John's service exceeded my expectations.
5/5

John was very atentative to all our needs. He was professional, punctual and kind. Traveling as a group of women , we always felt safe.
The safari experience was exceptional. Some how, John knew how to find the animals and we had breathtaking views of the animals in their natural habitat , sometimes we witnessed them hunting.
John is very knowledgeable of the wildlife, the country and the people.
I would not look elsewhere for an exceptional safari experience.
John's service exceeded my expectations in all areas !

Unforgettable experience
5/5

Our Masai Mara safari was one of the most unforgettable trips we’ve ever taken. We spent 6 days there, staying in both the Mara Triangle and the main Masai Mara reserve, and each spot had its own charm.

The Mara Triangle was quiet, peaceful, and felt super remote – like we had the whole place to ourselves. We saw elephants, giraffes, tons of zebras, and even a leopard just lounging in a tree. The landscape was stunning, and the game drives were so relaxing and immersive.

Then we moved to the main reserve, which had a bit more activity and excitement. We saw plenty of lions, including some adorable cubs, along with cheetahs, hyenas, and huge herds of antelope and buffalo. Our guide was fantastic – really knew his stuff and made every drive feel special.

We also got the chance to visit a nearby Masai village, which was such a meaningful part of the trip. It was amazing to learn about their culture and way of life.

Even though we went in late March and missed the migration, the wildlife was still incredible, and the experience overall was just magical. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing experience
5/5

We spent 6 days on safari in the Masai Mara, and it was honestly one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had. We split our stay between the Mara Triangle and the main Masai Mara park, and I’m so glad we did – both were amazing in their own ways.

The Mara Triangle felt more remote and peaceful, with fewer vehicles around. It gave us this raw, untouched vibe, and the wildlife was incredible – we saw leopards 2 times, cheetahs 4 times, elephants, and so much more. It was like being in a nature documentary.

Then in the main park, the action really picked up. We saw Big Four (Only Rhino remained Elusive), tons of lions (even cubs!). Our guide John was fantastic – super knowledgeable and passionate – and they really made the whole trip special.

We also got a chance to visit a local Masai village, which added such a meaningful cultural touch. It was humbling and beautiful to see their way of life up close.

It’s hard to put into words just how magical the whole experience was. If you’ve ever dreamed of going on safari, Masai Mara will blow you away. We’ll be talking about this trip for years.

Epic safari experience
5/5

We spent 4 days on safari with John, traveling by Land Cruiser from Nairobi to Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru. John was an expert driver, navigating the roads to and in the parks incredibly well. He has deep knowledge of the parks and the wildlife in them. The number and variety of animals we saw exceeded all our expectations. John’s knowledge of the animals and their behavior added to the richness of our experience. We were often the first vehicle to spot something interesting, even if that meant traveling on little used paths. John was also gracious in his hospitality, setting up a sunset picnic spot one day and sunrise picnic spot the next. In the end we are glad we decided to drive from Nairobi, even with the rough roads. We took in Maasai and Kenyan life as we drove through small towns and rural areas, with John offering explanations along the way. Our trip was epic, and John was an important part of what made it special.

Absolutely the best
5/5

We had the most amazing experience with John from the moment he met us at the airstrip to when he dropped us back to Nairobi.
With John we saw all the wildlife within the park, his knowledge of the animals we saw only added to our safari.
We truly appreciated his respect of the wildlife while unfortunately many game drivers did not.
We decided at last minute to do a balloon ride, John organized everything for us.
We had a truly amazing vacation.
Thank you John

Above expectations!
5/5

This trip was booked to celebrate my 60th birthday, and while I’m an experienced solo, female traveler, I’ve never been to the African continent. After much research, I chose Nasaru Safari because of their timely responses and attention to detail. From my first inquiry, I felt they genuinely wanted my safari experience to be first rate and memorable. They had everything planned, and executed perfectly for my arrival. I was even able to suggest changes to my itinerary, and they accommodated without hesitation. Like most first time safari-goers, I didn’t really know what to expect, but from the beginning, I felt secure in knowing I was in good hands. On the first day of the safari, John- my guide, arrived on schedule, and handled every aspect of the journey, from travel to game drives to cultural experience, with ease and professionalism. His combination of safari knowledge and intuition, helped to make my experience even more profound. I told him what animals I wanted to see, and he made arrangements for those sightings. He knew most of the other guides, and was in constant communication, which added to the excitement. Even though it was a short safari adventure (4 days), I came to trust and call John my friend. I had loads of curiosity and questions about the Masaai people, and Kenyan way of life, and John was a real trooper answering all of them.

Even though I have traveled many places and experienced many cultures, this trip to Kenya has been by far the most exciting trip of all. I owe much of this lasting impression to Nasaru Safaris, because of their superb handling of the trip arrangements, and to John for making my experience the most memorable. I will certainly return again. Thank you John, and Nasaru Safaris. See you again soon!!
