Frumence the Machine!
5/5

Our 5-day trek to summit Kilimanjaro via the Machame route with Frumence and Noel was nothing short of extraordinary! Frumence's keen assessment of our small group’s fitness allowed us to achieve what seemed impossible: we overtook all other groups and were the first to reach the peak on summit day! The mid-October weather was absolutely perfect, adding to the magic of the journey, and clear skies revealing infinite scintillating stars. The crew, from our hardworking porters to our talented cook, were clearly well-cared for by Bora Trekking, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. This trip was an adventure of a lifetime! Say hi to Frumence & Thomas from Pete & Seb!

Incredible Guide and team - exceptional money for value
5/5

We took the Lemosho route for 7 days and it was an incredible experience. Frumence, my guide, has been working on the mountain for decades and brings a lot of experience. He took great care of me and made sure to be there for me in the right moments in the right way. Everyone on the mountain knows him and he has climbed the mountain in all possible ways therefore knowing it inside and out. The crew was incredible as well and happy to work with Frumence as they received fair treatment and also transparent tips in this team! Many people on the mountain were keen to work with him again, which speaks for itself. The crew brings everything you could possibly wish for and you receive all information you need for packing etc in advance. I can recommend Bora Trekking, as it’s a great chance to support a local and still growing company where the money goes to the right people.

Amazing experience
5/5

An experience I will never forget! A friend referred me to Bora Trekking for my bucket list adventure of summiting Kilimanjaro on my birthday. Frumence and his team at Bora Trekking were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond. Bora had a team of 11 people to support us in our climb, everyone was like a close family working together to make sure we were comfortable and our needs met so we could be successful in the climb. We had three delicious meals a day served to our tent, when we had gear issues they were quick to come to the rescue with a solution. After summiting and returning to base camp, the team threw me a surprise party complete with a custom cake, along with singing and dancing! I can’t thank Bora enough for making this extra special for me and my Nephew! Afterwards back in Moshi Frumence took us out for some day tour activities and dinner, then made sure we both were taken to the airport. I highly recommend Bora should you be considering climbing Kilimanjaro or any other tour activities in the area.

He's got your back.
5/5

After a successful climb up Kili, I decided my trip would only be complete with a safari. My guide at the time was Frumence. As a solo female traveller, he made sure I was in good hands, safe, and with people he trusted. What's more, the selection of safari sites was excellent. I could not ask for a better way to complete my fantastic trip to Tanzania- a most fascinating country and people.
