Amazing family experience
An amazing family experience that that was perfectly organised and planned by Natasha. Her communication and assistance was first class. The accommodation and activities organised were exactly what we asked for and that was a real African experience. Travelling through South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana was made easy by our well planned trip and very helpful and friendly people assisting us on the way. The people were so caring and could not have been more helpful. For a family Lawhill in Cape Town and Honeyguide in Kruger could have not been better. Bakwena Lodge in Chobe was an amazing place with lovely ladies always making you feel at home. An overall fantastic trip, thank-you Natasha for your great preparation.

Tanzanian safari was nothing short of spectacular!
We have used Sun Safaris in the past and have never been disappointed. Natasha was meticulous in helping us plan and coordinate our Tanzanian safari which included Americans and British groups rendezvousing in Kilimanjaro. We loved the accommodations at Gibbs Farm near Arusha and had the most amazing experience at the Asilia group’s Ubuntu camp in the Western Serengeti. It is a mobile camp that follows the Migration and it did not disappoint.
We will definitely be back!!

Luxurious accommodations, great service throughout, spectacular wildlife... the trip of a lifetime.
My son planned this trip with him and his wife as a gift for my 70th birthday. It was a dream vacation from start to finish. Liselle at Sun Safaris took all our tastes, needs and wishes into account very thoughtfully in designing our itinerary with three nights at Klaserie Sands and four nights at Arathusa. Both lodges were luxurious but unpretentious with stunning vistas, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, delicious food and simply amazing safaris. The wildlife guides and trackers in both locations were outstanding. We saw "the big five" within our first 24 hours and over the course of a week saw roughly 50 species of animals (including all three big cats and some rarely-sighted smaller animals like genets, honey badgers, jackals) and 70 species of birds, with multiple sightings of all creatures, many quite up close, many with babies...it was simply spectacular and very moving. We enjoyed every minute of the experience and were completely satisfied with the service we received. Additionally, the whole trip, including safari rides on rough terrain, was easily manageable for a relatively fit 70 year old.---A couple of further points of information for travelers: 1) mid-June in Kruger is winter and temperatures in the pre-dawn and nighttime hours get cold enough for a down jacket, gloves and hat especially when riding in an open safari vehicle; 2) Although both our lodges had some intermittent WiFi, guests should realize that cell service is essentially nonexistent in the Kruger wilderness and that internet connection is spotty at best, so one should be prepared to be offline.

My family and I go on safari annually, and have consistently contracted Sun Safaris to assist whenever we head to Southern Africa. The fact that we are repeat clients indicate the level professionalism and insider knowledge that Natasha and the team at Sun Safaris have of the region.
Our most recent trip was to celebrate my wedding, and we elected to do 5 nights in Mana Pools, with camps in the African Bush Camps portfolio with their recommendation. What a stupendous Safari we had! Truly remarkable and with enough picturesque moments to fill our wedding album.
Natasha was responsive throughout the entire booking process, and even helped us with upgrades to the honeymoon suites in one camp, and a more exclusive family style camp in the other.
We know to trust the opinions offered - the last trip we took was to celebrate my brother’s wedding to Botswana and that trip still remains high on our list of most memorable Safari moments.

Liselle, just a quick note to let you know how much my wife and I enjoyed staying at Makumu Lodge and your recommendation for this place. We have stayed at many different places over the years, but I can assure you this tops all other. It was absolutely fantastic, 5 star in every respect, and I can highly recommend this place to any other clients you may have. They will not be disappointed.
It is a small all inclusive luxury boutique lodge in a complete private setting. The safari game drives were excellent. The Zulu king bed suite was amazing. And the food-----:-) and the company during breakfasts and dinners with the managers, and owner on the last day….it made us feel more like family members than guests. I really can’t say enough about it.
Thanks for putting us into this lodge!! Great experience and the best we had on our 4 weeks travels in Africa. We will certainly be in touch on our next trip, and recommend you to our friends as well!

Excellent communication and service
Natasha assisted me and my two friends, with planning a short visit to the Timbavati and Sabi Sands Reserves near Kruger National Park. She was an excellent communicator, answering queries and general emails quickly and with all the information we needed to plan our trip. From the first contact with Natasha until our trip was booked the process was tailored to my needs. Natasha listened to what I wanted from our safari experience and made suggestions and provided options so we could tailor the trip to meet our needs. What a relief to have had Natasha help us from start to finish. Truly a star. To highlight key points:
1. Very considered and thoughtful approach. I went back and forth with Natasha over dates, price range, and general 'experience' we desired to find our lodge. We cycled through 3-four before finding the right one
2. Natasha thought about all the things we didn't think of such as transport to the lodge, food allergies etc. She then checked in periodically to make sure everything was on track. It allowed me to feel comfortable and relieved that the trip was soundly planned

Great service and planned an AMAZING trip for us!
Friends recommended Sun Safaris, so I reached out to them back in 2018. From the first communication with Michelle, I was already pleased with them. Out of all the agencies I reached out to, they were the quickest to respond with tons of helpful information and questions to further understand what we were looking for. They even provided itinerary examples from he beginning, which really helped to understand how the trip would work.
From there, Michelle was great at answering ALL my questions (I had many), and really guiding me through the process. She made it so easy, and offered many options for what we were looking for.
We booked the trip in 2018, and just got back from a 7-night Safari trip in Botswana....and it was INCREDIBLE! The camps were great, the services was amazing, the game viewing was better than we expected, and we just absolutely loved it. Everything was so well coordinated, and if we do another safari trip again (which we probably will), we would definitely use Sun Safaris again.
