8-day Safari - Lake Manyara | Serengeti | Ngorongoro Crater
Elias and John were just incredible... so knowledgable and accommodating. We loved being in the Land Cruiser with John (he even put up with our senses of humour!), and we felt so good just leaving ourselves in his capable hands. We had some amazing laughs with John and he showed us the incredible natural world around us and under our noses.
The drive to the Serengeti can be bumpy, dusty and long but we loved every minute. There is so much to see and absorb in this incredible landscape. We chose to do two days in the Ngorongoro crater and are SO happy we did. The crater is just out of this world.
We had an incredible experience with World Air Travel & Tours. The food was great, we were always hydrated, the lodges were outstanding, service was really good and friendly everywhere.
Thanks Elias and John, and see you again soon. We're coming back with friends!!!

Wonderful Experience
We visited Tanzania during May 2017 for 10 days and had a time of our life. Elias, who organized our trip, and John, who was our safari guide, were very helpful and professional.
We contacted Elias to get a personalized quote for safaris in northern Tanzania region and he sent us a few options in different price ranges. The packages were very reasonably priced (compared to other quotes we got) and the accommodations included are nothing short of spectacular.
My wife was traveling from India, and I from the U.S. Our plan was to fly to Nairobi and then take a shuttle to Arusha after a night's stay in Nairobi. However, I missed my flight from U.S unfortunately and my wife flew to Nairobi alone. I contacted Elias and he immediately responded by adjusting our trip schedule. As my flight landed in NBO at 2:30PM, we missed the shuttle to Arusha (that Elias booked for us). He put us in contact with a person in Nairobi airport, who booked a taxi to Namanga border and Elias sent John to pick us up from Namanga at no additional charge. He made sure that our trip stayed on schedule.
We visited Tarangire the first day and stayed at Burunge tented lodge. The stay was amazing. The views of Lake Burunge while you sip a drink or eat dinner were spectacular. The lake was dotted with flamingos all over. We did see a little bit of wild life, but not much in Tarangire. Spotted a few herds or elephants, ostriches, and some small game, such as zebra, here and there.
Lake Manyara was the next destination. The lake itself was beautiful and had a lot of wildlife around it. We saw hippos, elephants, wildebeests, a lot of giraffes, a variety of birds. You can also get an amazing view of Rift valley. Manayara is more of a jungle than a plain. So, it's a little harder to spot animals.
We drove to Serengeti the next day and the experience was inexplicable. There are wild animals everywhere you can see in the endless plains. We stayed at Kubu Kubu tented camp and the view of Serengeti from the tents was breathtaking. We could sit in the balcony and see a bunch of buffalo, zebra, and gazelles all over the plains.
Our trip concluded at Ngorongoro crater, where we saw an abundance of wildlife and completed our big-five spotting when we spotted a Black Rhino and it's calf. Wildebeests grazed at a stone's throw from a pride of lions. It's hard to describe the amount of wildlife present inside the crater (and in Serengeti).
John Mwanga, our tour guide, was very experienced and super friendly. We had very nice chats with him during dinners and lunches talking about Tanzanian culture and people. He definitely went the extra mile to make our trip worthwhile.

Trip of a lifetime
My friend and I did the tour from Bush to Beach with five days of Safari in the northern National Parks and afterwards four days in Zanzibar.
It was a perfect trip, we had such a great time! Everything was so well organized, from pick up at the airport over accommodation to the Safari itself, we really had to worry about nothing and could just enjoy the splendid wildlife of Tanzania. It was amazing how many animals we saw and our driver Paul did his best to spot them and was always so patient when we couldn't get enough of the lions or elephants. He left no wish unfulfilled and was a funny and reliable guide as well as a very good and safe driver.
The lodges were marvelous and the food delicious, there was really nothing to complain. The staff was always friendly and eager to help with any problem. We were sad to leave the National Parks behind but Zanzibar made that up. We stayed in the Ocean Paradise Beach Resort which is such a nice place to relax, beautifully arranged and with amazing food. Snorkeling was nice as well! And just the colors of the ocean at low tide with the boats lying on the beach is worth the visit.
For the booking we were quite spontaneous and were not flexible concerning the date, World Air Travel and Tours was the one company that just adopted the program to our wishes. And Elias, the Sales and Operations Manager, replied always immediately to our questions and demands.
All in all we had the trip of a lifetime and are eagerly waiting for a repeat.

5 days magical encounter of the big five safari
What a great trip! My partner and I happened to have a short window to visit the Serengeti for 5 days at the end of July, with such a short notice, World Air Travel and Tours was able to make it happen! Elias did a wonderful job in arranging our tour, the accommodations were great, the Serengeti and other highlights (the Ngorongoro crater, Masai village, and the drive along the way) were amazing. We definitely have to give a huge credit to our driver/guide, John, as well. He's very professional and knowledgeable. The road to the Serengeti was long and rough but John was able to keep everything on track and constantly making sure that we were comfortable even though he was doing all the hard work. Another huge thumbs up to John for driving non-stop for 8-9 hours hoping to track the wildebeest migration for us. A job well done, World Air Travel and Tours! Thanks for a terrific experience!

Far above our expectations
My family of six (3 sisters and our husbands) just got back last week from our African Safari tour with World Air & Travel Tours. What a trip! Having never been to Africa, we weren't sure what to expect. So we were very happy to see that it was simply amazing.
Elias had worked with us to tailor the dates, locations, and lodging just for us and our needs. He found a lodge for us that was far more luxurious and beautiful than any place I had ever stayed in. I could have stayed on for the whole trip!
However, we moved on to the Serengeti to our tent camping locations. They were actually very comfortable, with great beds! And the service by the camp staff was as good as any you'd find in fine hotels and restaurants in Europe. Great people!
Our guide was John. What a great guy! He drove through really tricky conditions and rough roads, but not once was I afraid with him behind the wheel. We all felt that he could be a professional stunt driver! He also was so patient with the amount of time we wanted to stare at the animals. He found all of them that we had wanted to see: elephants, rhinos, giraffes, lions, cheeta, leopard, wart hogs, millions of hooved animals. The migration was stunning.
We also were interested in finding as many types of birds as possible, and he knew the name of each one.
All in all, it truly was the Trip of a Lifetime. I've travelled to Europe many times, but this trip was so unique and memorable. If you are contemplating this trip, don't hesitate.

Professional and Friendly Service
While comparing touring companies we found that World Air Travel was going to give us the most days and the best accommodations for the rate compared to the others. Elias also had the best customer service - no high pressure sales like the other operators. Elias took the time to answer our many questions, and worked with us to determine the best itinerary for our 10 day safari. We were a group of 6 and with John as our guide had an amazing and memorable safari. John is very skilled at driving the challenging roads of the Serengeti and finding the wildlife. If you are considering a tour company we highly recommend World Air Travel, and hope you have the pleasure of having John as your guide. Thank you John and Elias for a trip of a lifetime!

Super customer service and extremely knowledgeable safari guiding!
My friend and I started planning our safari in what could be considered a very tight timeframe. We enquired with several tour operators and for many of them it was already fairly late to start planning a tailored adventure for the two of us. Therefore, we were pleasantly surprised by the ability of Elias and his crew not only to accommodate our requests, but also to tailor our safari experience to our desire. In addition, Elias was able to respond to my last-minute travel mishaps very efficiently, making arrangements not to disrupt our itinerary and helping us to move ahead as planned. Our guide, Emmanuel, was incredibly knowledgeable of the area, wildlife and surrounding environment, and we learned much from him as much about the local ecosystems in the Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro as we did about the local culture. I highly recommend this tour operator and our guide. It was a pleasure to tour with them and I will definitely return one day and do it all over again with them.

Northern Tanzania Safari
From the start Elias from World Air Travel & Tours was very helpful in helping us to select our itinerary for the safari. When we arrived Paul was our guide and was amazing throughout the whole trip, we really felt like he went out of his way to ensure that we got the best experience we possibly could have. The accommodations selected was fantastic and the food was great. I would thoroughly recommend World Air Travel & Tours as a tour operator and would definitely use them again in the future.
