Incredible Safari in Tanzania
We spent 4 days exploring the vast Selous Game Reserve in Tanzania and it is a safari that we will live to remember. Our guide Jaisi was friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable about the park and its entire biosphere. He taught us so much about the animals, land, history, plants and the different animals that populate the park. His passion to please and wow us was clearly evident as he spared no effort to give us what we wanted.
We had spoke with Rama while making the reservations and he was professional. His suggestions were great and he was key to getting us great discounts at the Rufiji River Camp where we stayed for 2 nights and then mixed it off with camping in a campsite deep in the park.
I must say that the game viewing was exceptional and we loved the great diversity of plants, animals and birds in the park. The boat safari along River Rufiji was awesome too.
I highly rate this trip and we awe the wonderful experience to the great work put in by the entire Gecko Adventure Tanzania team.

Excellent Safari Trip To Selous, Mikumi and Ruaha
Booking with Gecko Adventure Tanzania was the best decision that we took regarding our safari to Tanzania through Selous, Ruaha and Mikumi. Rama took care of all the details so that we did not have to worry about anything but just enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed exploring the parks with Musa as he took us from one adventure spot to the next. Musa must be the best guide that we have ever been on safari with because his knowledge of the wild animals and the ecosystems that we visited was impressive, he was solid on the roads and made great company with his unending stories that kept us captivated and hooked to him.
These parks are totally different from those in the Northern circuit, very well preserved and have very few visitors. We definitely enjoyed camping in the bush as nothing can beat sleeping under canvas in the bush. So exciting! The food was great and we really enjoyed this trip.

Five Stars Treat
My husband and I went on a weeklong safari in Tanzania to Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We booked with Gecko Adventure Tanzania following the recommendation of our friends who had been on safari with Gecko Adventures Tanzania last summer. Booking with Rama was easy as he was readily available to guide us with information as we worked on an itinerary that suited us.
The actual safari was mind blowing! It was well planned with game drives to the parks and accommodations in five star hotels and lodges. Out of the 4 places that we stayed in the Melia Serengeti and Manor in Ngorongoro were unmatched in terms of the overall experience.
The best part of our safari was our personal guide Juma. He is incredibly talented as a guide and knows how to keep the guests captivated and comfortable at all times. The hot air balloon was another highlight of our safari. We really enjoyed ourselves and were sad to leave Tanzania.

Truly Wonderful and Memorable
We had one of the most memorable safaris in Tanzania. We saw more than 70 lions, hundreds of elephants, thousands of wildebeest and zebras and many other different animals. Our guide Juma went above and beyond to make our game drives in the parks wonderful. He handled the vehicle expertly and kept us safe along the highways and the parks.
We were struck by the splendour and beauty of Serengeti and Ngorongoro that made us feel like we were in an Animal Planet shooting set. The accommodations and food through out the trip were outstanding.
I would love to have another go of this trip.

Our trip to Tanzania Mikkumi and Selous was perfect. Everything was perfectly organized, with a great 4x4 for our transport driven by guide Otto. He is an excellent driver and told us keeping us safe was his priority. He proved to be very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and history of the parks and Tanzania in general.
The entire safari was amazing filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters and views of the enchanting landscapes, The accommodations were comfortable throughout the journey, serving excellent food making perfect rest points.

Unforgettable Tanzania
The trip to Tanzania was absolutely fantastic, particularly because of the amazing action packed game drives with guide Benson and also because of the super great resorts that we were booked in. We enjoyed the boat safari, fishing, bird watching and the walking safaris in addition to the game drives, which all enhanced the experience in a big way.
Selous is like no other place we have been to as there was always a new experience waiting to be discovered. We will definitely come back for another adventure.

A trip to Selous is one of a kind
This trip to Selous with Gecko Adventure Tanzania was amazing. We went with guide Otto and we definitely had the best five days as a family this year! The game drives in Selous are one of kind, particularly the boat safari along Rufiji River was absolutely fantastic as went floating with elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and other animals on the banks, and hippos in the river. Otto helped us explore various sections of the parks and he would find interesting sights all over. We came across a huge python in the process of swallowing an whole antelope which was a rare sighting.
The lodge in Selous was beautiful and food unbelievably good. We could have stayed here for the rest of our lives were it possible

Perfect Safari in Tanzania
We truly had an amazing safari in Tanzania where we made amazing memories. We are totally impressed by the amazing work put in by Gecko Adventure Tanzania to make sure that we had an excellent time. Our guide Philip went above and beyond to find all the animals that we wanted to see, and also to keep our young boys captivated. He answered all our questions with well thought out answers and his genuine concern for our comfort and happiness was evident all through.
We saw many different animals ranging from the huge elephants, lions, leopard, rhinos, wild dogs, hyenas, buffaloes and lots wildebeest in Northern Serengeti.
We were impressed by the lengths that Rama had gone to ensure we had a perfect experiences, like organizing for a complimentary birthday cake for my son Toon at Pakulala Camp in Ngorongoro on his birthday! That was really cool!
The overall experience was amazing and given another opportunity we would return in heartbeat.

Awesome
We spent our fabulous honeymoon in Tanzania with Musa of Gecko Adventure Tanzania. Everything about this trip was perfect, from the moment we arrived in JNIA to our departure we were treated like royalty.
Our guide Musa was the star of the trip, he knew the Selous like the back of his hand, he took us on a life journey as we explored different sections of the expansive park. One can hardly believe that the five days we were there were not enough to cover the park. There was harsly any other human traffic and this gave us the utmost privacy and time to enjoy the park without interruptions. The boat ride and fishing outing on Rufiji River were awesome.
There was so much to see and we really had an awesome safari. Thank you Rama for organizing such a romantic getaway away from the crowds.
We will cherish these memories forever!

Incredible Safari
We went on a safari to Selous and Mikumi with Otto and it was incredible. These parks are some of the best places to see wildlife in their natural habitat in the world. We enjoyed the game drives as we came from one great animal encounter to the next. We managed to see lots of elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, a lot of birdlife and many other species of wildlife that is abundant in Mikumi and Selous.
The lodges were amazing, we enjoyed the first class service and staying in the tented luxury rooms. The food was excellent and they would pack excellent baskets for our picnic lunches. We also enjoyed the surprise candle lit dinner on our anniversary.
All in all we had an amazing time in Tanzania, thanks to Rama putting the trip so well, that it was flawless!
