South Africa and Namibia Safari.Megan is knowledgable, attentive, providing top notch itinenary.
Our 3-week self-drive trip to South Africa and Namibia was fabulous, a beautiful adventure to last a lifetime.
From the wonderful apartment and lodges we stayed in Cape Town, Hermanus, Imbali, to Namibia's Sossusvlei lodge the smallest details were taken care of. The itinenary was well layed out and explaineed what we were doing on a dailiy basis.
Communication with Megan was excellant as she would answer various questions and concern a long the way. THANK YOU MEGAN. You are a ROCK STAR.

Very professional and efficient with a first class personal support and excellent local knowledge
We went to SA on honeymoon 20 years ago and always promised ourselves we would take our kids back on a really special family holiday.
Susan from Discover Africa helped us plan our perfect trip and was very organised in sorting out the details. The trip was then sent to us with a really nice e-brochure detailing what was to happen, which really got the family's enthusiasm going.
The trip itself went off without a hitch. We stayed in fantastic places, all the transfers and day trips happened on schedule and we had a holiday to remember.
What was really helpful was that Susan was on hand to help us through the holiday - she did not disappear once she had taken our money, and her local knowledge was absolutely an advantage over a UK based travel agent.
I would thoroughly recommend Susan's services and will use them again when we go back.

Great itenarary and escellent customer support.
Susan provided a fantastic itenarary and also made sure tat everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. All accommodation and activities were great with the highlight being Sabi Bush Lodge. Safari there and the staff and food were all excellent. Room amazing. Activities I would recommend outside of those included are table top mountain hike / rock climb, Boeschendal biking and picnic, wine tram, fat biking and shark cage diving. The only disappointment was Grootbos which was a nice property but pretty poorly run. Really should train staff / have some senior presence for the amount charged. Maybe look at alternatives on whale coast. Overall though a great trip!

Our African Honeymoon
Antoinette Booyse for Discover Africa did an AMAZING job!! She was on top of everything from the start. Provided us various interesting packages with different price points. Guided us through the decision making process and preparations (visas, etc) for the trip.
We communicated multiple times during the trip to resolve any questions or doubts. We were very happy using Discover Africa and would recommend them to everybody!

Wonderful trip that exceeded expectations.
I would highly recommend Discover Africa Safaris (and Diane in particular) for planning our South African adventure. Diane put together a wonderful tour for us in Sabi Sands and Timbavati. She chose two amazing safari lodges that were beyond my expectations and we had a unforgettable time on game drives, bush walks and watching wildlife from the lodges. We were able to see many species of mammals and birds very close up. Inyati Game Lodge in particular was the ultimate luxury safari experience. Transfers to and from the airport and between safari lodges were seamless. Diane also organised accommodation and activities in Cape Town, Hermanus and Knysna with similar efficiency. The whole trip was planned to the last detail making it stress-free and communication was excellent throughout the whole process . Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

Awesome service and great safari suggestions
I ended up booking my safari in Kenya through another company, but would still like to recommend Antoinette Booyse for any Kenya-travels! I have received plenty of good tips from her, she responds super-quickly and is extremely solution-oriented. She tailored a fantastic trip for us, it was mostly coincidence that made me book with a different company this time. I'm currently waiting to see if they Discover Africa has a Mt. Kenya trek for me, and will for sure contact Antoinette for my next Africa trip.

Susan was very effective at understanding our needs and creating a wonderful itinerary for us.
Susan was very efficient and effective at understanding what we were looking for as we were planing our African adventure. Very quickly, we arrived at a wonderful itinerary that met all our desired objectives for what would become a trip of a lifetime and very likely the best one that we have undertaken to date. Indeed, it will be very difficult to top it!
Susan stayed in touch with us throughout the trip. It was a very nice touch since everyone that we dealt with seemed to be very well informed of where we had been and where we were going to next.
Our 20 day trip started with 2 nights at the Hemingways Eden in Nairobi. We wanted to start our safaris rested and adjusted to the jet lag from North America. At Susan's suggestion, our safari consisted of three nights at the Elewana Sand River Masai Mara followed by three nights at the Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp and one night at the Elewana Pioneer Camp. The safari portion of our trip finished with a 2 night stay at the wonderful Ngorongoro Manor and a tour of the Ngorongoro Crater. We flew the "bush" planes to get to and between the first two lodges. The next two, we travelled by safari vehicle. All of the lodges were incredible with impeccable service. The food was excellent and their location and rooms were stunning.
We decided on private game drives and the approach was instrumental in our overall 5 star review. Our two guides, Sayagie in Masai Mara and Charmy for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, were great. We were fortunate to see the Big Five, including 4 each of the elusive leopards and the rhinoceros. The wildlife was truly incredible. We did not have the opportunity to experience the full migration due to early movement of the wildebeest from their normal migration pattern. They are normally in the Masai Mara in early October, however, early rains disrupted their normal patterns. The wildebeest seemed confused as to which way to go, heading in one direction one day and in the opposite direction the next. Notwithstanding the above, we were awed by the thousands of wildebeest intermixed with zebras, hundreds of lions, elephants, giraffes, etc. It brings a smile to our faces as we recall the two rhinos seemingly chasing the two warthogs as they were running away from a safari jeep that had moved too close for comfort.
Following our safari, we flew to Victoria Falls for 2 nights, staying at the absolutely gorgeous Stanley & Livingstone Boutique hotel. From there, we went for 5 nights at the Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town. Our sightseeing in and around Cape Town was a wonderful way to cap our great African adventure.
We highly recommend Discover Africa and Susan for your African adventure.

Go to Namibia we will go back
We , 4 adults went to Namibia on a self-drive safari organized by by Discover Africa. Devryn organized it for us He is a great communicator and fulfilled all our wishes. We unfortunately missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt and Devryn rebooked car and accommodation immediately
We were greeted by Charles who works for the car company and he helped us get a Namibian sim card for the phone and send us on our way in our VW Amarok called MoniqueWe drove south to Sossusvlei What a landscape wow and what a fantastic lodge (Camp Sossus) We have never experienced that kind of service and welcome Food excellent Starbeds a dream (you sleep outside on a proper matrass with proper duvet and pillows )what an experience Geratus our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting He took us the next day to death vlei and we had an amazing brunch in the park ,saw the canyon climbed the dunes and had a sundowner drink after a walk around the lodge Next day we went to Swakopmund (the delight hotel ) Much colder but lovely hotel .We went one night to the Jetty (fish) and one night to the Farmhouse deli for dinner . Both very nice .We took a boat out to the seal colonies .Well worth it .Super experience The next two days we drove up the skeleton coast We had asked for this specifically when the trip was planned but wouldn't do it again It is more for fishermen and the lodges are state-run which makes them more basic. We then went to Damara land (Ugab Terrace lodge ) wow the landscape is amazing ,the staff was lovely .Our guide Maier who took us on a walking tour was very knowledgeable and nice . We did the Zip line and enjoyed the pool and lovely food . We drove from there to Etoscha First night Okutala lodge (they have a white rhino herd and Giraffes that they feed very nice staff and good food ) and then 2 nights Halali camp in the park The camp is state run ,clean, has a pool and a very interesting waterhole .We saw black rhino giraffes a herd of elephants , oryx ,hyenas ,jackals and eagles there at sundown and the next day we went on a morning drive with a guide and saw our first lion This is the advantage of staying in a park lodge You have access to the waterholes at night and an earlier start in the morning before the park opens to other visitors We drove around ourselves and saw a lot of animals (zebras, giraffes ,elephants, owls ,vultures, lions ,rhinos springbuck, wildebeests, heartbeests etc Amazing . We drove back to Windhoek and went to joes beerhouse Very touristy but fun and food was excellent and sadly had to go home the next day .Namibia is very safe country, the lodges are all very clean and the private lodges are very welcoming, well equipped with excellent food Most roads are gravel or salt roads and you drive a lot if you want t see it all but it is easily doable We will definitely go back

A travel agent that really listens to you and customizes your dream safari
I really loved working with Vihann and Discover Africa Safaris. Our trip was exactly what we wanted and expected. Communication was very smooth. The trip itself went without a hickup. Vihann took care of every detail of the trip, flight details, lodging, transfers, ... and managed carefully all the organisational aspects of the holiday. The result was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And a huge bunch of new experiences, memories and a lot of photo’s to share.

Absolutely Perfection, my dream came true.
From the first call to Adelle at Discover Africa to the last minute of my holiday was perfection, from the drivers to the accomodation. Adelle fullfilled all my wishes and there was not a single thing to worry about, absolutely everything was organised. The Safari at Sabi Sabi reserve was amazing, we saw the Super 7, the food, accomodation and staff was outstanding at the Little Bush Camp. I was terribly emotional when it came to say good-bye. Cape Town was a great place to be to visit all the attractions, our accomodation was an 1800 Harbour Masters residence, absolutely beautiful and you really are right in the V&A waterfront, our private guide for the day was so infomative and polite. Hermanus, where we were so lucky to see whales. Our final days at Franschhoek, proved to be the relaxing few days, we stayed at Avonrood Guest house in the Mountain View Suite, which had the most stunning views of the mountains and a very spacious and comfortable room. The vineyards are no distance away, and the restaurants excellent. All in all a wonderful and memorable time. Thank you
