Simply put, it was the best African Safari!
5/5

We were a group of 14 lads from London who traveled to Kenya for the first time. We managed to find Noah and his company Wildebeest Safaris online after some intense research. From the first hello to the final goodbye, Noah and his team took great care of us all. We had 2 drivers for the Safari duration; Eustace and Noah's brother, Dennis. Both were amazing, knowledgeable, down to earth and chilled, and made our trip very easy and practical throughout. They had great knowledge about the Mara and where to find animals, and just in general, they were both genuine. Noah definitely takes into consideration everything you want or need from start to finish, he takes pride in making your trip tailored for you, and he is very approachable and easy to get in contact with should there be any issues (which there weren't). I will be returning at some point and will be booking again with Noah no doubt! We booked our safari about a month before we arrived, and I actually didn't know what to expect, but everything was perfectly fine and went smoothly. We managed to see pretty much every animal the Mara has to offer including Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelle, Topi's, Lions, Hippos, Leopards with cubs, Warthogs aka Pumba from The Lion King, and many more! Overall, I have traveled to many countries, but I have to say this has been my best experience and holiday till today. I would encourage everyone to visit Kenya and do a safari in Masai Mara through Wildebeest Safaris and Noah!

Wonderful safari!!!! Great experience
5/5

We have been on the 14-Days-Private-Safari in January 2018 with Wildebeest. The safari was from the beginning until the end an awesome experience. Noah, who organized our safari, always responded very quickly to our requests and everything on our two weeks trip worked perfectly. During the 14 days we enjoyed the company of three different drivers/guides in Kenya and Tanzania which were all brilliant and very knowledgeable. Their quality as animal spotters and their abundant knowledge of East African‘s wildlife was impressive. Thank you again, Andrew, Ayubu and Denis.
The lodges and tented camps we stayed in were wonderful and all of very high standard. To sum it up, Wildebeest Safari made our honeymoon-safari unforgettable and we can highly recommend the company. Whenever we have the urge to see elephants, cheetahs and lions again, Wildebeest Safari will be the company of our choice.

A great company to book with
5/5

Noah at Wildebeest Safaris was extremely professional and very nice. He was the only operator listen to my father and sister, they were planning the trip, and built a trip around our interests and not what the company wanted us to do. My father and sister spent almost 8 months with other operators who quoted the most expensive options only before they found Wildebeest. Noah helped them plan a unforgettable experience that was fantastic and fun. Our accommodations were great. Our guides very knowledgeable and took time to let us see and experience everything. I had no prior expectations since this was my first trip to Kenya and Tanzania and found this to be a wonderful, unexpected, brilliant trip. A shout out to our guides Max in Kenya and Homza in Tanzania who showed us the wonders of Africa.

We spent time while on safari with the driver and guide in one person who has impressed us with his knowledge about the place, widlife and by having nice and friendly personality. The service and facilities in the camp exceeded our expectations.

5/5

We made a 7 days Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara tour with Wildebeest Safaris. I had 5-6 experiences with other tours and I had some problems with all of them. But with Wildebeest Safaris we made a perfect tour without any problems. Noah is very experienced, easy to comminicate and honest person. They arrange all the things we want in a perfect order and made the changes we want easily. I recommend this honest and reliable tour company to everybody.

A 16 day tour of camps in Kenya and Tanzanea with daily drives with driver/guides not to be missed.
5/5

We set up our own safari with Wildebeest Safaris after trying 5 other safari companies and not being able to have the safari company provide us with the tour requested. Noah worked with us to provide the places, times and drives we wanted. his efforts resulted in a safari of complete satisfaction and experiences beyond our expectations. We had 2 driver/guides who were attentive to our requests and wants. there was never a moment we were in danger or without animal/bird contacts that disappointed us. The camps chosen were exceptional in comfort, safety, food quality, quantity and care by the staff. We would recommend Wildebeeste Safaris with great enthusiasm.

The communication with the manager was swift and relevant all the time. Our guide Dennis managed to track down more animals than we ever thought was possible. When i had a tooth issue, a plane, dentist appointment was arranged and executed within Hours. I can strongly recommend Wildebeest.

Great adventure at Masai Mara
4/5

We have been to Kenya, for a safari in Maasai Mara as a part of our honeymoon trip in February 2018. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect.

Wildebeest Safaris organised for us a package that included pick-up at our hotel in Nairobi, Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, a private driver/guide for 3 days, 2 Night in Savora Mara camp (full board service), drive back to Nairobi. The lodge was amazing, staff was friendly and food was fresh and abundant.

The drive from Nairobi to the camp is very long and the road very bumpy (it will give you as they call an African Massage) but the driver was really professional, friendly and very cultivated which help us to enjoy the trip. Also, you will start to see Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest... when you enter the Maasai Mara reserve which is a while before the park entrance which gets you in the mood. On our way back, the second driver mentioned to us that if we had a minivan we could drive faster to Nairobi which is worse knowing in advance.

We manage to do a game drive every day, and on our first day, we spotted a Black Rhino at 4km of our camp entrance, only after 5min the game started, which is extremely rare. Luck was definitely with us as we saw the big 5 and more even though that was not the hight season and we spent a very short amount of time in the park. Most of the animal we saw had babies with them which was really cute! The one we watch the most were the Elephants, which sometimes cross the road front of the cars, but we also got very close to Lions, Cheetah, Cub Hyenas, Leopard…. Our very skilled and humble guide was very attentive to our need & wish and he has been an extra mile to make our dream happen. Compare to others driver our guide respected the rules ( speed, distance to animal...) of the park for which we have a lot of respect and I hope that all guides were doing the same. With a bit of patience, it’s totally possible to respect the animal and still be in a very good spot to take a photo. I encourage everyone to be aware of those rules and ensure their driver respect them.

Our last day with Wildebeest was a proper adventure. Because of a miscommunication between Noah and his team, we understood that our guide has been being double booked. Therefore we had to change a bit our plan, we had to reorganise our the day which was a bit annoying because we were rushed to go back to the airport and we understood that lunch was actually not included in the package as we thought. We changed of the driver on the way, when we stop at a souvenir shop.

The second driver took us to Lake Naivasha on our way back to the airport, which was a nice surprise but an expensive and quite scary experience. We did a tour of the lake on a small wood boat at sunset, and our motor got stuck in a fish net. Even Though the incident was fixed after 10/15min when the lake is agitated, the night is falling and you know that if you swim in the wrong direction you will meet an upset hippo it’s pretty scary. Also, the timing was not really well thought and because of this stop, our driver was stress that we miss our plane and was rushing on the road which made us feel unsafe as the road in Kenya are dangerous and drivers reckless. We actually saw few accidents on the way. We recommend wildebeest team to be more upfront and clear about the consequences of the different options they give to their client so we can make a more informed decision and give them the opportunity to drive more wisely.

Overall we had a good experience with Wildebeest and we are happy to recommend them but make sure you understand all the consequences of your request as they will say yes to everything to not lose a client but you might regret some of your choices. A good idea is to avoid the pick-season during which drivers overwork, many accidents happen and you will probably end up queuing behind many cars before to be able to see the animals.
