Liselle was amazing she planned us the perfect South African safari.
Our flights were smooth and transportation was on time to and from Klaserie Sands River Camp which was also absolutely perfect, the staff and the accommodations and of course the animals it was a dream come true an unforgettable experience! All payment transactions were smooth and easy as well.
Liselle took into account all of our wishlist and set us up at the perfect small but beautiful lodge for our time safari.
She was so patient helping me with the millions of questions I had over the last year! Needless to say I will definitely come back to sun safaris for any future safaris and will be recommending them to my friends and family.

Beyond the highest of expectations
Initially we were determined to self-book the entirety of the Safari trip as first time travelers to SA and first time safari experience. The available websites are informative but they do not come close to the wealth of information and convenience provided by our booking agent Natasha Allen. She found us an experience within our budget and matched to our appetite and even provided us with a number of options. She was never pushy and always helpful.
We attended 2 safaris, the first more rustic, the second in a lodge. Both had their own attributes that were very pleasing and we will definitely be returning once again. We saw all the wildlife we hoped to see and we felt that the experience was authentic with rangers and staff all being residents of the area.

Fabulous safari adventure in Botswana.
This trip was the seventh that Sun Safaris has organized for us and again we were not disappointed. Natasha Allan gave us plenty of options for Botswana and we chose 3 camps run by Desert and Delta. The first for 4 nights was Savute Safari Camp which we have visited many times before and is our firm favourite anywhere. Natasha made sure we booked the best cabin by the water hole, definitely recommended. Next we flew to Camp Xakanaxa in the Moremi reserve. The camp was our first time there although we know the area from previous trips. Beautiful scenery and great game sights, especially the wild dogs. The best part of Xakanaxa is their resident hippo, Oscar, who wanders round the grounds to everyone's delight. The last camp was in the Magkadigkadi region, south from the Delta and a completely new area to us. Camp La Roo Latau has beautiful cabins high on the escarpment of the Boteti River, surrounded by semi arid desert. The game is not as dense as the Delta but never the less is full of extraordinary sights. The optional full day drive to the Nxai Pans is recommended despite being quite arduous - the water hole at the pan is magnificent as are the Baines Baobabs nearby.
Natasha not only booked our camps but also all connecting flights including from Johannesburg to Botswana and back. Everything went flawlessly and we could not be happier with the arrangements. Natasha also helped us with the booking of our further driving trip around KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. Her suggestion of Rhino Ridge Lodge in the Hluhluwe Park was wonderful - one of the most luxurious places I have stayed in.

Stress free
I would normally have booked our accommodation direct but our trip to Roam Private Game Reserve was Organised by Natasha at SunSafaris. I found Natasha very responsive and professional. She was quick to respond to questions and proactive in asking after us following our visit. I would certainly recommend working with Natasha and visiting Roam for a 2 or 3 night Karoo experience.

ABSOLUTELY THE PERFECT CHOICE TO HELP US PLAN OUR FIRST SAFARI
My wife and I, along with two dear friends chose Sun Safari to help us plan our first safari and our first trips to Africa. Michelle did an incredible job guiding us through the process and selecting all of the accommodations. We gave her a budget and some ideas of what we wanted and she took care of the rest. We couldn't be happier with the service, communications, planning and logistics that Sun Safaris provided. The trip far exceeded our expectations and we would happily work with Sun Safaris again.

Once again, a great trip thanks to Sun safaris and Natasha
This year we planned our trip in South Africa quite lately (July for September) but, thanks to her efficiency Natasha was able to respond to our questions and requests and organize the trip fitting our budget. We stayed in 3 lodges, all different, very comfortable with excellent locations and very nice staffs. However we have a preference for Honeyguide due to its authenticity (to see many animals, including elephants, a few steps away from our tent was quite unusual…). Except at Bushwa game reserve which have very few animals, game drives in Klaserie Private Reserve and in Manyaleti Game Reserve, were quite exciting. In these 2 reserves, we enjoyed competent and very professional guides who gave us the chance to see all animals that we were expecting (except wild dogs). Furthermore, at Honeyguide Khoka Moya to cross animals, including elephants, by going to our tent or to the restaurant is an experience which we shall remember. Once again we are back home with very good memories thanks to Sun Safaris.

Michelle, once again, exceeded all of our expectations on our latest safari to Kenya!
Michell and Natasha were always in communication with us making sure that we had everything to our satisfaction. One great example was when we asked our guide if we could change our hotel on our return to Nairobi. I was 100% expecting and willing to call and ask for the change and charge us the price difference. By the time I had the request out of my mouth the guide Paul had sent Michelle a message and she made all of the changes without any issues. Since we have worked with Michelle in the past, she remembered all of the little details about the lodges we like and prefer. She managed to get us a private vehicle and guide for the entire time for less money than we anticipated for a semi shared. Each location had its own unique features and landscape/wildlife. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. We are already thinking about where we can ask Michelle and the Sun Safaris team to plan for us next (probably Madagascar and the Seychelles). Thank you again for your all of your dedication to all of the fine details! You have more than exceeded all of our expectations (and you have made our expectations pretty high after your past itineraries). I would ask say that Paul (our guide) was excellent. He was so easy going and would incorporate things into our itinerary based upon things we would talk about on our drives. I would enjoy to spend more time with him again in future visits to Kenya.

Michelle gave us the experience of a lifetime; I hope to repeat it in the future!
Michelle was wonderful to work with, responsive to our needs and preferences, and booked us a trip that fulfilled our expectations and beyond. We had a week in Cape Town, before we went on safari, and Michelle even thought to include little things, like "do we want to be picked up at the airport and taken to our condo? and back to the airport after the week is up?" which was not a part of the trip that she was involved in booking. Why, yes we do! Thank you very much.
We had wonderful camps, great accommodations, excellent food, and the friendliness of the staff everywhere was beyond our expectations. Our trackers and rangers were very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Our transfers were on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and also entertaining. We enjoyed every moment, and hope to be going back for more in the not-too-distant future. I highly recommend Sun Safaris, and Michelle in particular, to everyone who mentions they want to go on such a journey.

Incredible experience
We returned from our honeymoon in Botswana. I wanted to let you know that it was a truly wonderful experience. We were so impressed with the camps we stayed at and the overall quality of the whole experience.
Sango Safari Camp - an incredibly cozy, welcoming and personable camp with some of the most hospitable people we met. Incredible drives and mokoro safaris which were great. The food was really good. The tent was clean and lovely. We had great sightings and would highly recommend this camp.
Hyena Pan - Beautiful camp with great food. Tent was well appointed. It was a bit more remote than the Sango camp but was great. The guides we had were great too.
Savute under canvas - Such a great mobile tenting experience with lovely staff and probably the best guide we had (Dips) who always got us to the best place to vivew the action. We had amazing food here and how they put up the tent every 5 days is amazing. Probably our best sightings were in Savute including cheetahs and hunting wild dogs.
Flights were also great. Nice 12-seater planes and they always knew where we were supposed to go and the transfers were incredibly smooth.
Liselle was extremely helpful and obliging and always willing to help with a great deal of useful information prior to the tour. Was a pleasure working with Liselle to arrange this excellent tour of Botswana's Okavango Delta and Savute NP.

Sun Safaris has provided us with excellent service for two safaris in Africa.
Natasha with Sun Safaris was excellent when assisting my wife and me prepare our recent trip to Botswana. She helped us select two wonderful lodges that delivered all the experiences we had hoped for during this holiday. Natasha also helped us plan a great trip to the Kruger area during 2013, and she helped some of our family members plan a successful safari holiday during 2017. We hope to work with her again for any future travel to Africa.
