Insightful
I was able to spend the month of September visiting South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe. Matthys created a unique itinerary based on my individual preferences for adventure and interests. He was quick to respond to communications, made reservations in a timely manner and was inquisitive and responsive to requested adjustments.
The tour itself was flawless. Everything happened on time and just as planned. There was not a single issue or concern the entire month of travel. All of the accommodations, transports and flight schedules were safe, comfortable and met or exceeded expectations. Matthys will be the first person I contact when I go back!

Discover Africa offers excellent tailor made service.
Many thanks for the comprehensive planning of our 4 day stay in Rwanda with gorilla and golden monkey trekking.
Your partner in Rwanda ensured we get the best experience possible.
Beyond the Volcanoes National Park our driver took us on a city tour in Kigali and showed us the scenic places on our way to the Volcanoes and back.
His expertise was outstanding.
Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!
We recently went on safari in Sabi sands private game reserve. Vihann set us up with a beautiful lake view suite at the Arathusa lodge. Words and pictures cannot explain what a wonderful experience this was. The animal viewing was incredible. The guides were so knowledgeable and always made us feel safe. We saw the big 5 in our first full day, and were able to see cats on every game drive. The watering hole on property was constantly active with elephants, hippos, and the resident crocodile. In addition to the big 5 we saw many other animals including hyenas, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, monkeys, wildabeests, honey badgers, chameleons, and many birds. For any wildlife lover, this is truly the trip of a lifetime. I would recommend booking through Discover Africa as they took care of everything and made the travel so easy.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with all my queries.
Discover Africa were in constant contact with me throughout my whole journey and the three resorts that I’ve visited. Always checking to see that I was happy with the way things are going. Their communication was excellent. My holiday was superb. All three resorts that I visited were first class, but all different in their own right. All organised transfers between the resort went flawlessly just like clockwork. Always on time. All resort worked together with Discover Africa to make sure my stay was first class. I am more than happy with the service I received from Discover Africa and I believe it was real value for money spent. All I have to do now is decide which resort to visit on my return and of course my return will all be handled by Discover Africa. Such first class service.

Susan was incredible, communicative, accommodating and made our trip 5 star and unforgettable!
We had the pleasure of working with Susan from Discover Africa to help plan our entire two-week trip. We spent months emailing back and forth with Susan to finalize our itinerary, and she was always informative, communicative and professional! Susan made sure we had the best accommodations and each resort rolled out the red carpet for us. I don't think we will ever be able to top this trip! We started in Cape Town -> Grootbos -> Babylonstoren -> Sabi Sands -> Cape Town and Susan did not miss a beat. While we were on holiday, she checked in with us and ensured everything went smoothly from beginning to end. She was always a phone call away and helped us navigate dinners, excursions, spa treatments, transportation and more! Our itinerary that Susan put together was so detail-oriented that we essentially just had to show up to excursions and reservations when she told us to. This resulted in a 100% stress free holiday!
We can't thank Susan and Discover Africa enough for everything she did for us. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Hats off to Susan!

Diane planned for me what I dreamed of, only a whole lot better
I reached out to Discover Africa to plan my dream safari holiday because of the rave reviews from other travelers, and now it's my turn to give them my accolade. Diane Du Plessis was my agent. She listened to my vague ideas about this trip -- safari, wildlife photography, and oh it would be nice to visit Victoria Falls too -- and worked with my timeframe and budget to arrange an extraordinary trip that went beyond all my expectations, with all the accommodations and transportations planned to the smallest details. I was given plenty of time to review and revise the itinerary, but there was really nothing I would have wanted differently. Being a woman traveling solo, I especially appreciate the security and safety considerations, in addition to the comfort and luxury, that went into the planning. The safari was exceptional, with the top-notch game trackers taking us offroad in private game reserves. I got to see the big five up close and so much more! Diane went on a holiday shortly before my trip, and her colleague Megan corresponded with me to answer all my last-minute questions. The transition was entirely seamless. I look forward to my next Discover Africa holiday, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a highly enjoyable and stress-free safari experience.

Life changing experience
Everything was handled and arranged for us. We had nothing to worry about other than experiencing everything South Africa had to teach. Susan made sure that we were on track and knowledgeable at every stage and even going so far as to check us in for our flights from the Safari in preparation of the next leg of our adventure.

Adelle Bell was most helpful but it would be beneficial to have help in filing the visas was difficu
great company to work with. Communications were very helpful, reliability was superb and the money spent was in reason. Only need for future is helping to file the visas which was a very complex challenge.

All good, Megan was hands on and I would definitely recommend it to others
Namibia was all we expected. The Kulala Lodge, Fort, Onguma and Okumjima were amazing - both clean/staff-wise and animal-wise. We were a bit disappointed with Okutala lodge since the behaviour of local staff was in comparison with the other lodges substandard and way too obvious for being constantly tipped - bother line unpleasant. The only comment regarding the vehicle, a 7seater, is that if you have long distance trips it would be good to have the headrest available as the bumpy rounds are a lot to take on.

Absolutely Perfection, my dream came true.
From the first call to Adelle at Discover Africa to the last minute of my holiday was perfection, from the drivers to the accomodation. Adelle fullfilled all my wishes and there was not a single thing to worry about, absolutely everything was organised. The Safari at Sabi Sabi reserve was amazing, we saw the Super 7, the food, accomodation and staff was outstanding at the Little Bush Camp. I was terribly emotional when it came to say good-bye. Cape Town was a great place to be to visit all the attractions, our accomodation was an 1800 Harbour Masters residence, absolutely beautiful and you really are right in the V&A waterfront, our private guide for the day was so infomative and polite. Hermanus, where we were so lucky to see whales. Our final days at Franschhoek, proved to be the relaxing few days, we stayed at Avonrood Guest house in the Mountain View Suite, which had the most stunning views of the mountains and a very spacious and comfortable room. The vineyards are no distance away, and the restaurants excellent. All in all a wonderful and memorable time. Thank you
