Birthday Safari
Our nine day safari with Moriti surpassed all of our expectations. We were entertained and taken care of from the time we were picked up at the airport until we were safely returned. Our guide, William, was knowledgeable and attentive. We loved South Africa, and we will definitely be back. Choosing a safari company out of the hundreds available online was a daunting task, but Shaun and his crew were certainly the right choice for us. I cannot recommend the private safari experience enough, and Moriti created a vacation for us that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thanks to Shaun, William and Lindsey for going the extra mile.

Wonderful Honeymoon Trip
We went on a 9 day tour with Moriti for our honeymoon, including 1 night in Kruger, 5 nights in private reserves and the rest around the Blyde river canyon. Communication before the trip was excellent. We were fortunate to have William as our guide, he was knowledgeable and friendly, and adept at dodging the occasional pot hole on the road. All the accommodation was comfortable and the food was great. Highlights of the trip include a perfect leopard sighting in Klaserie, great food from our private chef Lindsey, and wonderful views (and not having to worry about anything)!

A safari experience never to be forgotten, leaving you counting the days until the next one
This is my 2nd safari with Shaun and Charles and it felt like meeting up with old friends. Shaun's communication regarding the safari has always been exceptional, never leaving any question unanswered and when you arrive at Camp you are prepared and ready . The transport from the airport made our lives so much easier and we got to know the other photographers on the journey, stopping for lunch and enough pit stops to stretch our legs and buy refreshments. When we arrived, we all felt comfortable together and our first game drive was so easy and relaxed.
The camp was exceptional, the accommodation was pristine, comfortable and relaxing. The food was sublime and as a vegetarian, my fussy culinary requirements were more than catered for.
Shaun and the team at Camp were exceptionally attentive hosts and nothing was too much for them.
The uniqueness of Shaun's safari's is what keeps me coming back. I love the remoteness of the Camp, the fact that we track every animal and where each encounter with wildlife is yours alone. Shaun has a massive amount of knowledge and patience and a huge and healthy respect for the game we are viewing. My March photographic safari has become my annual spoil to myself and I shall await next year's March safari with great enthusiasm.
My only complaint is that it was too short and March 2018 is too is too far away.

My annual getaway
I can't see myself going on safari with any other safari company. The lodge, food, company, views, animals - the whole package is what makes me go again and again without any doubts. Shaun, the owner, goes to every length to keep his guests happy. His knowledge, sense of humour and overall warm personality makes any day in the bush a memorable one.
Great Safari
Shaun did a great job a setting up our safari. We had the time of our life ! The epxerience was absolutely unbelievable. Werner & Wiseman, respectively our guide & tracker were so professional and enthusiastic ; we got to see linos and leopard hunting, a wild dog pride dining, elephants grazing in the river, and learned so much about the wildlife, the flora, and the region as whole. Rika, our hostess, was kindness and service personified, attending to all our needs with a smile. Moxe & Rems, our chefs (as in personal chef cooking your meals, yeah...) cooked us excellent meals daily. Thank you !!

The only way to see it.
I was fortunate enough to book a trip with Shaun early this January (2017). I took my partner to see the bush for the first time and to get a feel for what the wildlife in Africa is all about. It was an experience like no other. Not only did the trip surpass all the expectations I had but it took my knowledge and understanding of the bush to a whole new level. The trip guide Shaun Taylor will 'taylor' make your safari trip to be a special one with a great understanding of the animals and land and a sense of adventure and passion for wildlife in every way. Thank you Moriti Private safaris for memories that will never be forgotten!

Incredible experience - should be on everyone's bucket list!
We're 2 Canadian couples traveling to South Africa for the safari, some time in Cape Town, stellenbosch/franschhoek and London on our way back home. We all agreed that the safari was by far the best part of the trip. Being from the city, working very corporate jobs, we didn't know what to expect, but this experience blew us away, and it's mostly due to moriti private safaris. Our guide, Shaun, was so knowledgeable and passionate it made the entire experience fun and exciting. He is also very easy to get along with and we'd all become friends by the end of our trip. The schedule allowed us plenty of time for game drives, and also time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The accommodations were luxurious to say the least, the food was exceptional - we rolled away from the table after every meal. After experiencing the safari with moriti we've decided this "once in a lifetime" experience will need to be repeated, even with family. We felt safe and trusted Shaun and the tracker, wiseman. We have a new found appreciation for wildlife and recommend to anyone looking for the best safari experience, to book with moriti private safaris... You will not be disappointed!

Unforgettable experience that everyone must do at least once in their life!
My experience on this safari went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. I am a bit overdue with this review, but three months later I am still reeling from the experience. Shaun was incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating and wonderful with our group. If you are even thinking about doing a safari in South Africa, you have to do it with Shaun. I promise you will not regret it! I thought this would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience but I am very much looking forward to making a return trip. Thank you, Shaun!

WOW… a trip we’ll never forget
Words can’t describe how incredible our Private Moriti Safari was. Shaun planned a fantastic itinerary with us, giving us the opportunity to see all of the wildlife as well as the panoramic tour. Our guide for the 9 days, William, was a wealth of knowledge and an absolute pleasure to be around. He was a true gentleman with his only aim to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves…he definitely succeeded!
Our jam packed 9 day tour gave us the luxury of visiting a few lodges/guesthouses. Laughing Waters was the perfect way to begin; the beautifully well-kept gardens were a delight and Gavin’s cooking was delicious. West Lodge felt like home from home; comfortable, friendly and more delicious food. Our stay at Tshukudu can only be described as magically surreal. Our room/lodge was lovely, even with the added visitor of the bushbaby on our second night! Walking with the cheetah on our morning bush walk will be something we will never forget, an experience that money shouldn’t be able to buy but one we couldn’t be more grateful we had the chance of.
The last 3 nights can only be described as better than 5* luxury. Arriving at Nzumba lodge in the Klaserie area of Kruger, we were blown away with everything we saw. The beautiful big house with its separate lodges for rooms is perfectly positioned to sit and watch an abundance of animals at the watering hole. As if to order, 20mins after we arrived, sipping our cocktails on the balcony we watched a herd of elephants at the watering hole – spectacular! Werner and Rika made our last three nights dreamlike, with Werner’s incredible knowledge of the bush and Rika’s faultless hosting we certainly didn’t want to leave. Wiseman the tracker made sure we saw all the Big 5 and much more, while the chef and his team delighted us with some of the most exquisite food. There couldn’t be a more magical way to experience a safari.
We cannot thank Moriti (Shaun) enough for such a wonderful trip. There would be no hesitation in recommending to others and there’s no doubt in our minds that we will be back to experience more of what Shaun and his team can offer.
