Expertise, Experience, and Friendly Service!!
The safari was absolutely incredible. I travelled with my friends and all of us are in agreement that this was the trip of our lives! Our guide Aman is experienced, easygoing and an expert in tracking wild animals. He was keen to keep us happy and comfortable at all times and kept the 4x4 swanky clean. We saw so many different animals including thousands of wildebeest and zebras, elephants, flamingos, dozens of lions, cheetahs, hyenas, lots of buffalo and huge elephant herds. A big thank you to Boris for making our memories of Tanzania so wonderful.

Life time trip
I have to count our last trip to Tanzania with Akondo Adventures as the most memorable and romantic trip ever. We had an amazing guide – Aman who gave us the best guiding service to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National Parks. He was very nice, courteous and flexible, always keen to give us what we wanted. He would know where to find the animals, and when we did, he would raise the top and patiently wait for us to get the best out of the encounter. His narrations and answers to our questions were interesting, detailed and funny at times. He spoke very good English and we loved listening to him. He was quite insightful and would allow our special quiet moments when we needed them. The lodgings were top class and had excellent service for us. I will gladly return for another trip with Akondo Adventures soon

Amazing experience
Booking our dream Safari to Tanzania was such a pleasure thanks to all the hard work from Boris! Booking this tour with Akondo Adventures was easy and seemless from beginning to end. Boris, our booking agent, covered everything in detail and was very responsive to any questions I had. He responded within minutes, sometimes seconds. Everything was flawless, from booking the lodge, the flight to and from Zanzibar, and the game drive. Our driver, Simon, was friendly and very knowledgeable. We saw the big five although I was not expecting to see any leopards or rhinos, but to my amazement we spotted both. Special thank you to Boris and Simon who went above and beyond to make our safari a memorable experience that we will never forget. I would definitely book with Akondo Adventures for our next safari.

We had an amazing experience with Acondo Adventures, we did a 3 day safari from Zanzibar. Everything was well organized and accurate, the plane was on time, the driver was always waiting for us earlier than agreed, the vehicle was always clean, a refrigerator with water, beer, wine and juices was always available in the car... Every day we had a real lunch in nature, not only sandwiches, as I have seen at some other companies. I have no complaints about the whole trip. The accommodation they organized for us was like in a fairy tale, a true oasis far from the main road where one can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and a beautiful sunset. The food was like in the best restaurants, one of the best lambs I have ever eaten. Our driver Julius made a special effort to see the big 5, he fulfilled all our wishes and brought us closer to the animal world of Tanzania. All recommendations for this company and I wish them to maintain this standard in the future

Amazing
Boris choice of lodges were amazing, truly beautiful places. The accommodations at Escarpment Luxury and Serengeti Serena Lodge were impeccable, both highly spacious and luxurious. The food, service, and staff were all top-notch and there was never anything that was too much to ask. The game viewing at both lodges surpassed our expectations. A difficult trip made easy, a seamless booking experience. I will be booking my next safari with Akondo Adventures.

AMAZING SAFARI!!!!!!
We just got back from an amazing 3-day fly-in fly-out safari with Okondo, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Everything was so well-organized from start to finish. The pickups to and from our hotels in Zanzibar were perfectly on time, and the flights to and from Arusha went smoothly.
Our guide, MGonja, deserves a big shoutout – he went above and beyond to make sure we saw the best wildlife. He shared so much knowledge about the animals, parks, and local culture, which made the trip even more special.
We saw lions in action, a rhino from afar, tons of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, and even a massive herd of elephants that crossed the road just half a meter from our jeep! We also got up close to many giraffes – absolutely unforgettable. The jeep was super comfortable, which made the long days in the parks even more enjoyable.
We stayed at a beautiful lodge overlooking Lake Manyara, the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. Boris, our agent, was incredibly professional and ensured everything ran smoothly – and he even surprised us with a thoughtful present at the end of our trip! If you’re looking for an incredible safari experience, we highly recommend Okondo. Thanks again to MGonja for making it so special!

Dear travellers and everyone who wants to become one!
In June 2024 I fullfilled my dream and travelled to Tanzania. Akondo Adventures made it very easy and comfortable for me to start the journey from Germany to Tanzania. Very excited I started to the new country. From Frankfurt I flew to Arusha. Boris, the founder of Akondo Adventures, picked me up at the airport and brought me to my hotel. After one day relaxing and enjoying the traditional food of Tanzania I went to Arusha Nationalpark for safari. It was an adventure of a lifetime! I saw a lot of animal in their natural habitat. It was very impressing! The guide, his name was Bwana, knows the Arusha Nationalpark very well and knows where you can find even the rare black and white colobus monkeys. But my highlight were a group of giraffes who had a small baby with them. It was just two to three months old, Bwana told me. We had a tasty lunch with a view over the lake Momella.
All in all I thank Akondo Adventures and specially Boris to make my dream come true. I won’t forget the time in Tanzania and I miss the peaceful and wonderful nature there. They’re perfect
For a vacation that should feel like a "once in a lifetime" trip, this certainly lived up to the name. We can't thank Boris with Akondo Adventures enough for their dedication and attention to detail! From our first conversations through the trip itself, talking with Boris felt like speaking with a familiar friend. With planning, all of his recommendations were excellent, and the entire experience was magical. We went back and forth between different experiences and lodges, and Boris was accommodating to all of our questions until we had the perfect trip booked. We felt like we had 3 totally different vacations all rolled into one, and the level of service along the way was unparalleled. Between the lodgings, the locations, the food, the adventure, and the amount of time recommended for each portion of the trip, we really felt like Boris somehow put together everything that we didn't quite know how to articulate about what we would hope to see in a honeymoon, and translated it all into the perfect trip. great safari experience
Our group of friends had an unforgettable safari experience. Our guide Mbwana knew every possible road through the vast Serengeti and knew where to take us to make sure we saw every type of animals there in the park. The camps in the bush were all quite good with tasty food and basic but good facilities. Every day was an adventure. We had two small children in our group and Francis paid special care to make sure they were comfortable and happy. Our trip could not have gone better and we highly recommend this tour company and especially our guide Mbwana.
