Friendly and competent, NTN have the expertise and contacts to make your holiday truly unforgettable
Amber Lynn from NTN helped us plan our 2-week self-drive tour of Namibia. She was able to accommodate our requirements and her suggestions (eg for guided tours) to improve our experience proved right in all cases. We had a fantastic holiday in wonderful places. Wildlife and landscapes were mind blowing, and people all over Namibia incredibly friendly and open. The lodges we stayed at were all of high standard and the food was excellent. NTN provided us with a day by day description of our tour, accommodation, sites to see and directions, which proved accurate given that the navigator does not really work that well in remote locations with no usual addresses. Thank you NTN and Amber Lynn from four happy travellers.

Wonderful trip with many memories
Our first time in Namibia, and we had a wonderful experience with Nature Travel Namibia. NTN helped us customize our itinerary to our interests and very responsive throughout. They adjusted accommodations as per our budget and guided us on how to complete our trip in the 2 weeks we had. Our guide knew Namibia like the back of his hand and we learnt a lot about the region and its people. His enthusiasm for Namibia made our trip so much more enjoyable. We highly recommend Namibia for the beautiful landscapes and wildlife that you won't find anywhere else. Lastly, we want to mention that we had a travel issue enroute, and Nature Travel Namibia went the extra mile to adjust our bookings and trip planning. We really appreciate how much they care about their clients and we wish our trip was longer :)
We enjoyed Sossusvlei the most. It's beautiful at sunrise as the light changes. The view from the dunes is surreal. Another fantastic experience was Sandwich Harbour where the dunes meet the ocean. Namibia has no end to fantastic landscapes, and no visitor will be disappointed.

A perfect trip, perfectly planned by NTN
The 11-day “Etosha, Caprivi, Chobe & Vic Falls” private safari that we booked with Nature Travel Namibia was absolutely amazing!
We had never done an organized trip like this before and didn’t really know what to expect. Everything was planned to perfection by Amber. All the lodges where we stayed were great, for accommodations, food, location and staff (we especially loved Mushara Bush Camp). While we would have loved to stay in Africa longer our work schedule did not allow that - but the way the 11 days on this trip were planned was perfect. Just the right amount of time in each location, so we got to enjoy the uniqueness of each place and got to see and experience so much. Everything worked smoothly in every one of the places where we stayed, with no problems on the whole trip.
Email communication with Nature Travel Namibia before the trip was very easy and informative. Amber answered our many questions patiently, helped us to prepare well for this trip that was so different from any vacation we had ever done, and made sure all the optional activities we chose were booked and paid for, down to the dinner reservation at the Lookout Cafe.
Our tour guide Stewart was wonderful – very knowledgeable, intelligent, reliable, enthusiastic, and always up for some fun (like a game of “Whose chosen animal will we see the most of on the drive between Etosha South and East?”, which the zebras won with 1015!). Stewart was as excited as we were for the incredible wildlife sightings we had and was very respectful to the animals and their habitat, which we really appreciated (we saw later on a game drive organized by a lodge how other guides crowd the animals and ruthlessly invade their space). He has an amazing eye for wildlife and was able to spot and identify so many animals for us.
We had so many amazing wildlife encounters, from a leaping Lion (on the first evening nonetheless) to baby Elephants and even African Wild Dogs! We saw all the Big Five and so much more!
The only disappointment was the drive through Bwabwata National Park, where we saw almost no animals, as there had been controlled burns along the major highway we were on.
It was so eye-opening to see the difference between the desert in Etosha and the paradise that the big rivers that we did boat cruises on (Kavango, Kwando and Chobe) provide for the wildlife. I am so glad we chose this particular itinerary, as we got to experience these very different habitats, and I would highly recommend going on the boat cruises, as each of these 3 rivers is so unique.
And capping the trip off at Victoria Falls for something completely different was the perfect ending to the trip of a lifetime.
This trip definitely exceeded our hopes and expectations!
We are looking forward to coming back in a few years to explore more of Namibia with Nature Travel Namibia and Stewart Matsopo!

Great company to arrange your trip to Namibia
Nature Travel Namibia, and Petra Joell helped us in organizing a customised 12 days self drive tour in Namibia.
Petra was always quick to respond, she was very professional, the communication was very smooth from the beginning and the tour was well organized.
We booked lodges, cars and activities and everything work out fine, even last minute requests!
Namibia is a great place to travel to and I highly recommend to use NTN!

Absolutely superb
I have no words to describe NTN and Pepe other than superb in all aspects. Pepe showed complete attention to detail as well as listening to what we asked for. She was able to put together an amazing itinerary with two days notice and find us a superb driver, Martin. My daughter and I were traveling together and not worried about safety once and could just relax and enjoy the trip. Pepe was able to find us places to stay at a spectrum of price points so we could decide what we would like to do. She answered messages incredibly quickly. Martin also went above and beyond at trying to ensure each day was great. Namibia has always been on my bucket list and I am so glad to have been able to do it in such a spectacular way - seeing a leopard eat its prey up a tree whilst its cub playfully stalked our jeep was truly amazing. A heartfelt thank you for making myself and my daughter have such an amazing time.

Professional service. Great guide/driver in Namibia.
We communicated directly with our agent (Amber) in regards our itinerary. There was a lot of back and fro in our planning. We were also able to use WhatsApp which proved very useful. The itinerary was out together professionally. Detailed lay out of our accommodation, excursions and activities.
During our trip, our guide and driver was a man named Stewart, a very friendly, knowledgable and outgoing person who made us feel welcome and ensured our safety. He drove very well throughout and told us lots about the history and current affairs of the nation. He helped out with photo taking and accomodated our wishes.
The accommodation we stayed in was a delight. The Gondwana collection was superb especially the Canyon Lodge in Fish River Canyon. We loved the food at each especially at Desert Lodge near Sossusvlei. However, we stayed at Belvedere Hotel in Windhoek and weren’t that impressed with the poor quality of the bed (one of the worst night’s sleep of my life) and there was no dinner served at the hotel. We had to order delivery (pizza/pasta, very average). May want to avoid this establishment.
If you’re thinking of going to Namibia, I would highly recommend visiting Sossusvlei(it’s a must do). Be sure to head up the sand dunes and then down into the pan. We also went to Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. The marine cruise was a huge surprise as we got up, close and personal to the seals and pelicans. The beach braai (BBQ) was also a lovely experience. Highly recommended. However we also went to Fish River Canyon which was a long journey south. I think you could skip this and instead head north to Damaraland and onto Safari in Etosha. We didn’t do these things as we had just come from Safari in Kenya, but our driver said Damaraland was his favourite part of Namibia. The landscape of the nation is stunning. You can drive for hours without seeing other vehicles. There aren’t many tourists around. It’s a great African country for a visit. The roads are in excellent condition.
On our arrival, our luggage was delayed, but Stewart and Amber assisted us and it was on the next flight into Windhoek. Jo’burg airport has a huge issue with luggage and it seems that many travellers do not get their baggage in time. Keep this in mind.
We highly recommend this tour operator for your Namibian trip. You won’t be disappointed.

Helpful, flexible, responsive, thoughtful and creative
Petra at Nature Travel Namibia was an excellent tour architect for us. She was always considering our multiple idiosyncrasies and working out ways to accommodate despite us not leaving her much time with availability etc. She worked hard to piece together an excellent itinerary which came off perfectly, thanks to the amazing guiding of Wilson. Together they were a very impressive combination which resulted in a truly fantastic holiday. Thanks to you both!!

Wonderful company to deal with and tailored the 14 days just the way we envisaged.
14 day safari tour through Namibia and Botswana finishing up at Victoria Falls. We are four older Australians who embraced all that was on offer during the tour. Our guide and driver Joram was so easy to travel with and quickly understood what we liked to see and do. Having a great sense of humour was a bonus for us. The variety of experiences was surprising: Desert living tours, shipwrecks in the ocean, ancient rock art, Himba tribes, Etosha safaris, river cruises and so many animals to be seen.
Highlights:
Lions leaving the waterhole at sunrise.
White rhino drinking at waterhole and walking towards the vehicle.
Honey badger having a sand bath right near the edge of the road.
30 to 40 elephants of all sizes marching right past our vehicle when they left the waterhole.
Beautiful mirror image photography of giraffe, zebra, Impala.
Hyena bathing in the water.
Finally seeing a cheetah but no leopard.
So many birds to photograph.
Chobe River cruise so special as finally got to see so many hippos on land including babies.
Elephants crossing the water and seeing the baby trunks like snorkels following mum.
Victoria Falls was stunning.
Excellent accommodation at all the places we stayed: some being high end resort others being small very personalised hospitality. Each day was a pleasant surprise.
All four of us had a fantastic time and would love to explore other African places in the future.
