Experienced. Knowledgeable. Interested in giving us a full safari experience.
Highly recommend Moses knowledgeable, experienced. He accommodated our needs, to take pictures. He also offered alternatives. The camping site was a bit roughing it but adequate. Electricity off at 10 pm then up before 6am most days. Toilet breaks provided.Worth it! We did and saw all we desired!

Mixed experience - really depends on your guide
I have to give a bit of a mixed review. I was on a group 4-day safari in Maasai Mara and Nakuru, which I booked specifically because it had good reviews.
For the first half of the trip, I had an amazing experience. My guide was Sir Charles and he gave us a lot of information about what we were seeing, scouted out where animals may be, and tried to get us the best views of everything. I think you really couldn't ask for more in a guide and the park itself really exceeded my expectations. I think we saw pretty much everything except a leopard and I had a lot of fun as well.
After Maasai Mara, I was the only one from the group not going back to Nairobi, so I was passed to another guide for the end of my trip in Nakuru. The other guide (Andrew) unfortunately did not seem to care much. He didn't give us any information and when we asked questions, only gave one-word answers. He was not looking for animals. If we wanted to see something, we had to spot it ourselves and then yell for him to stop. He also did not have water, which was supposed to be provided. He generally seemed to not care about our experience and the entire group was pretty upset. Still very cool to see rhinos and such, but it put a bit of a damper on the experience.
Overall, I think your experience really depends a lot on your guide, and it seems you have no control over this. I guess all these small companies are beneath one larger umbrella company and they pass customers around from vehicle to vehicle based on where each car is going. Overall, Maasai Mara is amazing, but I wish there was a bit more transparency about what we booked and who we would be with.

Couldn’t have asked for better!
First of all it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Seeing so many beautiful animals ranging from all the big 5, too small amazing birds. All the accommodations we chose were superb with mostly great food and service! Special mention to Papa/John our guide, couldn’t have asked for a better guide… was always on time, super passionate about animals (always answered and told us much information) and most importantly it just felt like a friend was driving us around😁 could talk to him about anything, super guy. Overall would highly recommend Jungle Roam Safaris (you’re even luckier if you get Papa as your guide) was a really good experience which we won’t forget and will definitely be back.

Splendid safari experience with good luck
I have to say the whole tour was splendid and unforgettable. We were so lucky to see the lions successfully hunted the wild beast and impalas, the lions in masa Mara are definitely more comfortable than those in Amboseli, there were just too many targets for them to feed themselves. Our driver Albert was so skillful and hat excellent instincts to predict the next move of animals, so that we could always find a good spot to catch the breathtaking moments. We even took the photo with giant elephant in the background of Kilimanjaro, just before the elephant start to kick our ass. Albert and Erik also explained a lot of interesting things about the animals and kenya, which are quite helpful for me. All in all, I enjoy the whole trip and will recommend to everyone, who wants to experience this wonderful country.

Excellent Adventure! Eagle eye, careful, patient and explain lots of details! Thank you Albert !!
It’s definitely a unforgettable trip in my life. Most of activities are all included in fee and all hotels are high valuable with delicious foods.
We saw three times of lion hunting successfully and couple of times unsuccessful. Tour guide could always find leopard, cheetah, lions eating the food. We saw single lion hunting, group hunting and while eating sometimes they eat in hierarchy, they go one by one. Sometimes they just eat together.
We also saw hyena group waiting for food but onetime hyena also eat with lion together.
Those things are up to luck they always told us so, but if we could always catch the moments then it must be the experience.
Appreciate our tour guide and will recommend to all of my friends.
