Very efficient, reasonable, and competent. Accomodations and food were excellent.
They made it really easy, they have their own transport (they use the pop-up top mini vans which are key while actually on the safari). The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable, everything ran smoothly. Also the food was good, the accommodations were comfortable and just rustic enough to feel like we're not.

The best budget safari experience
I travelled with Red Chilli to Murchison Falls and to Queen Elizabeth parks and was really impressed. You don't get any sort of luxury - but for the price you shouldn't expect it. But booking it was really easy, the drivers are friendly and knowledgeable, the vehicle was reliable and perfectly fine and accommodation is budget but nicely done. Both trips were great - it's worth doing both destinations if you have the time/money. If you are after a budget trip I think these guys are perfect.
Best place to stay
I had the best time of my life in red chili, the staff is so nice and co operative. No stealing if you leave your stuff in room. Vegetable pizza is my fav must try.
The mix of van animal sighting and boat animal sighting was really neat
We, a group of 4 friends, did the 3 days Murchison Falls tour with this company.
From the start they were extremely efficient and made us feel confident even when weeks before we were wiring money to them in Uganda.
The van (open top) was a little old and could do with some maintenance but we always felt safe and the driving was safe too. Our driver, Sula, took us safely and efficiently to the north of the country and back.
Their camp near Para, inside the park is great and we loved the tour. The mix of van animal sighting and boat animal sighting was really neat. The park ranger that boarded our van at the Para ferry and did the north bank tour with us was absolutely excellent. She knew everything about the park and even seemed to know every animal species whereabouts. Great!
In the whole we would definitely go on a safari with them again and thus certainly recommend you do too.

Fantastic Trip Worth Every Cent
I cannot say enough good things about this company or experiance. The owner Sanders was so helpful in planning and structuring my trip and always willing to help alter the plan when my needs changed.
Each experience was so welcoming and beautiful, and while seeing all of the animals was great, my favorite part was all the people I met who worked in the parks, sanctuaries and as trackers. My driver/companion David was incredibly kind and informative. It was so enjoyable spending the trip with him.
Could not recommend more highly!

Disappointing experience
The Safai itself was quite well organized and very nice. I would also say that the price was fair, at least the initially planned price. That's where my disappointing experience kicks in:
The payment methods offered by the Red Chilli feel a bit like a rip-off. When I booked the tour, they insisted I would have to pay a 50%-deposit to confirm. They gave me some payment options, but without any information on which option has the lowest fees. As they all locked similar to me, I picked one randomly. This led to bank fees of 60 USD (more than 33% of the amount)! The management later said sorry for this, but refused to give me any form of compensation, even not a sign of good will (like a free night worth 12 USD for example, as proposed by me).
Furthermore, all cash payments in local currency at the hostel use an exchange rate that is 3,5% lower than the real one (there is also a 3,5% fee on card payments in the local currency) . Thus, you pay extra if you use the local currency! I obviously only found that out at the end of my stay.
Alltogether, it just didn't feel right. I would not recommand the Red Chilli, as there must be better options out there.

My favourite safari company!
Red Chilli Tours do exactly what they promise. They delivered an amazing safari experience at a super fair price. Our driver was full of knowledge - he had been working as a safari driver for 30 years - and had a answer for ever question. The vehicles were comfortable and made it easy to see the animals. Lions, giraffe, elephant and leopard- we saw them all!
I was very happy with my experience and would recommend them to everyone visiting Uganda.
