First time on a safari and cultural tour and it was beyond anything we expected thanks to Sam and Omega!!
They helped coordinate the amazing 4 days safari tour and 1 day tribe tour, I am very satisfied with this itinerary, the daily car ride time is not too long, you can witness the African Big Five and at the same time learn about the local culture, the local tour guide is very professional and has rich knowledge, never forcibly promotes purchases, trustworthy service quality.
Omega is super punctual, has excellent driving skills and checks and cleans the car every day to ensure our safety. During the safari, Omega searched for animals diligently, has a wealth of knowledge, never slacked off and would also ask us if we wanted to see again. Omega is fantastic, the best Safari guide ever!!
Overall an amazing experience, I highly recommend everyone at mirisho for their professionalism and sincerity!!

I came across this company purely by chance, and I regret not discovering them sooner. Fortunately, I found them in the end. After experiencing this safari, I truly believe they have the potential to become a major company in the future. Their exceptional service makes guests feel welcomed, building friendships rather than just a business relationship. Communication is never an issue, and they provide a sense of security throughout the journey. The owners, who are brothers, previously worked in camps and have a deeper understanding of safaris than many employees at other companies. You can fully trust their decisions.

I travel a lot, but the tour with Sam as our guide to Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Park was exceptional thanks to the knowledge and the patience of Sam. We saw Africa's Big Five, many other animals and beautiful landscapes. Sam is a fantastic guide. He knows a lot about Tanzania and the parks. He is every time attentive for security issues so we could trust him absolutely! On the other hand, we had so much fun with him. Thank you very much for an unforgettable time in Tanzania! 😊

Our experience with Mirisho Expedition Safari was amazing throughout our 10-day safari. I was referred Mirisho Expedition Safaris by Debby who has posted a review earlier. I am very grateful that I met her briefly, in passing. On her recommendation, we chose Mirisho Expedition Safaris as our safari guides. Omega, Sam, Anastasia and their team provided a comprehensive experience including airport pickups and drop-offs, accommodation, transport, park entry, meals, refreshments, unique cultural immersion opportunities, walking and cycling adventures, coffee plantation tour and the balloon ride over the Serengeti. The lodges were awesome with hospitable staff, beautiful gardens, incredible views, great food, that were safe and secure. Omega was an incredibly careful and considerate driver. Omega had profound knowledge regarding the region, its people, their cultures and had a wealth of knowledge and experience in the National Parks. Omega had an uncanny ability to locate the wildlife. Omega had comprehensive knowledge regarding the animals we had seen. Other highlights were Mirisho Expeditions Safaris relationships that enabled us to visit a Maasai Boma (village), to locate and meet the Hadzabe people, to be educated regarding Chaga people and customs including drinking the Bege (banana beer) and the Datooga tribal craftwork and their traditions. We witnessed some amazing markets in the cities of Mta wa Mbu and Arusha. We also loved the coffee plantation immersive experience and the opportunity to eat traditional Swahili cooking. Omega was an excellent Kiswahili language tutor - "Asante sana". The whole holiday was amazing. I am very grateful for the recommendation to travel with Mirisho Expedition Safaris and recommend Mirisho Expedition for your Tanzanian safari.

Experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend
We had an excellent experience with Mirisho Expedition Safari from the start of planning (months in advance) until the end of our 7-day safari. Sam and his team handled everything for us from airport pickup until airport drop off 7-days later, including all lodging, transportation, park fees, meals, waters, and the balloon ride over Serengeti. The lodges were clean, immaculately kept grounds, good food, and safe. The itinerary Sam and his team put together was well organized and customized to what we asked. He was extremely knowledgeable me about the area and National parks, he is an excellent wildlife spotter and a wealth of knowledge about animals. He shared about the culture and took us to a Maasai village, helped us navigate a couple local markets, and answered our endless questions. The whole experience was amazing and I would highly recommend Mirisho Expeditions for your African safari.
Incredible Safari Experience with Mirisho
I recently had the most incredible experience with Mirisho during my first Safari in Tanzania, and I can't recommend them enough! I spent 8 days exploring the Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro parks, and every moment was beyond amazing. From the very start, Mirisho provided excellent support, making my trip smooth and enjoyable.
A special shout-out to Sam, my guide, who went above and beyond to help me spot the wildlife I dreamed of seeing. His knowledge of the animals and their habits added so much to the experience. Thanks to him, I witnessed the breathtaking wildebeest migration across the Mara River in the Serengeti and saw a majestic pride of lions in Ngorongoro.
This was truly a memorable journey, filled with unforgettable moments, and Mirisho made it all possible. If you're considering a Safari, I highly recommend choosing Mirisho for an incredible adventure!

Trustworthy and fun group for first time in Africa
This was our first time in Africa which made us a bit nervous about planning a safari and hike but we had the best time with Mirisho Expedition. They set up our Kilimanjaro summit which we accomplished and with great guides. We then did a safari with Samwely where not only did it make it fun and stress free, but we were able to see the big 5! The company always checked in on us to make sure we were having the best time and were always prepared. We can’t wait for our family and friends to experience the same 🫶

We were on a 14 day safari with Mirisho Expeditions safari and loved every moment of it. Samwely was very attentive to our needs. If we want to change anything, he made it happen. He took us to excellent spots to view animals. We were blowing away by what we saw. Sam was a safe driver, and believe me not all the drivers are. The lodges we stayed at were amazing, and the service in all of them ,outstanding. I highly recommend Mirisho Expeditions. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing Safari
Fantastic safari! We had an amazing holiday in Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Omega and Albert took care of everything, including accommodation and travelling for the all family. Albert was our guide and driver and he was the best. He had a great knowledge and passion about wild life. He knew when and where to go and we saw the big five and many more! Also, Albert knew a lot about animal behaviour and fauna of Tanzania and we learned a lot. Unforgettable holidays with Mirisho! Thank you Albert and Omega.
