Outstanding service that made for a wonderful experience.
I highly recommend Wild Wings Safaris as they created life long happy memories for us during our 5 day Kruger National Park safari. From the initial enquiry, Ilaria provided options and advice. Her regular and timely contact made it feel a very personal service. Our guide for the trip, Nicky was full of energy and enthusiasm as she demonstrated her knowledge and care for the wildlife. She was passionate about sharing her knowledge to ensure we had the best time. We saw and learned so much as she put us in the right place and the right time to see so many animals...much more than 'the big 5'. Her understanding of animal behaviour was amazing to see. Whether it was reading a lioness wanting to take her cubs across one of the roads or stopping quietly as she knew a couple of elephants were looking to take a bath in one of the lakes....amazing. This is not a relaxing trip but Nickys enthusiasm is infectious and that keeps you going. Great value for money, early starts and full days searching and admiring wildlife where it should be. Can't wait to do it again...and it will definitely be with Wild Wings.

Professional, Thorough, & Thoughtful!
Highly responsive to all our questions from the beginning, the tour itinerary we requested exceeded our expectations. We stayed at first class hotels and safari camps, were met and greeted and guided to our connection flights and hotels every step of the way, and enjoyed safe but adventurous safari experiences. It was a unique, thoughtful itinerary that has created memories for our family that we will cherish for years to come. And now our kids want to go back!

A personalised service to find the perfect safari for us
A 5 day safari in the Serengeti staying at Olmara Camp - a once in a lifetime trip for the whole family. Clare and the Wild Wings Team chose lovely accommodation for us and ensured smooth transfers from our arrival in Tanzania, into the Serengeti, and for our return. We are so glad Clare suggested Olmara camp; it is a gem - dedicated staff who made us feel so welcomed, great food and really comfortable (but not over the top) accommodation. Just right. Discretely sited amongst trees, it is an open camp so we had some interesting night visitors - including elephants and hyenas. Our guide, who met us on arrival, was wonderful and made sure that we had the very best sightings of wildlife. This safari wasn't cheap - we were taking 8 adults - but we'd love to do it again next week! So many irreplaceable memories of a special time together - and so much wildlife seen.

Efficient and Detail Oriented
Our experience with Wild Wings Safaris company is very positive since the first day! Thanks to them, my husband and I had an unforgettable experience!
There are honestly no words to describe how wonderful the trip has been for us.
Since day one, Tanja and all the staff was very attentive of our budget and planned a ad-hoc trip based on our needs and price range.
The communication was very open and clear and in no time, we were able to organize the perfect experience.
A special thank you goes to Simon, the best guide we could hope for! He was funny, professional and unbelievably knowledgeable!
Every Safari is different of course, and we consider ourselves lucky to see all the Big 5 and so much more.
We are recommending Wild Wings Safaris to anyone!

A truly memorable safari vacation
Our safari tour in South Africa, Victoria Falls, and Chobe National Park organized by Wild Wings Safaris was fantastic. We did a hybrid safari – a private reserve safari combined with Kruger National Park. We liked both the experiences and saw all the Big 5 animals and more. We started our safari tour planning about 4 – 5 months ahead of the tour and Ilaria Semprini-Sara, our tour consultant, was great from the start. She noted our interests and carefully planned the tour and made it efficient by suggesting airline connections and giving all the details in a mobile app. She was meticulous and all the transfers were on time and accommodations were excellent. In addition, our tour guide in Kruger National Park Simon was great. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the birds and animals. The tour was well-organized with professional communication and organization. Highly recommend Wild Wings Safari’s and I would certainly plan my future tours with them.

Outstanding Experience
As an experienced solo traveler when I researched an African safari I realized the complexity of logistics and decided to do it right to have the experience I wanted I needed an expert. I found that expert in Wild Wings Safaris. Communication with WWS was excellent from my first inquire email. Tanja at WWS listened to my interests and made recommendations and rapidly put together a perfect 8 day itinerary combining two Kruger National Park locations, South, then Central and Klaserie Baobab Ridge a private reserve. The organization of the Itinerary was excellent, clear to understand day by day movement and illustrated with maps. Additional important good to know information was also provided along with an App. to down load the itinerary, information and contact points to my iPhone that was then available offline. Tanja was great at answering the few questions I had in a timely friendly manner. Note that my research told me the best time of year for sitings is June to October.
An additional note on WWS organization, while en route to Johannesburg my connecting flight was cancelled. I immediately emailed WWS to let them know what happened and I may arrive late. Tanja immediately responded with an alternative plan in the event of a late arrival to get back on itinerary track. You can’t ask for more. Fortunately I was able to reschedule a flight and arrived on time.
I met my guide Nicky in Johannesburg who then drove me to Kruger. The first afternoon in Kruger I saw the Big 5 plus a cheetah. Saw lions and many of the big 5 as well as other wildlife everyday. Nicky was an invaluable part of the experience. She had a keen eye for spotting, knew the park extremely well to find sitings and was relentless in finding everything that lives, roams and flys in Kruger.
She was knowledgeable, informative about the safari expectations, safety, the animals and their habits. She gave me some photo tips that improved my shots. Nicky is an experienced guide, good driver, good humored and a well organised fantastic cook preparing gourmet dinners. All itinerary meals were prepared by Nicky . Alll accommodations in Kruger were appropriate and comfortable. Baobab Ridge Private Reserve provided the off road tracking experience an ability to get closer to some animals. The lodge was beautiful, with detached luxury suites and chefs preparing wonderful meals. My guide Divine was experienced and we got good sitings. As a solo traveler I was paired up with two different small groups four of the eight days. We all got along, rotated jeep seats and shared delicious meals together.
My overall experience was exceptional. The entire Safari was seamless. I highly recommend Wild Wing Safaris. I am already planning on booking another tour with them. Explore their well designed website as they have a variety of offerings in many African countries. Safe travels.

Wild Wings Safaris provides amazing service, excellent communication, and knowledgeable guides.
We had an amazing time on safari in South Africa! Ilaria made the planning process smooth and simple. The communication was clear and helpful throughout. Everything was great: from our pick up at the airport, to our stay at the Safari Club, to our time on safari. We loved having Nicky as our safari guide. She was very knowledgeable and engaging, and her passion and love for the bush and the animals were infectious.

Unquestionably, Wild Wings Safaris has the best program, guides, and professional staff.
First of all, thank you for arranging such a comprehensive and wonderful trip to South Africa.
I some joking fashion, I wanted to say something like “I think Wild Wings is being unfair in that they have taken all the best guides and caterers and accommodations and transfer groups and have left the other tour companies with the leftovers”. I decided it wouldn’t sound nice to say that but that is about the way all of us felt. Your guide and caterer “made” the trip which I am sure is NOT new news to WW. The guide knew EVERYTHING and between him and the caterer the two of them were incredible. We all quickly became “family” and trusted each other without question.
We didn’t know Wild Wings before this trip; however, we know them now. We travel extensively and have many friends who do the same. We will be “promoting” Wild Wings to all of them. I could see flying into Kruger vs Johannesburg though.

She was absolutely Amazing!
Our safari was amazing!
Wild wings safaris did an outstanding job putting together a most memorable trip!
To start, we were met by our wild wings guide, Nicky at the airport. She was very pleasant and friendly! During our transport to Kruger park, she provided us with information about South Africa, and specifically about the area we were travelling through. She was very informative!
Once at Kruger Park, she transferred us into our open safari vehicle and started our first game drive. She was absolutely amazing! Right from the beginning we were seeing Elephants, Giraffes, Impala and Lions. She pointed out birds and small game, as well as foliage along the drive. She provided us with ample time to take photos and admire the wild life during our drive. When we returned to our bungalow in the Shukuza camp, she made sure we were settled in and got us acquainted with the camp. She cooked our dinner and enjoyed the meal with us. She was so friendly and accommodating. It was as if we were all on vacation together. Throughout the game drives, she was able to effortlessly locate just about every big game animal there was to see, along with various birds and small game animals. We can not praise enough how absolutely amazing she was and she provided us with memories of a lifetime!
Once our stay at Kruger ended we went on to the Arathusa Lodge. At Arathusa, we were greeted by Dylan who checked us in and escorted us to our chalet, and explained the resort and amenities. We were truly amazed at the luxury accommodations and the exceptional treatment we received from the entire staff. It was like we were royalty. Our chalet and patio overlooked the watering hole, where we frequently saw elephants, impala and wild dogs gathering. We were provided lunch and then started our first game drive. Our guide was Brett and both him and his tracker did an outstanding job of locating the "big five" during our time there. During our first drive, we stopped for a break, and Brett provided us with a bottle of Champagne to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Everyone joined in and toasted with us! After the drive, at dinner, we were escorted to a private table overlooking the pool, by candle light, where we enjoyed a celebratory 5 star romantic meal again to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff at Arathusa went out of their way to make the evening a most enjoyable and memorable event. The accommodations at Arathusa were that of a 5 star hotel! The staff was very attentive, making sure our time there was fun and relaxing. We were provided gourmet meals, luxury accomodations and exceptional service!
We would highly recommend to anyone looking to do a safari in South Africa, to let Wild Wings Safaris take care of all the planning. You did an exceptional job and provided us with memories of a lifetime!!! Doing safaris in both Kruger park and at Arathusa is definitely the way to go! If we would have concentrated all our time at one and not the other, I don't think we would have had the abundance of experiences that we had!
Thank you for everything!
We will be coming back for another safari and will most definitely choose Wild Wings for our safari tours!

perfect planning
Our family of 4, 1 adult, 2 teens, 1 child did a 6 night/7 day safari in the Kalserie and Sabi Sands Reserves and it was one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. From the beginning, Ilaria with Wild Wings Safari was very helpful and was always willing to answer my (many) questions. The trip was perfectly organized. Ilaria understood what we wanted and put together the most amazing itinerary. The lodges she recommended were both superb (Simbavati Waterside and Dulini Leadwood). Ilaria even gave me her private phone number so we could reach her on May 1st, which was a day off, in case we needed to. Great service. Strongly recommend.
