The best safari in our lives
Our six-day safari tour has come to an end today. And we can finally share the exciting experiences of the trip with our guide Joshua. We started from Nairobi and visited the Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli. The jeep was comfortable and well stocked. we always had cool water and chargers available to us. we travelled with a 3 year old and i can definitely recommend repeating this experience. The campsites were of good quality for a budget tour, the food was always varied and fresh. our guide Joshua showed us the best locations. most importantly, we were able to see the Big Five in full. would recommend!

never better
This has been an extraordinary journey that surpassed my expectations. The itinerary unfolded exactly as we had planned, and the accommodations were precisely what we desired. I wholeheartedly recommend our guide, Juli, to everyone. He exuded enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility as he guided us through the grasslands. We had the incredible opportunity to witness the Big 5 and encounter a multitude of other animals. The entire journey was nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Excellent service
The experience of a Safari depends on so many factors that might include; the to tour company, the group, and above all the tour guide.
Our tour company “ Jungleroam Safari” were super helpful and responsive with all our questions, the pick up from our hotel was nicely planned that the driver was 7am at our hotel already.
Our tour guide- SOLOMON “permit me to present his name in caps letter”. SOLOMON did not Just drive us around the Safari as a tour guide, instead he gave us "an unforgetable experience" of Maasai Mara, Nakura and Naivasha, displaying patience and experience in making sure we see the animals in clear and close proximity.
If l will do the Safari tour one million times I will choose SOLOMON as my tour guide because he showed that he enjoys his job and he wants his tourist to have the best experience even if it means being the last group out of the safari, he showed that multiple times and luckily we saw 4/5 of the big five with only the leopard missing but his patient gave us an experience to see a lion hunt 🤩.
Last but not least, the group was so cool, we shared so many beautiful moments and experience, ranging from laughter, dancing with the Maasai, celebrating childbirth in the family of one of our group members and then celebrating a 30th birthday of one of our group member and SOLOMON surprising her “us as well” with a cake.
It was a nice experience with you all, if you get to read this ☺️😎😁

An experience that will be remembered for a lifetime
It was my first safari, and I had no idea how it would actually go, I chose the tour literally blindly, and I didn't miss it. We took a safari in Masai Mara Park for 3 days and two nights from Nairobi. The reservation itself was made online using this website and e-mail.
At the agreed time, a driver came to the hotel for us, who took us to the office, where some formalities were completed, after which we got into a jeep and drove in the direction of the Masai Mara. The road is not close - about 6 hours. Upon arrival, a warm lunch and accommodation awaited us, after which we left for the first safari at 16:00. Even though it was an "introductory" short trip, we saw loads of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, not to mention the more familiar antelopes and zebras.
The next day is a full safari: early breakfast, departure at 06:30 and return after 18:00. And it was simply magical: we visited almost the entire park, saw 4 of the big five (unfortunately, we did not meet a leopard, but we saw an extremely rare rhinoceros), in addition - crocodiles, cheetahs, hippos and a whole bunch of different birds and animals - including the Great Migration - entire herds of antelopes and zebras move from the Serengeti Park to the Masai Mara in search of food. They even observed cheetah hunting, which is quite rare. Our guide, Robin, was always proactive, talking to other drivers, and as soon as an interesting animal appeared somewhere on the horizon, we were there immediately. Even when it was already time to return to the camp, we made additional stops to look at interesting animals around. Upon our return, dinner and rest awaited us. Also that day we had lunch right in the middle of the park - a very cool experience.
The third day - if desired, you could visit the Maasai settlement, but we were tired after the previous two days (and two more days before that - flights, early ascents, etc.), and decided to skip it. After breakfast, we drove to Nairobi, stopping for lunch on the way. The guide took us directly to the apartments where we lived.
Overall impressions: This is an incredible adventure and despite our fears, everything was very well organized: everything was on time, fast, without delays and such. Accommodation - improved tents in the Lenchada camp (up to 10 minutes drive from the entrance to the park), each tent has a bathroom. It was cool at night, there were also some problems with water and electricity, but the staff helped to solve them, well, against the background of everything else, these are small things. The food is hearty, interesting, with an African flavor. The jeep is comfortable, there were no problems with it, it is convenient for viewing animals and taking photos. Well, the actual safari is an unforgettable experience for a lifetime, especially considering that it was our first trip both on safari and to Africa in general.
Special thanks to Robin, who not only drove us for these three days, but also told us a lot about animals, Kenya, local culture, language, etc. This tour wouldn't be as cool without him. And also thank you to everyone who contributed to the organization of our safari :)

Great Safari
We had a 4 day, 3 night trip just in Masai Mara, so we have 1 evening drive the day we arrived then 2 full days (stayed out from 7am to 5pm).
We chose not to go to lake Nakuru as heard mixed reviews, but apparently that is the place to find the rhinos! Lots of other animals too.
Enkorok accommodation was really nice - very nice ‘tents’ with loads of space. Had a swimming pool although we didn’t really use it as didn’t have time, as we were out on a drives all day. Food was great and the staff were incredibly welcoming.
Papa was a great tour guide! We told him the things we wanted to see each day and he always found them for us and took us to great lunch spots.
Park fees have gone up a lot since 2024 so it does make the whole trip a lot more expensive, but all the fees are included in the price so no hidden costs.
4x4 jeep was good. Think it has more space than the vans, but not wildly different.
Hot air balloon trip was incredible! It’s pretty expensive but a once in a lifetime thing. You only miss a few hours of a game drive and then you are driven to meet up with your group later in the park.
