Communication was excellent, Susan knew her stuff and provided a wealth of information.
I found my experience with Discover Africa Safaris to be a very pleasant one. I took a 5 night Maasai Mara safari in Kenya. Communication was first class from the get go, my questions were answered quickly and precisely, with lots of information available. Pick up from my Nairobi hotel to my destination in the Maasai Mara and return went perfectly. The tour itself was superb with the Great Migration just commencing and animals everywhere!! It was a once in a lifetime safari! Would thoroughly recommend to every traveler.

Efficient, reliable operator that provided us with the gaming experience we wanted
Discover Africa Safaris listened to what we wanted to experience in Africa and tailor made a series of fly in fly out safaris for us. The gaming locations that they chose were exceptional. This is why we came to Africa. Within minutes of our first game drive we were within metres of a pride of lions. The next day we were following a tracker on foot to a group of cheetah cubs. They were contactable during our holiday and were able to resolve an issue which arose with one of our accommodation providers during our holiday. This enabled us to enjoy our holiday whilst they sorted out the issue in the background.

The tour operator provided a very professional, punctual and friendly service.
This was an excellent tour visiting South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana, The staff everywhere were fantastic, the hotels were very good, all excursions hit the mark with a little bit of everything, from the magnificent Victoria Falls, land and river safaris in Botswana and the vibrant city of Cape Town. My tour operator Adelle Bell made sure everything ran smoothly from airport pick up to day trips. The only reason I did not give this tour 5 stars was the first hotel. This hotel is right in the city center and extremely noisy, however the food, staff and rooms made it bearable,

Immersive experience in the wild!
This trip was wonderful! The hotel we stayed at in Zimbabwe was so pleasant with great staff and beautiful accommodations. Victoria Falls was so beautiful and the restaurant where you have lunch has a stunning view! After moving on to Botswana, the game drives we were able to enjoy were just out of this world. I had done 20+ hours of drives in the past and never saw as many animals in one outing as I did this time around! The snacks and beverages the guide/staff packs for us are a mega plus :) and a great treat to have while enjoying the sunsets. The last place we stayed was an out of this world experience. Falling asleep at night with the sounds of wild animals all around you is indescribable! Highly, highly, highly recommend this trip!

Great safari, organisation can be improved
The safari at Hamiltons Tented Camp was amazing with beautiful wildlife, nature and a great lodge with friendly people.
The experience with the agent was not as great. Originally, we were promised a morning game drive on the last day as part of our package. We agreed on a price and payed. A few weeks later the agent reached out to let us know that we will not be able to have this morning game drive because she booked the returning flights too early. She wanted to make us pay more for different flights so we would be able to still have the morning game drive.
After some push back from my side an alternative solution was offered which was supposed to stay at the original price and still include the morning game drive. However, this solution was not communicated well to the lodge. The employees at Hamiltons were completely unaware the night before our last day.
All in all it was still a great experience. It's just not great when people try to make you pay for their own mistakes.

Lana was very responsive and worked to matched my needs with all aspects of the trip
I thoroughly enjoyed my safari. Accomodations were beautiful, food plentiful and the staff worked very hard to ensure we had a true african experience. I found the guides and trackers to be exceptionally " customer " oriented. I would certainly do another safari as a reult of this experience.
Fantastic experience
Discover Africa Safaris organized a perfect taylor made experience for us. They understoos our needs well and was by far the mozt flexible, the most pro active and the fatest.
The safari was fantastic, and Cap town amazing.
Only regrets, it was not the best time of the year to go, and they could have warned us better. The flat in Cap town was noisy as too close to the road.

Highly recommend. Professional, helpful and accessible.
A once in a lifetime trip for us creating lasting memories. The camps and hotels were excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the food excellent. We were very well looked after. The animal life was abundant and we were able to view the great 5 within a few days. All of the safaris exceeded our expectations.
Some of the internal flights and hotels are linked and we did experience a couple of airline representatives that were not helpful and lacked good communication skills. At one point we were unable to find our representative at Entebbe airport. She was at the wrong part of the airport. We were taken through to departures with instructions to stay put and that she would not be lone. We waited approx. 3 hours past our scheduled departure time. Airport staff were unable to help as it was a charted flight. It turned out she was waiting for a couple of more passengers. However the pilots were sitting in the aircraft and were also unaware and had been sitting on the aircraft for 3 hours waiting for us. We had a long overnight flight from the Serengeti to Johannesburg and then had to wait another 2 hours to be flown to our camp as the airline was waiting further passengers to fill the plane. our itinerary stated our flight time and the airline were not helpful in accommodating us. Were were eventually put on a hot plane and waited a further 45 mins till the pilot arrived. We felt they were trying to maximize their seating and felt it was not conducive to a good holiday.
We still had a great time during our two and a half weeks in Africa and would recommend this excellent company but feel the situations we found ourselves in should be addressed.

First safari wxceeded expectations
Overall the trip was amazing. We ended up having a much more luxury experience than anticipated or requested, but now I have learned and will not need that for my next safari. My tour operator was available with any questions and was a great support before we left.

Trip organised in a totally professional manner with a high level of efficiency and reliability
Second trip to Namibia
This has been again a wonderful experience. Visited 4 different locations, which I rate below starting with the best:
1. Little Kulala - fantastic accommodation, super friendly staff, very good food, very knowledgeable guide Markus, Soussusvlei at its best!!
2. Fish River Canyon - breathtaking location, super accommodation, very friendly staff, not much to see accept the canyon. Hike down to the canyon truly challenging and better save your energy to go back up!. Guides really focusing primarily on the canyon hike.
3. Aus Vista lodge Eagle's nest - impressive location of the chalets, though remoteness from the main lodge (7 km) requires driving for every meal - not the best. Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, beautiful hikes and sundowner rides.
4. Kalahari Anib lodge - operation set up for large groups, quick turnover, reasonable accommodation, average food, good for a short stop-over
In the first 3 locations they had no problem do address my daughter's dietary limitations (diary products), at Anib lodge they cared less.
