Best Safari Company!!!
5/5

We were a group of 19 physicians in a conference in Kenya and we were recommended by our friends and it was the best decision that we took. Zippy was so patient in dealing with us as kept on changing our mind but once we agreed on what we wanted to do she was so professional our guides were fantastic but many thanks to the staff of Osero Camp who made sure that our stay in Mara was memorable. Thank you to every one!!! God Bless you all!!

most superb safari of my life!
5/5

I never knew this safari was going to be so superb and thought it would be a safari like any other. My brother and i had an great experience right from being picked up from the airport the way the chauffeur talked to excellent he was a good communicator. On getting to the hotel where we had booked one room with two beds the place was cool the king size beds. The best thing about the hotel was the view of the sunset and the mountains from the balcony, this made us feel the nature . we took snaps of the sunset and sunrise and sent them to our friends who wished that they had joined us.In the morning there nice buffet for an heavy breakfast . The most amazing part was on the tour itself got to see wild animals that i only heard about in and had seen in the movies like the lions. after the safari my brother forgot his wallet in the tour van and immediately he was called through the rooms phone and got back his wallet and nothing was missing from his wallet .Awesome safari it was .....what a feeling.

Blown away by the top notch quality. AMAZING!
5/5

This Safari was just unreal! I knew it was going to be good but I had no idea it would be this amazing.

-Accommodations: All of the accommodations they provided for us made us feel like royalty. The sun lodge was absolutely stunning and right on the Lake Elementaita! It was breathtaking! The views from the room were something you'd expect to see on Price Harrys Instagram. The tented camp was great! It even had a full bathroom and tub! We didn't have much time to use it as we were full blown on the safari. The service from all of these locations was above and beyond. I've never had more polite and consistent service anywhere. The accommodations provided were far more amazing than I could had imagined.

-Safari service: Top notch as everything else. They picked me up from the airport (Even though I was late and it sucked for them) and they picked up my girlfriend who arrived the next day. The nice woman helping you (Zippy I believe) is so friendly and welcoming. The driver takes you to your location and makes any stops you need along the way. It was really great service.

-The Safari and our guide: First off, they upgraded our jeep which was really nice of them. The jeep was your cliche safari vehicle. 4x4, big, roof that pops open and a giant radio the safari guide uses to keep in touch with everyone who sees some cool animals so you can meet up and check them out too! Our guide Simon was awesome. I'm very glad the tour gave us his services because he was experienced and was prepared for any situation. He had perfect english and was a treat to talk to as he would share his knowledge on the animals, their tendencies and his expert eye on spotting them. We saw the big 5 and just about every animal around in Maasi Mara! He was able to get us up close, take a bunch of photos and like the driver from the airport, makes any stops you need along the way. He was a top notch gentleman who also made you feel like you had a bodyguard 24/7. He was always dressed in a uniform too from the company and it all just was so professional the entire way. I can't say enough good things about Simon, he was there to make sure we had the best experience possible and we did. Simon, You're the best!

Overall: Well, I'd get on this tour before they start charging more money. I was blown away by what you get. I know for some the tour may seem pricey, but you get what you pay for and in my opinion, more. All the meals were included (they were all amazing meals), the accommodation is included (also unreal), the service for 4 days of a safari was like no other and they even pick you up from the airport. There is an optional Balloon ride for $450 usd a person. It is also worth it. 1 hour balloon ride, amazing views and it ends with a champagne buffet breakfast (With everything, they even take your requests for eggs and cook them in front of you) in the middle of the game reserve. They even had mimosas and screwdrivers! Unreal!

Going in, I figured the safari was going to be good, but I still can't believe how perfect it ended up.

Thanks again for an amazing experience, It was something I will never forget.

-Jared

Amazing service
5/5

I cannot speak highly enough of Australken, they were so responsive to any questions before we left and then when we arrived we were looked after so well. Our tour guide Anthony was excellent and managed to show us the "big five" on our safari.

On top of this before we went I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and so I emailed Zippy from Australken and she was amazing, she helped me arrange the entire thing and got onto our hotel and got everyone in on the surprise. The result was her arranging for us to be taken to sunset point where I was able to propose and the hotel had set up a campfire and door and a table and chairs for us. To top it off they got the local Massai tribe to come up as well to joing in the celebrations and they performed a dance dor us. The whole thing was beyond anything we could have imagined and i could not have done it without Zippy's help.

It also has to be said the whole trip offered fantastic value for money and along with such a personal service I would rate this as easily one of the best safari providers. Zippy even got us an engagement present!! 10/10

Awesome 4 days private safari in Kenya
5/5

Our private safari with Australken was an amazing experience. We went to the Hell's gate, lake Navasha and then Masai Mara.
During our trip organisation Zippy was very helpful, she did everything so that we could have the safari we wanted. We felt safe going on a safari even though we are two young women.
During the safari, Simon was a super guide. He knew a lot about the wildlife and took good care of us. We manage to see many animals and he was able to find even the most difficult ones like elephants hiding during the great migration of gnus, and many lions.
I highly recommand this tour operator and especially their private safaris!

Amazing experience with the most knowledgeable people!
5/5

My wife and I booked a week and a half excursion all over Kenya with Australken. It took a little back and forth to really customize our trip, but Zippy was able to adjust everything to exactly how we wanted, despite us asking for quite a bit, and at a very reasonable price too! Leading up to departure, Zippy was very helpful. She guided us on what we should do in preparation, what others have done, and threw in tips here and there on what stuff to bring. Once we actually landed, the experience was smooth, it was clear that this wasn't some janky operation. Everyone at Australken knew what they were doing, and had been doing it a long time. We visited several places all over Kenya, the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, and more. Our primary driver, Simon, had such vast knowledge about all of the animals, and he knew how to drive our private Land Rover very well. We got up very close to Lions, others couldn't reach the area we were in due to their vehicle. Aside from multiple lions, we saw plenty of rhinos, giraffes, water buffalo, wildebeasts, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, elephants, baboons, crocodiles, impalas, warthogs, jackals, waterbucks, and more. For me and my wife who love animals, this was 10/10. We ended our stay in Kenya with a beach hangout at Diani Beach. Diani Beach has a lot to offer to couples and just people in general, it has a really nice view, and going into town from there, there are a lot of small shops you can get things for cheap. $0.20 to a tuk-tuk will get you a decent distance. We also spent some time in Mombasa before our flight, which was a very very cool place, culturally. Fort Jesus was one of the most interesting pieces of history in Old Town. I recommend you visit.
Overall, Australken was professional, gave us room to customize whatever we wished, and was the right price for me and my wife to experience the greatness that Kenya has to offer. I would recommend them to anyone!
