Better than anything I'd imagined
With all the tour operators out there, it's hard to choose. If I had any advice, go with Jungleroam Safari for any safari and ask for Steve (or simpleboy) as your driver, you won't be disappointed!
Value for money couldn't be better.
I spent 3 days in Masai Mara, including 2 days in the park. Our driver took us to the right place at the right time. We were able to see as many animals as possible, it was magnificent. Steve was great, sociable, interesting and attentive to our needs.
Nothing to say about the driving.
For accommodation, I stayed at Lenchada camp, which I recommend. Nice little camp in the middle of nature. Just the right level of comfort. Very pleasant, attentive staff. The food was simple and good, accessible to all, with some Kenyan discoveries! Campfire in the evening to share (or not) moments with other adventurers.
On the way back, I chose to visit the Masai village. I don't understand people's opinions on this subject. Yes, it's all programmed, the welcome, the dances, the jumps etc... But I took it as a desire to share their traditional way of life. It was beautiful and interesting.
And yes, during your stay you'll be able to buy Masai objects. As soon as there's tourism, there's business, it's normal everyone does the same, how can you blame them. If you're not interested, you just don't buy.

Caleb is the best, he knows the trail like back of his hand
Our tour guide Caleb is the best, he went way out his way to get everyone the best view. Guy knows his stuff for sure, really enjoyed everything during the trip. Only complain is the masai village visit, feels like a scam. But that's just me, keep your guards up when you're there

Very good, professional, excellent, I'm super satisfied.
Thank you very much for the arrangement of the travel agency. The meals and accommodation exceeded my expectations, and I am very satisfied. Especially the tour guide driver Johnny Jackson, Johnny took care of our emotions and feelings, took us to see the super beautiful scenery, sunrise and sunset, and took us to find the animals we wanted to see and meet our requirements. Thank you very much, Johnny. I will never forget the journey these days. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

meets my expectation of a value for money package
-Itinerary.
The itineraries arranged for my 5 days budget safari package was perfectly arranged and executed. Not tight and rushing nor too much free time and idling. There will be mix of travellers with different itineraries and slight change of schedule (days and timings) but eventually you will get to experiece all stated on your itinerary. I noticed some idling for one of the traveller in our ride as some activities was not on their selected package. However you can still add on if you want during the rides. Mostly just entrance fee.
-Safari
The experience of safari ride is mostly dependent on 2 factors, guide experience and jeep condition. Make sure you request for open roof access from your seat if you prefer watch mostly from the top, if not you might just watch from the side window. You can actually check your seat before the final payment at the office for the balance and try sort out any difference of promised vs expectation before the ride. Get clear info during booking what you can or cant do in the vehicle. Eg. No stepping on car seat with dirty footwear.
-Guide
My assigned guide Caleb was a very seasoned and experienced guide. He managed to get hint of wild animal locations through walkie talkies and zip through the masai maara savanna short cut trails, sometimes even ahead of forest rangers for good pics and sightings. A good guide makes a whole difference on your experience. He was warm, gentle, informative and flexible and strict to keep order. Caleb was a very highly recommended guide. Do drop a good tips if you good guide.
A good guide makes a whole difference on your experience. Remember they don't have full control on schedule or accommodation changes by the operator.
-Accommodation
The accommodation was good. Make sure you get black and white agreement on procedures on room unavailability. Eg how refund, cancelled by hotel, etc. Especially if you book luxury with direct wildlife view through windows. You might want to have some control what if cancelled by hotels and refund policy.
This was my first safari experience.
I wouldn't mind booking with them again but will check my seat and accomodation ratings before booking again in future.

Unforgettable Safari with Papa and JungleRoam Safari
I recently had an incredible three-day, two-night safari experience at Masai Mara National Park with JungleRoam Safari. From the moment I landed at Nairobi Airport, everything was seamlessly arranged. A driver met me upon arrival, assisted with getting me to a fee-free ATM and SIM card for data and mpesa, then took me directly to our Toyota Land Cruiser, which was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for the adventure ahead.
One of the highlights of the trip was our driver and guide, John—who goes by his safari name, Papa. He was not only an excellent driver but also a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. He made the entire journey both educational and fun, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Even on our very first drive into the Maasai Mara, Papa led us directly to four of the Big Five animals. We saw a lion family, including lionesses and playful cubs, elephants moving together with their families, giraffes with small calves following behind, and hippos bathing in a river. It was an unforgettable introduction to the incredible wildlife of the park.
I stayed at Jamba Mara Lodge, a stunning accommodation with expansive views of the surrounding nature. The lodge was well-appointed, with comfortable rooms and an on-site swimming pool—a perfect place to relax after a day of wildlife viewing.
Overall, JungleRoam Safari exceeded my expectations. The organization was flawless, the accommodations were fantastic, and Papa’s expertise made the experience truly special. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a well-planned and exciting safari in Kenya!

Fabulous!
We did our first safari in Kenya and chose JungleRoam Safari. It was a great experience: the agency responded well to our questions when choosing the trip and allowed us to have a tailor-made safari. They also offered attractive prices.
The safari itself went very smoothly. Our driver, Steve, was attentive to our expectations and made every effort to ensure we had an amazing experience. The itinerary included Amboseli and Tsavo West: stunning landscapes and magnificent animals in their natural habitats. The accommodations were also of high quality, as were the meals.
The safari ended with a surprise leopard that Steve had anticipated in Tsavo!
Thank you for everything!
