A fun, stress-free experience dictated by you
My boyfriend and I booked 4-5 days of safaris, hiking, and general excursions with E-Trip. We went over Thanksgiving to do some touristy things before meeting up with friends who live in Dar, and had a lovely time. The best thing about E-Trip is the combination of experience and honesty. Ben and Aurelie are great people who are interested in serving their customers and the people of the countries they're visiting. E-Trip brings in experts in various fields to help develop local guides. Ben and Aurelie frequently do the same hikes/treks you do so that they properly tell you what to expect and help you evaluate all the options. They're also very accomodating. Our trip wasn't very complicated, but they've also done large parties of 20 or more, extreme adventurer trips, and they give each type of customer the same amount of attention whether you're staying in three star hotels or resorts.
On our safaris, the guides were knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. We saw a rhino in addition to lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos, etc. E-Trip provided binoculars (we didn't think to bring them), and a case full of books about the different flora and fauna of the region. The vehicles all had wifi as well, but we rarely needed to use it. All of the accommodations were clean, and staffed with welcoming, helpful folks.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend E-Trip. I only wish they organized trips in more locales so we could get their help with every trip.

Well organised and amazing value!
We had a one week Safari in Uganda. The entire experience was seamless, to the wonderful communication, great travel tips and instructions before we arrived and the quality of the accomodation. Each lodge was uniquely different and luxurious. As a family of four adults we were able to enjoy most of what Uganda had to offer and the itinerary was worked around my husbands "fear" of small planes! We had a driver/guide named David who made the safari all the more special by his wonderful sense of humour, his professionalism and his superb driving. It was a joy to be part of E-trip Africa and thanks to Ben and David for the incredible experience.

Once in a lifetime experience
We had an utterly amazing safari experience with E-Trip Africa in the Serengeti. We traveled with two children, ages 4 and 7, and my parents, who were in Africa for the first time. We had previously done safaris in Uganda, Kruger in South Africa and Akagera in Rwanda. Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater blew our minds and was worth the time and the expense. We were fortunate to see everything, including the Black Rhinos, and lots of baby lions, zebras, etc. While I realize seeing animals involves luck, especially when the rains are off their normal schedule, our guide expertly communicated with other guides and knew several common spots where the big five hang out from his past experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater enough for your safari. Lake Manyara is also a great stop when you are in the region.
E-Trip Africa went above and beyond at every point. Our kids are used to traveling and are good travelers, our guide Elisha was incredibly personable with them and with us. He had endless patience for the times they ran out of patience and had a number of fun games for them to play on our trip. The accommodations were lovely and the food was fantastic. We particularly loved the Karutu Simba Lodge, the Kiota Camp (the food was delicious for being in the middle of nowhere in the Serengeti) and the views of the Ngorongoro Sopa. I even left my watch at one of the hotels and E-Trip Africa worked with the lodge and through several logistical hoops to return the watch to me. I would recommend a trip with E-Trip Africa to anybody as they were truly fantastic.

Best Customer service I've ever experienced!
Ben was terrific! It was easy to book and every detail was handled perfectly. We went on safari in Tanzania and then to Zanzibar for beach and relaxation. In between, I left my pillow at a hotel and Ben went and picked it up from the hotel and met us at the airport so I would have it for flights home. Who would go out of their way like that? Our safari guide was the best part of our trip. He was excited, and interesting. The "tent" on safari made me feel like I was Meryl Streep in out of Africa because it was so luxurious. If you are planning a trip to Africa and want a personalized, well organized trip look no further! Going with our children ages 14yrs and 17yrs, safety was important too and I felt like eTrip Africa took care of us!

Fantastic experience
We went for the first time to Africa for safari. This was unforgettable experience. Everything was organized perfectly. Our only problem was if the thousands of pictures and videos that we took were in focus.
Our guide, Alladin was amazing. He not only showed us all the animals, but he fulfilled any of our requests like to take us to local market or Masai village etc. He patiently answered thousands of our questions and he made our trip so much better.
I would highly recommend E-Trip Africa.

Photography trip to Tanzania and Rwanda
E-Trip was the first and only travel company who replied to my enquiry about a trip to Tanzania and Rwanda, specifically dedicated for photography. Looking back, the other travel providers were all/mostly carrying tourists in their Land Rovers and Land Cruisers using their smart phones to take shots of the wildlife! I guess this does say something about E-Trip and their dedication to travellers who are interested in wildlife and nature photography.
About this topic: thanks to E-Trip I managed to capture some great shots which I added to my blog. A couple of articles and images can be found here:

Ben Jennings has been extremely helpful and friendly. He is very dedicated to his customers and will go the extra mile to make sure everything will go according expectations. A note to professional photographers: plan your trip carefully in relation to the African seasons; you may end up in a region that is either too dry or wet, so you may need to be prepared to make any changes to your itinerary.
On my next safari trip I'll make sure to join E-Trip again. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal - What made it phenomenal is the care of the tour driver - Alladin. We will never forget
Communications were very good; the staff at Zawadi were so caring and took care of all our needs, from the smallest request to the bigger ones. They made us feel at home like we were part of their families. It is very rare that I have experienced this kind of genuine care. It was honest, simple and very sincere. Alladin, the tour guide was fantastic, his knowledge level, dedication, and sincerity were exceptional. The person who is the pinnacle of humanity was the tour guide - Davis. Davis was our tour guide on our climb to Mount Kilimanjaro. I can write pages and page of how caring a human being he was. Davis, where you are - my family and will never forget you as long as we live. Ben, you have an excellent team. Keep up the great work of transparency, humility and care that was extended to us throughout our safari.

Amazing experience!
The Safari with E-Trip Africa was an incredible lifetime experience! The owners Ben and Aurelie communicated clearly and then lived up to their promises and our expectations. They were well in touch with our needs as tourists and the Tanzanian services which they coordinated. We chose the mid-range level, and were not disappointed. Accommodations as described: simple, clean and safe and meeting our needs. Food served in the camps was very good, and my dietary restrictions were well respected. Our driver David was beyond all expectations. He has 16 years experience as a guide and exudes enthusiasm and stories about the animals and the habitat, and was very attentive to our needs, even helping with our Internet and camera issues. He has a wonderful knowledge of nature and a keen eye for spotting animals. I could not recommend E-Trip, Ben, and David more highly.
