3 day safari in Pilanesberg National Park.
Excellent experience from start to finish.
Well organised and trip tailored to exactly what we had time for.
Very friendly and knowledgable driver for airport transfer, as well as for all the game drives.
Perfect hotel with dining overlooking wildlife.
We saw more wildlife on the game drives than we ever thought possible.
Everything organised perfectly by wild wings including all the game drives and a boma outdoor barbecue dinner.
Would highly recommend.

Wild Wings Safari Kruger
My wife and I just returned from a Wild Wings 5 day Kruger Safari. September 18- 22, 2018. It was awesome. Simon was our tour guide. He was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and the safari. He always made sure we had great viewing of the animals and put us in positions to get great photos. He is very friendly and a lot of fun. We enjoyed it so much we are planning a Wild Wings Safari to the Serengeti next year. It really could not have been any better, it far exceeded our expectations.
Great from beginning to end
Everything was perfect - booking, 5 day safari, catering, lodgings - and of course all the wildlife. You can book with Wild Wings with confidence that your trip of a lifetime will be well planned and organised and managed by professional safari guides (in our case Simon and Jacques).
Thank you - Family of 4 with older teenagers.

The most magical safari I have ever been on!
Just a short note to say thank you so much for organising our safari , from start to finish we had the most amazing time! We booked through Madi - she was extremely helpful and professional and answered all our questions promptly and thoroughly!
We were lucky enough to have our guide Nicky and the open vehicle all to ourselves which made our honeymoon even more special.
We managed to see the Big 5 twice and then some. Nicky was a wonderful guide who did everything in her power to provide us with the most wonderful sights , her knowledge of the area and the animals was so interesting, we learned a lot from her. The accommodation at Lower Sabie was just perfect , and the food cooked and provided by Nicky was fantastic.
The only problem with our safari was that it was too short and we wished we could have stayed longer!!!!
Thank you so much again , you were fantastic to deal with. I will highly recommend Wild Wings to all our family and friends. Please pass on our thanks to Nicky!
Absolutely trustworthy and honest about working within stated budget for the very best experience!
Our journey was More than we hoped it would be. It was perfectly orchestrated and without a hitch! thank you so much for your frankly honest, patient and most thorough planning and flawless choices of drivers, accommodations and advice! Your choices were above any suggestions for improvment . your suggested flight times were perfect. Most of all, I sing your praises about how intuitive and honest you are about budget questions and set up perfect lodge accomodations and guides. Your advice about warm clothing was MOST appreciated- we used all we brought because of your advice including hand warmers for the AM drive.
Each of our drivers were very knowledgeable, honest and professional. they were also attentive and clearly Loved their occupations and showed it! Prompt, MOST knowledgeable and careful. Edward Thembe (?) from Zulu Nyala to Hazyview then to Kruger was both patient (with a slow climber on the panoramic route (me!) and careful as we dodged boulders that were thrown onto the road after local demonstrations./protests.
Hazyview could easily have been more than a respite stop! The accomodations were luxurious and comfortable/restaurant offered a breakfast that sustained us till dinner!
Now to Mohlabetsi Tyler, the 7 year old replied when asked what he would say when friends asked him about his trip he said "yeah, go to Mohlabetsi! Its like sleeping IN the zoo only the animals are closer"
Tipping hints are appreciated as this can become a significant additional cost for GREAT service.

Excellent guide and service made our safari memorable
We could not have asked for a better safari guide than Armand from Wild Wings. He was attentive, good humoured and engaged at all times, as well as being knowledgeable about the animals, birds, plants and everything else we asked about. Armand is clearly passionate about his work, and committed to pleasing his clients. When some of our fellow tourists, who had their hearts set on seeing a lion, missed a sighting due to a cancelled flight, he made every effort to find another, and was openly delighted when he succeeded. When it was just the two of us, he adapted to what we wanted, for example he was happy to stop longer to watch birds.
We also liked having a separate chef to cook for the group. The food was excellent - something which couldn't have been achieved by a safari guide who had just spent a full day on the road, as some safari companies require. It was great to have dishes with a South African flavour.
Setting everything up by e-mail is not always easy, but once we arrived in Africa we were very happy with how our tour was organised, both in Kruger and beyond. The accommodation was more than comfortable and matched what we expected. All the timings worked out, and the range of different safaris provided a good contrast. The bush walk organised by the national park was disappointing, because the rangers were not especially interested, but their night-time safari at Satara was excellent. The WW recommendation to visit the Chobe River in Botswana proved to be exactly right.

Kruger Safari was outstanding for our family
Our safari experience with Wild Wings was outstanding from the planning stage, to the accommodations and food, and the safari itself. Mike ensured that we understood the documentation so that we could arrive in South Africa with our minor children, he arranged private accommodations for our group at the camp and Jacques food was delicious! Everything exceeded our expectations for our family of 6 and our guide Simon was fantastic! We had such a terrific overall experience and would highly recommend Wild Wings.

6 Stars Safari Experience
My wife and I took a 5 day Safari in Kruger National Park with Wild Wings Safaris, staying in Skukuza and Satara restcamps with a group 6 other guests.
When we first contacted Madi and the team at the office we could already tell that these were very professional people putting together a special trip for us. Detailed information was provided, all questions promptly answered and every effort made to accommodate our needs. For that we would have given them 5 stars already, but what followed after we met our guide, Simon, made us want to give them a 6th star.
Simon clearly loves what he does. He's been guiding Safaris for 10+ years and still enjoys it as much as we did our very first time. He does this with so much passion and respect for the animals, you can tell this is more than just a job for him. Looking so hard for the animals, reading their body language, looking for a better angle, a better light, taking his own photos, detailing what we were seeing in his own words instead of giving some memorized textbook description. He was having a great time and he was sharing that special experience with us, which made us feel so lucky.
After each day of excitement, delicious food was prepared by Jacques, our own personal chef for the trip, who would not only cook but beautifully set and light the tables, describe our meals and make us feel relaxed under a roof of stars.
Thank you Madi, thank you Jacques and specially thank you Simon.
We will find new opportunities to enjoy wildlife in Africa and FOR SURE we'll count on Wild Wings again next time.

Efficient and effortless.
Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Cathari answered all our email questions promptly and accurately. We did a safari in Kruger, a private camp safari, flight to Victoria Falls, and all hotel accommodations. Hotels were all fabulous. The safaris, notably with Simon in Kruger national park was a once in lifetime experience, and everything I though it would be. All our transfers/pick ups were seamless. I would highly recommend Wild Wings for all your African Travel needs.
