Beyond my wildest dreams!
What can I say other than John Peter is the very best! I typically do not work through tour agents but I was traveling solo and was needing extra support given all the options. Working with John Peter and African Paradise Safaris was the wisest and best decision I ever made! John Peter always got back to me with a day and went above and beyond to help me connect the dots on all my travel questions and concerns. I felt like I had a true friend supporting me and answering all my questions and providing realistic options based on my budget. So grateful, and can't say enough about the wonderful communications and how they far exceeded my expectations.

Great trip with great service
Our 14 days Kenya-Tanzania Safari Tour organized by African Paradise Safaris was great and unforgettable!
The itinerary prepared by John Peter for our family trip is so completed. We did enjoy very much!
We had the best guides and drivers: Isa and Salomon. They took care of us and handled everything with care. They are very professional.
They are the ambassadors of Kenya and Tanzania.
Isa and Salomon know all the parks by memory, they brought us to see every animal. We saw National Geographic for real during the game drives.
We recommend their service to everyone!

The Serengeti is worth every minute and Ngorongoro crater does not disappoint!
We loved our Tanzania tour! What an amazing experience and trip full of so much wildlife! I have been on safari in the Mara in Kenya and in Botswana and this was easily the best. The Serengeti did not disappoint; we saw four of the big five there and survived staying in our tented camp (which was really cool—and scary--to be so close to the animals). We ate lunch with giraffes one day and hippos another. Our guide Frank was very easy to get to know and incredibly knowledgable about the animal activity. We were also really impressed with Ngorongoro crater. It is amazing how many ecosystems are in such a close space. We were able to see rhino to round out the big five and even more of the wildlife that we’d seen before. We would recommend that you all put the amount of time spent in the car each day on the itinerary which would have helped us plan our flights a little bit better. Additionally, it was kind of confusing why the people we met directly never had the APS logo on their car or shirts; it worked out but just an area for improvement. The car was super comfortable and we always had plenty of water. On the way back to Arusha, we even got a remote shopping experience in a wood carving shop which was also really impressive. We would recommend Frank, Jacob, you and African Paradise Safaris to any and all. Thank you for a great holiday.

‘The safari experience was memorable!’ ‘Just spent the most amazing week on Safari with African Para
Well organised and the opportunity to see lots of different wildlife and scenery. Saw loads of lions, a leopard on day 1, cheetahs, chased by hippos, and the amazing migration which has to be seen to be believed. Special shout out to our guide Isa who was absolutely awesome. Nothing was too much trouble and he looked after us all so well and ensured we always got prime position for seeing all the animals. Would definitely do again and would insist on Isa as my guide!’

A Wonderful Trip!
My family booked a 10 day trip (6 days safari in Tanzania and 4 days in zanzibar) with African Paradise Safaris.
John Peter who served us throughout booking was not only extremely efficient in communicating but also answered all of our questions and catered for the fine details/requests of our trip. It was a pleasure working with John Peter to organise the trip. He also provided recommendations on places to stay if anyone requires this service, however we had done our own research and he was happy to accommodate the places we had chosen in our package. I had received quotes from a number of companies but some operators were unable to adhere to certain requests. African Paradise were able to offer us the best package inclusive of everything.
The trip itself was excellent, especially the safari. Our driver Frank was a good guide and knew the national parks inside out and where to look for certain game. Where he could improve is being more efficient, for example in driving...I'm not sure if there was a problem with his car but he seemed a little slower than other vehicles.
Otherwise there are not many areas I can think of where African Paradise can improve on their service. I did see many open vehicles on safari which looked really nice so maybe this could be an option in the future, even though the closed vehicles are more than adequate.
Overall, we had a great time and I would highly recommend using African Paradise Safaris.

The Tour was outstanding great Service
Personalized service – 10 day Kenya Wildlife tour and Mombasa beach holiday
I contacted John Peter of African Paradise safaris when I had 25 passengers from Pakistan travelling to Kenya; I had to accompany my clients to Kenya as a tour leader. John Peter responds promptly to all my inquiries. He had everything organized and ready for our clients. During our visit to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Mombasa beach all people were very nice. Every client went home satisfied and happy for the work well done. The cost was very competitive as compared to other the companies. The Safari Guides were very informative and patients. As you know organizing and making all travellers so happy and jovial in a big group is very difficult African Paradise Safaris did it. Thank you African Paradise Safaris and your team.

Do not do business with African Paradise Safaris
I bought a 7-day 6-night group safaris from African Paradise Safaris. It turned out there was no such safaris.
They subcontracted my safaris to Africa Natural Safaris, which does not have a license to operate. I was shuffled between 4 different safaris groups in seven days. It was a disaster. Do not do business with this company

Posted on Jun 18, 2018Dear Mr Adam,
Thank you very much for the review. I apologies for not meeting your safari expectation.
When you wrote to me in regards to the service. Yes I advised you that I sub contracted Africa Natural safaris. One thing in Tanzania - If you are not registered tour operator your vehicle cannot entered National parks. So the Africa Natural Safaris is a registered tour operator.
You mentioned well that the tour was good and the problem was breakdown of communication. In budget joining tour, some time you might join 2 or more groups going in the same area.
Initially remember the package I sent to you, you were to do 2 nights in Serengeti but when Geoffrey came to take collect the payment. You changed and stated you want a tour which will have 3 nights in Serengeti. And it was few hour (less than 15hrs) to the departure time. Now we had to joining you to the group you had requested initially, And because we had another group extending in Serengeti we joined you to the other group - so that we can satisfy you staying 3 nights in Serengeti National Park.
You changing the program last minute when company representative is collecting the payment, made everything out of order. In which the services was provided, the problem was joined in several group which was a result of you changing the program, less than 15 hour to the departure time.
I listen to your dissatisfaction and we refunded you all the profit we made for your package- which was delivered by Jacob under my instruction.

Cheap but Unorganized!
First off I would recommend this company but only because it is extra cheap for the same vacation you would get with a safari company that charged double. You must be aware that regardless of what budget company you use, you will not be going on safaris with this company rather you are joining groups of others going to the same location as you aware temporarily. Example: I was picked up at the airport and taken to a hotel where I thought I was joining my tour but the group that picked me up didn't share my whole itinerary only the next two days and then i was shuttled to join a group sharing my next two days. Every other day I had to worry that I would actually be sticking to my itinerary African Paradise Safaris sent me. Of course that didn't happen. I booked Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli with solo lodging and a lot of afternoon game drives..instead they took me to Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru where I had to share a room and ended up with morning drives and really long drives to the next location following the drive. Maasai Mara to Amboseli ended up being 12 hours in the car just to transit. My itinerary included a Maasai Village tour with no additional fee..I was asked to pay $10. The tour guide called African Paradise Safaris and they declined to pay for it at first. Great to see the animals but it did not feel like a vacation.
