Wonderful Experience!
I had a fantastic experience booking a Safari with Wild Wings Safaris.
The prompt responses, hospitable communication and professionalism from the staff, sets a high bar in this safari tourism industry and in my humble opinion, truly marks this company with distinction and excellence as an industry leader. I will wholeheartedly consider Wild Wings if I ever plan another safari!

Very professional and trustworthy
We were really very satisfied with everything that Madi from the Wild Wings scheduled for our group - from the pick up at the airport upon our arrival to SA and arranging for our skis and boots to be picked up at Tambo and taken to Africa Sky Gesthouse for safekeeping and then drive to Kruger where we had more than wonderful time. We consider ourselves lucky for having Simon with our group - he is really a master of his job, and he loves doing it...so we also felt good with him around. We managed to see the big 5 and more, and enjoyed every minute to the blast....also in our meals given that Jacques (sorry if I misspelt his name) is an excellent cook and dinning in the Skukuza is something extraordinary by itself...The accommodation there was also nice, although basic - but to our expectations. Definitely excellent value for money.

Excellent safari
We been on a few trips around the world before but this beats them all. We had a five day/four nights safari with Armand as our private guide and John as our private chief in Kruger park. Everything was arranged perfectly and we did not need to think about anything practical for the entire trip. We started the trip with arriving early at Johannesburg airport. We were there picked up and had a private driver that helped out with picking up the prebooked Nikon 600mm/4 before arriving to Kruger.
Armand then picked us up and we got a first safari before sunset the same day with good shots of Rhinos. John cooked food just of us in the evening. Very nice South African special food. An early start day two with a bush walk in the sunrise. Perhaps not the highlight of the trip but still nice to walk around where lions could be. Two armed guides made them stay away though. After special breakfast with John it was time to head out with Armand on the full day safari. We could see a lot of animals but second day was even better, we got all big five in one day then.
But the big five is not the main thing. When sitting in the open vehicle you get so much of the open scenery and you soon start becoming your own animal scout. Seeing a family of elephants passing the road just in front of you is truly something special. And waiting for them there is all of a sudden an exotic bird sitting on the tree branch just beside the car. When looking at the hippos in a pond, there is a family of baboons next to the car stealing all your interest.
I got more and better pictures taken during the 4/5 days in Kruger than in most other places. If you head for a private reserve instead of booking within Kruger by itself the car can drive close to any animal. Even if that will give you much better closeup pictures, it will also mean more stress for the animals. I do prefer the Kruger way which brings out the need of a good tele-lens but leaves the animals more private.
Could anything been done better? Well, the park ranger tours with bush walk one morning and sunset safari an evening were less interesting, they would fall into the category of nice to have done but no need to repeat. It was truly Armands guided safaris that made the trip, and Johns food for sure.
I already recommended the trip to a number of fiends, not something I always do. And this is one trip I would like to repeat.

Perfect experience!
I were extremely satisfied with the service provided by Wild Wings. Simon was the perfect guide! He had this sharpened and fascinated look by the beauties of Kruger, always sharing with us information about animals and wildlife. Jock was great too. The meals prepared by him were always very tasty and well presented.

They made all efforts to get the booking that we wanted at a very reasonable price.
Communication-- our consultant, Madi was always quick to respond to our queries
She was also very patient in booking us in the accommodation that was suitable for our party
Transfers- very efficient; always on time
Safari-- GOMO GOMO was a very cozy & idyll lodge as it was very private & had a watering hole to boast.
Even in between game drives, we were treated to hippos in the lodge by the watering hole.
Staff was very friendly & accommodating! Food was good & plentiful. Special mention to our ranger , Werner and tracker, Dominic, who made sure we saw the BIG 5 even if we only had 5 game drives!
Everything perfect.
The organization of the transportations, the quality of the lodges, and the amability of the people we met has been outstanding.

Awesome Holidays
Was doing my research on safari and came upon Wild Wings Safari, and started communicating with Cathari, bombarding her with questions, and she was able to give us what we need to know and in a fast and professional manner. Helped us with our last minute trip arrangement and sent us to Mohlabetsi Private Lodge which is very professional and wonderful lodge. The entire booking experience with Wild Wings had been more than pleasant and the stay with Mohlabetsi was also one of the best experience we had.
Thanks Cathari for making our wedding anniversary trip an unforgettable trip of our life completed with the romantic dinner arrangement. Definitely will go with them for our next safari trip
We've had three good experiences with Wild Wings.
We have been on three journeys with Wild Wings, two to Kruger Park and one to Victoria Falls. One of those to Kruger was in 2008 and the other in 2017, but the satisfaction was the same. They are very cooperative in arranging the journey to suit you and very prompt in their correspondence. They clearly outline what to expect on the days of your safari and come through on what they say. Their guides were very friendly and competent and did whatever they could to make our journey enjoyable. I would recommend Wild Wings as a company you can count on.

Wonderful experience in South Africa!!!
Wild Wings Safaris is a very responsible and serious company. Mike was our contact and understood from the beginning what we were looking for. He arranged the trip exactly as we wanted it. Then everything was perfect in South Africa. All accomodations, transfers and excursions were as planned. We had no problems during the trip!
We are very happy and satisfied with our holiday in South Africa. It's a wonderful country with very friendly people!
Although all the guides were very good, we want to make a special mention for Neil and Cas. We really enjoyed and learned a lot with them.
Despite being the worst time of year to go to Kruger, Neil did his best to spot all the animals. We saw lions, cheetahs, elephants, white rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, hyenas, wild dogs and much more. We just missed seeing a leopard. Neil is also an excellent cook!
Cas is a perfect guide. She speaks very clearly. And she made great recommendations during the Garden Route tour.
In conclusion, we strongly recommend Wild Wings.
