Wonderful experience!
5/5

My two friends and I booked excursions through Afrishare solutions and had an absolutely wonderful time! They came as a recommendation from a friend and I will be the first to pass along the good word as well! Ibrah was very helpful during the booking process, suggesting itineraries for the amount of time we had and what we wanted to see before we got to Africa. He was extremely responsive in this process, which made booking a seamless transaction. While on the safari, the guides were very knowledgeable, really engaging and fun to talk to! They knew great driving routes to maximize the amount of wildlife we could see, which made the three days go be too quickly. We decided to do a day hike on Mt. Kilamanjaro the night before and Ibrah was able to turn it around for an early morning departure in just a few hours. The service at Afrishare solutions is wonderful, and I highly recommend booking with them. To the staff, thank you for making our trip a truly unforgettable experience!

Afrishare is Amazing!
5/5

I volunteered in Tanzania in 2012 and lived at Afrishare for 6 months. I felt immediately at home. The family is wonderful, kind and funny. They will totally spoil you. The food is amazing. I rarely eat out because I have not found African food anywhere else that compares. Afrishare has a wide variety of volunteer placement opportunities, which will expose you to life in Tanzania. I have also taken several trips through Afrishare in both 2012 and 2014. Each one has been professional and well-organized. There are many choices and you can learn so much about the people and culture. I strongly recommend Afrishare because their accommodations are great, the trips are spectacular and the volunteer placements are so varied and meaningful.

Kilimanjaro climb and safari
5/5

I would absolutely recommend Afrishare! Ibrah, the owner, organized the most unforgettable trip for my friends and I. We started off with a safari to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. I couldn't believe all the animals we saw. Elephants were standing right next to our jeep and I couldn't even count all the giraffes, hippos, lions and warthogs we saw. I was nervous about the Kilimanjaro climb but Ibrah put me at ease. He made sure everything went smoothly and I was packed with all the items I needed for the climb. Kilimanjaro was challenging but an awesome experience. I was so impressed that I have recommended a few of my friends book their safari's and climbs through Afrishare.

Fantastic Safari
5/5

My safari experience with Afrishare is hard to put into words. My safari was a five day trip that included both Ngorongoro and Serengeti as well as a great experience with a local Masai tribe. It was a wonderful experience that included seeing cheetahs, leopards, and lions due to our great guide along with delicious meals prepared by our cook. One of the highlights of my trip was camping out on the edge of Ngorongoro crater that was topped of by a friendly visit from a wild elephant during supper time. I would absolutely recommend Afrishare Safari's to anyone who is hoping to experience a great experience with no speed bumps.

Best Kili trek
5/5

We had a fantastic 6 day (5 night) trek via the Marangu route with Afrishare. The guides, Tino and Kija were absolutely fantastic. They went a perfect pace up for us and let us lead the pace down. They always looked out for us and helped us successfully make it to the peak. We couldn't have asked for better guides, cook or porters. The only feedback we had was that we rented equipment (sleeping bags, rain pants and winter jackets) and the rain pants were completely ripped by the end and the sleeping bags weren't the best quality for the cold weather. If at all possible (and Ibrahim recommends this) bring your own gear or double check all rental items. Other than that we would recommended Afrishare if you want a successful Kili climb and have guides that really care! Furthermore the value of service for the cost is hard to beat. Ibrahim the owner always communicated back and answered all questions, great guy. We all met prior to accepting the offer, went over all trek details, what was included and any gear that was missing. We were glad to have the gear rentals for the summit day. Ibrahim also advised on any tipping guidelines before setting off, instead of the guides pestering us with it. We saw many guides do this, not ours. Perfect management, great team, no surprises. Anyone looking for a budget trek without sacrificing quality - go with Afrishare.

The time of my life!
5/5

Afrishare was a reliable, friendly and value-for-money company for safari. I went with a group of 5 in an open-top Safari vehicle on a three day trip to - Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro Crater and the Tarangire National Park. Ibrahim (the manager) was exceptionally friendly and easy to talk to. It was very easy to organise a fabulous trip and at fairly short notice. Our tour guide, Freddie was a lovely chap and exceptionally informative about the animals, knowing exactly where to take us to in order to get the most out of our three day safari - so much so that we were able to see all of the BIG FIVE! Afrishare chose a wonderful camp site for two nights to stay at, which was not too far away from any of the National Parks. We had beautiful meals and we able to meet other people keen to share their safari stories. We even had the opportunity to talk to and dance with a small Masai community on our day to the Ngorogoro Crater, which was a once in a lifetime activity. Overall I would highly recommend Afrishare to anybody who was thinking of going on Safari, it was my favourite activity in Tanzania, and at a reasonable price too.

Unforgettable memories
5/5

Afrishare Trekking & Safaris should be your first choice while choosing a company to do either a safari or a kilimanjaro climbing in northern Tanzania.
The kindness and the availability to provide help of Ibrahim are fantastic...I arrived on Friday and they came to pick me up at the airport; Ibrah's nephew, Aziz, went with me along Moshi's town, just to let me feel comfortable, it was amazing.
The accomodation hostel is so nice, the food amazing, everyone try to help you.
The safari was very nice despite the short lasting (just two days).
I will go back there either for a safari or for a volunteer programme (Afrishare solutions); however, I will recommend of course to all this company!
Asante sana na tuta onana tena!!!!!

Kilimanjaro and Incredible Wildlife
5/5

My trip to Tanzania, with the help of Afrishare Trekking and Safari, was a trip of a lifetime. Communications with the company were also very prompt. Given the time zone differences, I'm not sure they ever sleep. My guide on the Kilimanjaro climb kept me walking at a pace that put me on top with normal breathing, and I was celebrating my 70th birthday with the trek. The food was delicious and my only complaint was there was more than I could eat. You won't starve on the climb. Seeing the sun rise over Africa is a special memory. Afrishare also set up a 10-day safari for me and it was magnificent. I grew up watching Marlin Perkins on Wild Kingdom. To be on the Serengeti and to see Ngorongoro Crater was a dream come true. My driver/guide on the safari was knowledgeable and got me to all the best places to observe the wildlife. Most folks talk about the big five, but we saw an incredible variety of wildlife from birds with unbelievable plumage to pythons and crocodiles to a lion kill. No doubt in my mind, Afrishare provides a wonderful and unforgettable experience. You won't be disappointed.

Kilimanjaro and Safari
5/5

The Safari and Kilimanjaro hike was even better than I expected. Ibrah was extremely accomadating and made sure that everything went to plan. On our Kilimanjaro Hike, the Guides were extremely experienced each having summited more than 60 times, and it showed. They knew exactly what they were doing and all of our group got to the top. The safari was Great as well, Fred, our driver was amazing. He knew exactly where to find the Animals and we saw nearly everything we wanted to see, Cheetahs, Lions, Monkeys, Hippos, etc. We were very happy with our experience.

A precious experience!
5/5

The Safari tour with Afrishare was one of the most memorable experience for me. I went to 3 days Safari tour in May with my friend. Although we booked the tour a week before departure, Ibrah, the owner of this wonderful organisation, arranged the accommodations, a driver etc. perfectly for us. We stayed at Afrishare's volunteer house on the day we arrived at Moshi and the day we got back from Safaris. They provided us a nice room as well as great meals. In the tour, we visited three National Parks: Lake Manyara; Ngorongoro; and Tarangire. Each of the parks gives you different impressions, and you will not get bored at all! Our driver took care of us all the time in spite of long drive, and he taught us many things about the Maasai cultures, wild animals and so on. We stayed at a lodge near Safari which was also comfortable with delicious meals.
Afrishare gave us an amazing experience with surprisingly cheap price and I would definitely recommend Afrishare for all the people seeking to visit Tanzania for Safaris!
