Beyond all expectations
5/5

Our 5 day/4 night safari was beyond expectation. From the pre booking right through to our last farewell, we were treated to the most
unforgettable experience. We had travelled from the US and Mexico and flew into JNB where we were greeted by our driver to wisked us off to
the Hazyview. There, we met our guide Simon; an incredible human being, with a heart of gold and a passion for nature. We were truly blessed to spend our five days with him.
Our safari was non stop adventure, sighting the big 5 plus more & more. Simon´s knowledge of the park, the wildlife and taking particular time to ensure we got to see our favourite animals was exceptional. Doug, our resident chef was also an amazing hand in the kitchen, laying on beautifully prepared breakfasts and dinners, al fresco with tablecloth and all. We just didn´t expect these inmemorable touches.
The Safari vehicle was pristine and comfortable, accomodation was superb in the 2 lodges Skuzuza, then Sakura.
We were also treated to Letters & Edward's morning bush walk- quite something. A sublime experience. If you want to safari, just book it with Wild Wings. Clare and the team attentive , responsive and very accesible.

We will never forget the memories we made as a family
5/5

Since we came all the way from The Netherlands and had saved for this trip for years, we wanted to make the most of our time together as a family. Wild Wings gave us several suggestions, one of which was to do the Panorama route and 5-day Kruger safari, a total of 7 days with a guide. This proved to be excellent advice.

We loved every minute of our week, from beginning to end. We were picked up by the friendly guide Simon, from our airport hotel in Jo'burg. We then travelled to Graskop where we stayed for 2 nights. We loved the swimming pool with a view - next to our chalet! Over the next 48 hours we visited several highlights of the Panorama route: God's Window, Berlin Falls, Mac Mac Pools, etc. A very relaxing and beautiful start to our holiday. Simon arranged the breakfasts and dinners, which were delicious and rich!

After this we travelled to Skukuza to discover the Kruger. Before we even entered the camp we had already seen impala, many elephants (up close!), hippos, crocodiles and zebras. The next day Simon found rhinos for us, which took quite a drive, but he and us persevered. For the final 2 days we stayed in Satara, were we saw many female and male lions up close, the white lion Casper, more crocodiles and hippos and a lot of elephants, giraffes, buffalo and zebras.

We were impressed with Simon's hard work, his kindness, his dedication to his profession, his love for and knowledge of the animals and the personal touch. The meals were exquisite too. Despite the fact that the days were long (early starts and long drives), we wish they would have been even longer. There was just so much to see and do, even though we had booked the longest of the 'Best of Kruger' options. Simon was always on time and flexible too. The tour was very affordable and worth every cent!

The only problem is that we were hit with a virus: the Kruger virus has now infected us! We want to come back as soon as we can. We have already started saving for the next time. Thank you for everything, Wild Wings!

Rufus was great!
5/5

Onne from Wild Wings was very helpful in planning a very last minute trip. He made himself available after regular work hours for any questions. All my transfers, hotels, tours were top rated!

Our safari guide, Rufus, was great! He was very knowledgeable about Kruger and all the animals we saw. He was very personable and always a great chef.

Shawn, the guide, in Cape Town was excellent. We spent all day exploring Cape Town and its surrounding areas. We covered of ground in one days.

I would highly recommend Wild Wings for your next African adventure!

Incredible 4-day trip into the bush
5/5

Wildwings was recommended to us by friends and after our experience we can only recommend the organisation. The safari was definitely the highlight of our trip to South Africa. It was super organised since from the beginning, we were picked up directly from the hotel in Johannesburg and we didn't have to worry about anything and were able to fully immerse ourselves into the game drives. Not only did we see a lot of animals, but thanks to our guide Nicky we also learnt a lot about them and the bush. As we were on a 4-day safari, we had enough time to stay at sights for longer periods of time and watch the animals in their habits and interacting with each other. Nicky made us an excellent breakfast and dinner with samplings of typical dishes. We really could not have asked for a better guide and a better organization to make this trip definitely one to remember!!

We had an amazing time!
5/5

We had the 5 Day Kruger Park and Private Lodge Combo Safari and it was fantastic. Everything was well organized by Mike, when I send an email, a few hours later I already get an answer back.
We spend 3 days with Nicky, she was wonderful, knows a lot from the animals and the birds in the Kruger area. Also a good cook.

And Arathusa Private Lodge, no words for this luxury stay, beautiful lodges, great food and the best game drive.
When we ever go back to Africa, we definitely make a tour with Wild Wings Safaris and we’ll recommend it on our friends and family.

Wild Wings arranged the trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Wild Wings arranged the trip of a lifetime! Our Wild Wings guide Rufus was the greatest guide in the world. He was so entertaining and amazingly knowledgeable. He gave me a university level education on Kruger Park including birds, animals, plants and ecology. He seemed to know more than any guide I have ever encountered. I learned the names of over 40 different birds as well as the large animals that are so awe inspiring. And we always had a good time! We saw more big animals than I thought possible in our 5 day safari. Rufus was so perceptive of all our needs and arranged the safari in a way everyone could get the most out of it. A birder couldn’t do better and we saw all the big animals on every drive. If you are a gardener and interested in the plant life of Africa, Rufus can point out all the amazing plants and what they were used for by hunter gatherers. He was also very considerate, helpful and understanding of anyone who has a special concern. I was blown away by Wild Wings ability to arrange the trip of a lifetime!
Wild Wings also arranged all transfers, hotels in Johannesburg and additional nights in a private reserve, Baobab Ridge Lodge in Klaserie. When I walked into that private bungalow I wondered where all the other billionaires are staying. Our trip went amazingly smoothly.

Professional, helpful and very knowledgeable.
5/5

We have recently returned to the UK after a fourteen day safari in Kruger NP organised by Wildwings Safaris. This was the third time we have used them and we can’t wait to return.
First of all the planning and tailoring of the trip to suit our needs was done with Clare. She’s highly professional, responds immediately to queries and always produces a great itinerary for us.
Likewise, we always start with the four night trip to Kruger, with pickup from Joberg airport, a drive to Kruger, transfer into safari vehicles and then game drives based in two different SanPark camps, this time Skukuza and Satara. Simon was our driver, guide, chef, companion…he’s simply great at finding game, explaining stuff and getting something for everyone in the jeep (Landcruiser). The value for money in this first section is extraordinary.
Then we had private transfers to three further camps, Bataleur Tented Camp in the Timbavati concession; Inyati Game Camp in Sabi Sands concession; Jock’s Camp in the south of the Kruger NP. Varied environment, accommodation, wildlife and price points but all offering warm welcome, lovely accommodation, lovely food and fabulous game drives.
Going to the other side of the world, to remote places and with different cultures can be both exciting and daunting. We can fully recommend Wildwings to create a wonderful experience for you.

Excellent, went above and beyond in making this a great trip, with no issues. Only a great experience
5/5

First and most important is to have a company that really makes the customer first. Ilaria my tour coordinator was great, addressed All my questions, issues and inquiries which lead to an enjoyable problem free trip. The Safaris themselves were also more than I could have hoped for, but with luck and guides that seem to love what they were doing, and worked at making the drives exciting..because of their efforts to locate the least seen of the big Five. The equipment and Resorts clean, friendly and very well done. And WildWings Safaris cannot be given an better rating than 10 but must say they deserve it.

Michael Malan was very professional, prompt with e-mail replies, and he was/is MOST AWESOME !
5/5

There are no words to describe how simply EXTRAORDINARY, AWESOME, SPECTACULAR, AMAZING tour with Wild Wings Safaris was for me ! From the very first communication with the company owner / manager " ONA " , I was immediately impressed by his enthusiasm and professionalism. All my life I have wanted to visit South Africa and see all the animals in Kruger Park. This company helped me fulfill my lifelong dream in a marvelous way. They exceeded my expectations. Michael Malan my tour coordinator was very very good at his job and replied to my e-mails that were full of questions, in a timely manner. Nicky was my tour guide out in the park, and our excellent chef, and a VERY knowledgeable, enjoyable person who went above and beyond in so many ways during my 3-day safari. She was so amazing. She had tons of patience as we waited to see some of the animals who were a bit shy - but we waited and got the most wonderful pictures ever ! ! I have told all my friends that this should be on their bucket list most definitely and they need to book with Wild Wings Safaris. Everybody was so reliable - they did exactly what they said they would do - - no unpleasant surprises. What a delight ! ! I cannot say enough great things about my once-in-a-lifetime vacation ! I was beyond blessed ! A huge thank you to the team at Wild Wings Safaris !

Outstanding service that made for a wonderful experience.
5/5

I highly recommend Wild Wings Safaris as they created life long happy memories for us during our 5 day Kruger National Park safari. From the initial enquiry, Ilaria provided options and advice. Her regular and timely contact made it feel a very personal service. Our guide for the trip, Nicky was full of energy and enthusiasm as she demonstrated her knowledge and care for the wildlife. She was passionate about sharing her knowledge to ensure we had the best time. We saw and learned so much as she put us in the right place and the right time to see so many animals...much more than 'the big 5'. Her understanding of animal behaviour was amazing to see. Whether it was reading a lioness wanting to take her cubs across one of the roads or stopping quietly as she knew a couple of elephants were looking to take a bath in one of the lakes....amazing. This is not a relaxing trip but Nickys enthusiasm is infectious and that keeps you going. Great value for money, early starts and full days searching and admiring wildlife where it should be. Can't wait to do it again...and it will definitely be with Wild Wings.
