Adventure of a lifetime
Raymond provided us with an unforgettable safari experience! We visited during calving season so we got to see lots of baby animals! We enjoyed every moment of our 7 day safari from:
1. The Chase: Raymond will do all he can to get you to see as many animals as possible, while sharing his extensive knowledge on each animal. Don’t worry, Raymond is a very safe and experienced driver!
2. The People: We met some of the most kind, incredible and resilient people along our journey (including Raymond!). It was amazing to share cultural experiences and learn about the lives of not only locals, but also of the people in different tribes that you will get to visit.
3. The Food and drink: This thoroughly surprised us! We were spoiled with freshly cooked meals everyday, even on game drives. The Jeep also came fully loaded with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

From the very first day Raymond picked us up, he was more than just a guide—he became like a big brother and a true friend. His warmth, kindness, and genuine care made our personalised 7-day safari in Tanzania an experience we will cherish for a lifetime. Raymond’s extensive knowledge, patience, and passion for the wildlife and culture of Tanzania shone through every moment of our journey.
We explored the breathtaking landscapes of Tarangire National Park, the vast plains of the Southern Serengeti, the stunning Ngorongoro Highlands and Crater, and the serene beauty of Lake Eyasi. Raymond’s expertise led us to witness an incredible array of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and so many more. In total, we saw over 40 different animals and countless birds, including majestic eagles. Each sighting was accompanied by Raymond’s insightful commentary, which deepened our appreciation for the natural world.
We also got a birds eye view of the serengeti from an unforgettable ride in a hot air balloon.
Hot, fresh meals were provided daily along with unlimited beverages onboard the jeep. The accommodations were also fantastic, and was the perfect balance of providing a true sense of being immersed in a real life safari, along with the comfort of modern day living. This can be tailored according to your budget, and personal preferences.
One of the most memorable aspects of our safari was the opportunity to meet and interact with local tribes, including the Maasai, Hadzabe, and Datoga people. Raymond facilitated these encounters with respect and care, allowing us to learn about their traditions, way of life, and the challenges they face. These interactions were humbling and eye-opening, adding a rich cultural dimension to our adventure.
Throughout the trip, Raymond’s driving skills ensured we always felt safe, even on the most rugged terrain. But beyond his professionalism, it was his ability to connect with us on a personal level that truly set him apart. We shared conversations about life, cultural differences and similarities, societal pressures, our goals for the future, and what truly brings us happiness. These discussions made the journey not just a safari, but a deeply meaningful and transformative experience.

The Best Safari Company in Tanzania!
Our safari with Raymond African Safaris was truly one of the very best experiences of our lives!
My husband and I and two of our teenage daughters embarked on a three day Tanzanian safari with Raymond in July. We flew from Arusha to Seronera Airstrip and were met by Raymond to begin our journey through Serengeti National Park and onto Ngorongoro Conservation Area. At all times throughout our journey we felt safe, welcome, and well-informed.
Raymond is extremely knowledgable about the animals, the geology, and the local culture and this was a real highlight, as we had loads of observations and questions that Raymond was very happy to answer and elaborate upon. He made sure we saw as much as we could and that we had as much time as we wanted/needed to admire all the awe-inspiring sights and sounds. The landscape was spectacular as we traveled around the Serengeti and through the Ngorongoro Crater over the course of our safari. We saw the 'Big Five' and countless birds and animals in their natural habitat. Raymond prepared delicious lunches to enjoy in the wilderness and our lodges were spectacular.
On top of Raymond's expertise on safari, he is also an excellent driver. We felt safe with him behind the wheel at all times. The safari vehicle was well-equipped and comfortable.
We give Raymond's African Safaris 5/5 stars! Excellent value for money and highly recommended!

Perfect safari guide you would’ve dreamed of. Best travel experience they have provided.
We spent seven days with Raymond this past December, and it was by far the best travel experience we’ve ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable, not only about wildlife and the park but also about culture, food, politics, and virtually any topic you might be curious about. This level of insight is a rare quality among safari guides.
Beyond that, he maintained the jeep impeccably, ensuring it was always clean and well-stocked. Any extra requests we had, he went out of his way to accommodate. This was truly one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve ever had, and I deeply appreciate all the special moments we shared with him.
