Professional, efficient and excellent communication, fulfilling all our trip requirements and more
5/5

The whole trip was absolutely fantastic. The communication with Gavin and his effort in making our trip itinerary was excellent.

The Lodges & Camps exceeded what we expected, both in standard and service and the efforts from the local staff and guides made our trip very special.

The wildlife we saw also exceeded our expectations as you can never predict what you will see.

Well done Wild Wings we will definitely book through you again in the future :)

Amazing experience - exceeding expectations
5/5

We undertook a 5 day safari ( 3 days Wild wing safari, 2 day private lodge ) with our family ( 2 girls aged 10 & 12) in Oct 2019.

Firstly the logistics, all of these were perfect, guides and transfers were all on time, courteous and friendly. This made for a completely stress free experience.

The wild wings Safari portion of our trip exceeded all of our expectations , both in terms of game viewing but also the team that provided this for us. Firstly we discovered that we were the only ones on this trip so it felt very personal and it was fantastic for our family, like out own tailored Safari for 4.

Our guide was Happy who was brilliant, he took the time to explain so much and went into detail about all the animals not just the big 5. He was keen to show us as much as possible and the entire family enjoyed our time with him, we managed to see all the major animals multiple times over often being the only vehicle present. We can't recommend the Wild Wings Safari and Happy highly enough.

The other highlight was John and the cooking, we were a little unsure about what to except with the "home cooked" meals but it was like having our own personal chef, the food was really good and the dinners and breakfasts were a really pleasant experience spent enjoying fantastic food and chatting to Happy and John about the Kruger as well as the food, John's passion for his cooking really shone through.

After such a stunning Safari with Happy and John, Mohlabetsi had a lot to live up to. It was really interesting experiencing the difference with a private game lodge. it is a lot more structured in terms of your day and the lodge was really comfortable and felt luxurious. You do also get really close to the animals as the vehicles can go off road.

We would happily recommend Wild Wings Safari's.

Now that was a great trip!
5/5

Our group of 13 has just returned from a wonderful 4-day safari experience with Wild Wings Safaris. It was an easy process right from the beginning working with Cathari, our reservations manager. She was always prompt with replies and answers to questions. All of the pre-trip arrangements regarding dietary needs, pick-up location, etc., were met without any problems. Our shuttle from Nelspruit to the Kruger Gate was waiting for us on arrival, as were our two guides, Rufus and Edward when we arrived at the park gates. They were terrific - friendly throughout the trip, were good at spotting the wildlife and providing information for each animal, and they went out of their way to provide good viewing opportunities. The accommodations in Skukuza Camp were excellent, as were the meals that were prepared by Jacques. And the wildlife did not disappoint either. Everyone saw the Big 5 (more than once), as well as many other varieties of animals. Thank you Wild Wings Safaris.

Stellar
5/5

I traveled to Cape Town and Johannesburg South Africa, had a safari in Timbavati Nature Reserve in South Africa, then went to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Zanzibar, Tanzania from August 23- Sept 13, 2019. I used Wild Wing Safaris to book the best vacation I have ever had. From the beginning Gavin was extra patient with me as he helped to customize my trip. This was not a package they had readily available but you would never have known that. Gavin was a great advisor and realist with my itinerary and helped me to obtain a realistic vacation experience. He recommended the safari camp, the number of days that I should stay in each location based on the time that I had available and he worked to schedule all my flights and activities. If that wasn’t enough, my friend decided to join for some of the vacation and he was able to accommodate her as well with no issues.

We had a slight misstep with South African Airways which was no fault of Wild Wings Safaris but totally SAA. I contacted Gavin and he was on top of it ASAP. He also was readily available throughout my vacation if I had any additional questions. He provided a very detail itinerary for each date of the vacation so I always knew what was up next. I simply purchased a one way ticket from Houston to Cape Town and Johannesburg back to Houston, he literally handled everything else. It was a magical vacation as he said it would be. I cannot say enough about this company. The customer service was phenomenal and the entire vacation was definitely a trip of a lifetime. Every day was very unique and exciting I would definitely recommend this company and would absolutely use again! Thank you very much Gavin for making this vacation more than I EVER expected.

Activities on this vacation:
Cape Town Activities: Cape Point Tour, Wine lands Tour, Robben Island, and Table Mountain- all 4 star
Timbavati Nature Reserve: Bateluer Camp- Great atmosphere, great staff and food! The trackers and drivers were simply amazing. Great accommodations. Saw 4 of the Big 5- no leopard for us…but the bush walk to see the Rhinos made up for it 
Johannesburg Activities: Cradle of Humankind and Johannesburg and Soweto tour- recommend all
Victoria Falls Activities: Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi, Helicopter ride over Victoria Falls, High Tea at Devils Pool (you can actually get in for pictures), Boma Dinner, Walking with the Giants (this is an interactive tour, we were able to touch the elephants and feed them), and a night game drive and bush dinner- highly recommend all activities
Zanzibar- Spice Farm Tour and Stone Town, also visited a local village and had beach time.

Excellent service again and another wonderful trip to South Africa
5/5

From the onset, Clare was excellent in her planning, tailoring her recommendations for lodges around our needs and prior experiences. She was always prompt in responding to our queries. Her final plan was just what we wanted...and more. This led to a fantastic 20 day trip round Greater Kruger.
We visited Ximongwe in Balalule (an eco camp with wonderful hosts, Ronell and Johan), Satara and skukhuza on the Wildwings four night safari, led by the irrepressible Nicky who found us a rich variety of game, Nottens in Sabi Sands ( perfect again!) and another camp new to us, Bataleur Safari Camp in Timbavati for three nights. This last camp, newly refurbished and recommended by Wildwings was a delight with guide Brad and his partner Sophia offering great guiding, food , sightings and a warm welcome.
Our private transfers, organised by Clare, were prompt and efficient in new vehicles with experienced drivers.
We could not have asked for more so many thanks to Wildwings.

Fantastic "5 Day Best of Kruger Safari"
5/5

Before the safari: The communications with Michael were easy, fast and accurate. The documents he sent us were detailed and clear.

During the safari: The whole safari (transportation, meals, accommodation, etc.) is very well organized. Our guide Simon was just great:
- He is passionate about Kruger Park and he gives us that passion.
- He is an encyclopedia regarding the wildlife of Kruger Park.
- He knows the park very well and does everything to show us as much as possible. In addition, when several cars come together to see a big cat, he is the first to react to bring the vehicle to the best place!
- He is friendly and cooks very well. We had very good breakfasts and the dinners were very pleasant and fun.

The night drive and the bush walk (face to face with two rhinos ...) were also great experiences.

Obviously, as Simon explained, it's not a zoo and nothing is guaranteed. However, we have seen a wide variety of animals near the vehicle (lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, warthogs, zebras, baboons, wild dogs, hyenas, wildbeests, buffaloes, impalas, antelopes, kudus, etc. .).

We highly recommend this safari!

Amazing experience start to finish
5/5

I'd never been on safari before, or visited South Africa, and had the opportunity given to me with about a weeks notice .. and Gavin at WildWings stepped up with what was an absolute perfect itinerary, lodge, and price. Communication was easy, and pleasant, and what I expected to be a stressful last-minute booking experience was not at all. The lodge (Kambuku) was wonderful - the managers Cathrine and Rino were an absolute pleasure, the food was lovely, and the atmosphere relaxed. Rooms were beautiful with large, hot showers and comfortable beds. The game drives themselves were out of this world. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the guide and tracker were knowledgeable and fun. It turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life, and I'm absolutely set on coming back to South Africa to experience it again and see more of the country. Thank you Wild Wings, and Gavin, for an amazing experience.

Fabulous Kruger Experience
5/5

Thank you so very much to Wild Wings Safaris for making our first trip to Kruger National Park a fantastic and memorable experience.
Our online booking experience was seamless, prices were very competitive, and most importantly the Safari itself was absolutely phenomenal. A huge thank you to our guide, Frank, for his expertise, humor, immense knowledge, and for sharing his passion for Kruger and its inhabitants with us. Our family of 4 from Canada cannot say enough about what an unforgettable safari we had. We will be back for sure, can’t wait to see you all again.
Cheers,
