Fantastic from start to finish
We did the Chobe trip. Pick up and border crossing was very smooth, everything was well organised. Our game drive was wonderful - we saw Lions very close, elephants, hippos, buffalo and more. Lunch was a delicious buffet (veggie food was good). The afternoon river trip was amazing, we saw elephants and hippos up close, buffalo and crocodiles too. The journey home was simple. Everybody working on the tour was helpful and kind. We would highly recommend.

Very professional, reliable, and responsive.
The booking process was a breeze. Both Pamela and Blessing were very communicable and responsive. The whole trip was amazing! Every place we visited was beautiful and we enjoyed it very much. Hotels were nice and comfortable, food were fantastic, and more importantly our guide, Moto, was incredible. He always made sure we were well looked after, and definitely made the trip more memorable. Thank you very much!

A really great tour that varied in activities
Cosmos ( Renamed Bubba for the duration of the tour) was our tour guide and he did know his stuff. He was informative and funny, He lugged our bags. Organised tours and was just exceptional in all he did. The van was too small for our group so he organised a trailer for the luggage on his day off. He drove really well and spotted animals way before any of us. The van could do with replacing as its getting older and had a couple of issues which Cosmos fixed. The seats were very comfortable though.
The tour was good because it wasn't all open jeep. There were walks, morokos and boats with great food and drinks supplied. We upgraded the hotels and found them to be lovely. Sleeping under the stars was great, even got a hot water bottle to use. Food was good throughout the tour although sometimes it was cold. Spotted lots of animal and completed the big 5 minus the rhino.
There were no hiccups with the accommodation which was good.
Didn't think much of the Boma dinner and wouldn't recommend wasting a night there. Far too crowded. No view of the festivities.
All in all the tour was good value and varied.

Friendly
It was a beautiful Time.
I liked the Victoria Falls alot.
I had already been on a safari before where I saw more animals.
That's why I would leave this out next time.
The service and the food were always nice and delicious.
I think the price is too expensive for the whole tour, especially since not everything is paid for. (Entry for the V.Falls)

friendly organizer, everything well organized
Our guide was very friendly and helpful. On our tour I thought it was a shame that we had to pay the entrance fee to the Vic Falls because the tour already had a high price (but this was described in the document) The safari was very nice. we were able to take enough time to observe the animals. Overall, the tour was incredibly beautiful.

Zim provided a trip that was varied and interesting with a wonderful guide and great accommodation
This trip was the best holiday we have ever had. Botswana and Zimbabwe were beautiful countries with amazing wild landscapes. The variety of animals and birds we saw was beyond our expectations from so many elephants to the delightful meerkat. We enjoyed meeting villagers and gaining an understanding of their very simple lives. People here are so happy and friendly. We never felt unsafe. Camping on the salt pans was quite an adventure as was the family of elephants who blocked our track and were a little scary. Awesome to see lions however the leopards remained elusive to us. Zim Travel have been brilliant to deal with and everything went like clockwork. Thank you to Pamela who organised the trip and to Stanford our amazing guide.

An amazing experience
What an amazing experience, we had the time of our lives
We we're picked up in Victoria Falls by Andy, our lovely and knowledgeable driver/guide who taught us so much about this part of Africa and it's culture.
We drove to Kasane and Chobe where we had two morning drives, an afternoon drive and a river cruise. There were elephants, giraffs, impalas, kudus, hippos and buffalos galore. There were a number of colourful birds and we got to see lions with cubs, lions playing with prey (a baboon) and even a leopard.
The next stop was Elephant Sands were you can sit by the fire and watch the elphants up close. This was an amazi g experience although the smell could be quite interresting. And by the way, in winter, bring warm clothes. At night the temperature went down to about 5 degrees celsius and there is no heating in the tents.
The last part of the trip was in Maun and the Okavango delta. On the way there, there were a lot of animals along the road, impalas and elephants and a large herd of zebras. When we got to Maun we had a land back afternoon and evening before going on a mokoro (canoo) trip in the delta combined with a walking safari. This was such a peaceful and different way of seeing the animals. The walking safari was maybe the only letdown on the whole trip. We did not see many animals except some zebras and wilderbeest from a distanse, but the mokoro trip made up for it.
The accomodation on the trip was also very nice and the staff at the lodges were great.
Thanks to Andy for making this trip such a wonderful experience and to Pamela for organizing everything. Thank you so much.

Great experience
All in all we had a great time. A friend organised all the componants and booking so I can't comment on that side of things, can only comment on the experience itself.
Our tour guide, Cosmos, was simply fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for him and he went above and beyond, many times during the trip. We had a couple of small hiccups along the way, but all were rectified calmly and quickly - and really it just added to the experience. Very happy.
Great value Vic Falls & Botswana tour
We had a great experience with Africa Zim tours. Andy our guide was great. He was informative, energetic and great to talk to. Our highlights of this trip were camping in Chobe national park & Okavango Delta. While budget camping may not be everyones cup of tea, it was a surreal experience camping in the middle of the park knowing your are surrounded by African wild life - sometimes only a very short distance away! But we felt completely safe and it also meant we were able to get the most of our safari drives.
