledgeable.
We just finished the second half of our safari - Tanzania side (after Nairobi).
The only complaint I have is that we didn’t plan for longer in the Serengeti. The camp (Mawe - out in the wild!) was absolutely our favourite, so much that we came back an hour early one day just to enjoy it. The tour guide (Tony) was amazing. He was thoughtful, flexible and SO knowledgeable. He was very patient and respectful of the park and the animals while finding spots to get up close and personal with many of the big ones. We saw animals we weren’t even expecting thanks to Tony’s keen eye; then he was able to tell us all about their behaviour. Vehicle was awesome and we were always well fed even on the move. A trip of a lifetime! Thank you, TONY, and thank you Splendid. Absolutely lived up to your fantastic reputation.

A splendid vacation indeed
Splendid Vacations - exact words to describe our 7 day trip.
From the moment we started planing with James, our arrival in Nairobi and the warm welcome and amazing tours by Alex across Kenya and finally Tanzania with Tony, we couldn’t have picked a better company to take care of the details.
Alex was able to spot ALL the animals, find spots with very little cars and hidden wildlife for the best pictures! He was always punctual, made sure that get to places just at the right time. We managed to see ALL the animals we were hoping to see by lake Nakuru and in the Mara.
The second portion of the trip across Serengeti and Ngorongoro, we had a chance to have another incredible guide who made sure our amazing experience continues. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to spot animals in places we would never even think to look. He was always on time, made sure he kept us on schedule and shared the knowledge of Tanzania, animals and things way beyond our expectations.
Finally, James. He was patient, attentive and made sure we felt like the only clients throughout the planning process and during the trip. James ensured our trip went smooth and even with a couple of small hiccups along the way, he managed to resolve everything in the best way possible.
All in all, we couldn’t have found a better tour company to take care of us for this once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent communication, expert guide and an unforgettable safari
We had an excellent experience with Splendid Vacations on our 2-day safari in Kenya. The tour was very well organised from start to finish, and communication before and during the trip was prompt, clear and reliable.
Our guide, Rono, was outstanding. He had exceptional knowledge of the area, wildlife and local conditions, and was always willing to accommodate our requests to maximise what we could see during our stay. Thanks to Rono's expertise, we were fortunate enough to see the Big Five in a single day, which exceeded our expectations.

Great stay recommendations and guides
Splendid vacations was a great company to book our tour with. They were very responsive from the start and took note of every detail and requirements. The stays they proposed were of high quality and had great overall location to maximize time in the park. The guides they provided were friendly and helpful and had great eye to spot wildlife which resulted in us having great game drives all throughout the trip.
James and Eddie were great in both legs of our trip in Kenya and Tanzania.

Great service all round
We started booking our holiday over 6 months before travelling and decided to employ Splendid Vacations.
We wanted a 4 day Safari of the Masai Mara followed by a 4 day Safari of the Serengeti with a few days break in between. Sammy was brilliant from start to finish, working with us to nail down our exact requirements and the price breakdown was transparent with no hidden surprises.
All communication was clear and dealt with promptly.
The safaris were amazing, with the guides offering a huge range of knowledge. Julius was a stand out guide, he was outstanding in working hard to locate the best sightings, very courteous and helpful.
Overall, a really great experience.
