Wonderful unforgettable ten days in Kenya and Tanzania arranged for us by Noah and his amazing team.
We thoroughly enjoyed our safari. Should we go on another safari in East Africa we will most definitely use Wildebeest Safaris again. Noah planned the safari with us from the start. He communicated with us all the detail. When we arrived he was at the hotel to welcome us personally. Our guides Jeff (in Kenya) and Humphrey (in Tanzania) assisted us and tried to ensure that all our expectations were met. They were flexible and so helpful. The accommodation, safari vehicles were up to standard. We were well looked after.

Polite staff and great value
Communications were initially very good and provided an excellent break down of a proposed itinerary. Subsequent communications were not so good and took some time for a response.
The service was great. We got picked up from Nairobi and then driven out to Maasia Mara in a mini-van. We had the van to ourselves and our driver was very polite and knowledgeable. The tented camp that we stayed in was perfect for our needs.
The tour itself was great too. Our driver was polite and knowledgeable and made the trip far better.
In all, a fantastic experience and one that my family will remember for years.

Straightforward planning and booking experience, excellent driver/guide
The planning and booking process was straightforward. The sales representative Noah from Wildebeest Safaris answered every single one of my questions in a timely fashion. What can be improved, perhaps, is attaching a few photos of or links to camps/hotels/vehicle at this stage of email communication.
When we arrived at the Nairobi airport it was already getting dark. So it took us a couple of sweeping around to spot our driver with a hand-written sign of our names, among a few dozen other drivers standing outside the airport. In the meantime I also tried to contact the tour operator but both cellphone numbers were unanswered. In addition, it took us some time to figure out the driver who picked us up were not the same driver/guide for the rest of safari trip. In retrospect, all of above can be improved with better email communication beforehand, in order to minimize customer apprehension. But things got sorted out quickly so it did not negatively affect our airport pick-up experience too much. The hotel at Nairobi is decent and safe, which is important as the first stop of our ten-day safari tour.
Our driver/guide Dennis is great. He is energetic, polite, knowledgeable about wild animals, local culture, road condition, and also attentive to our needs during the entire safari trip. His wife was due to deliver a baby girl two days before the end of our safari trip. So he had to make and/or receive phone calls during the trip. But this was totally understandable and it never really got in the way of our safari experience. During game drives Dennis was focused. We were able to get many well-angled shots including leopard eating its game behind thick tree branches, five cheetah brothers lounging around together, lions mating, rhinos fighting, etc. etc. There were a couple of minor vehicle issues (including a broken passenger side window at the start of our trip) but they all got taken care of within a couple of days. Overall it was a reliable vehicle that served us and the driver well for the entire trip.
The camps/hotels selected during the safari are satisfying in general. Some are better managed than others, but more so on people side rather than location/hardware side.

Posted on Mar 28, 2023Dear Jd Patel,
Thank you for your feedback. As for park fees we usually pay on the spot upon arrival at the gate. We have since improved our communication skills between operations and our office and lodges are paid in good time to avoid last minute rush.
Kind Regards,
Noah

Everything about our trip was Magical.
Our Safari with wildebeest Safaris was PERFECT!! Noah was here to answer ALL our questions before the trip and it is an understatement to say that our trip and itinerary exceeded our expectations by far!! Hamza, our guide and driver was AMAZING! We got to see the big 5 thanks to him and he made sure we saw all the animals from up close! We went to LAKE MANYARA, SERENGETI and then Ngorongoro Crater with him and he ALWAYS has a smile on his face and is super experienced after more than 11 years as a guide!
All the hotels Noah booked for us were top-notch and we’re super picky! It was really magical from A to Z.
The second part of our trip was Zanzibar and we had booked it by ourselves on booking.com when we got there, the hotel was a Catastrophe! We hated it and couldn’t stand to stay there even for one night! ( as I said we are super picky ) I immediately called NOAH and told him what had happened! He IMMEDIATELY sent his driver Suleiman to the hotel to stay with us while he tried to book for us LAST MINUTE a an amazing resort in Zanzibar and his driver took us there that same night! This is our last day there and we never want to leave!
I DEFINITELY recommend you book with wildebeest safaris as they will accompany you every step of the way!
Thank you Noah and Thank you wildebeest safaris for the trip of a lifetime! Will definitely be back!!

Private safari in three conservatives- big five + 1 spotted, excellent lodging in the wilderness.
We had a private safari, me and my two kids, ten and fourteen. We felt safe all the time. The guide Willy was excellent- with lot of of knowledge and respect for the nature and animals he guided us through Amboseli, Nakuru lake and Masai Mara national parks. We saw loads of wild animals including the big five plus a cheeta. As a bonus we saw a lot of the country of Kenya during the long drives between conservatives. Met so many nice and friendly people. Super tent lodges - clean, fresh and well equipped and perfect service.

great experience; superb tour guide; excellent administrative support
Noah and Samuel provided excellent support from booking our hotel, arranging for my strict dietary restrictions to be accommodated, answering our many questions, and offering options for payment methods. Our safari tour guide and driver was fantastic! He was experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing his knowledge of the animals/area we are moving through. He was also conscientious and ensured to give animals a wide berth as not to encroach upon their natural movements (e.g. not being in the way for wildebeests crossing). He was a very safe driver. The terrain getting to/from our hotel and while driving in masai mara could get rough, tight, muddy, etc. But he worked through them with expertise. Overall, my group of friends were very happy with our safari experience.

Overall nice experience but a little more bang for buck expected
The staff were friendly and accommodating, changing the itinerary as per requests without fuss. The only thing we were really unhappy about was the driver's level of experience. While very nice and professional, he was just that, a driver. He clearly did not have a lot of experience as a guide and could not properly answer a lot of our questions. In the end we found out he was a trainee. If that was the case, I wonder why he was sent to guide us on his own instead of in accompaniment of an experienced guide from whom he could learn. For the money spent on this trip, that is the least Wildebeest Safari could have done. We would consider going with them again, but would certainly ensure we have someone who is more knowledgeable.

Posted on Mar 28, 2023Dear Sir/Madam,
Ever since, if we are giving the trainees opportunities to learn, we send them with an experienced driver/guide to avoid such complaints. You are welcomed again to travel with us.
Kind Regards,
Noah

Amazing experience in the Masai Mara with Peter!
We had such an incredible experience! Noah was amazing to work with on the booking, planning, and payment side. He was easy to work with and did his best to accommodate every little ask our group had. We had very particular dietary restrictions and everything was communicated with the hotel as requested. Peter was our guide and was AWESOME! We saw most of the Big 5 before our 2nd day! He worked hard to try and find the most interesting things for us to view on our safari, was incredibly knowledgeable, and super funny! We had great communication everyday so we knew when and where to meet him and what to expect. I highly recommend using Wildebeest Safaris and request Peter!!!

Top notch Masai Mara Experience with Wildebeest Safaris
It was an absolutely amazing experience. When it comes to communication, Wildebeest come out at 110percent. Noah was very very very prompt to respond to my numerous emails. I must have sent him over 20 emails, and he responded swiftly to every one of them. That was very impressive.
Wilson and Samuel were already at the Airport waiting for us when we arrived and they made the welcome a pleasant one. Wilson was a great tour guide, answering loads of questions we had and helping us spot 4 of the Big 5 in a very quick time on our first game drive.
The accommodation given to us as part of the package by Wildebeest Safaris was wayyyy beyond our expectations. We stayed at the Zebra Plains Mara camp on a budget plan, and it was a really fantastic time out there. The accommodation was clean and lovely, and the staff were very very friendly. The food was awesome, and this was just a perfect way to start out our vacation, before we then headed to Nairobi town and then to Mauritius.
I absolutely enjoyed the package by Wildebeest Safaris, and will recommend them to anyone looking to do a wildlife safari tour in Kenya.
