Tanzania safari - Best safari experience in Africa
I am just back home after 7 days safari in Tanzania -16 to 22 August!!
We started our safari adventure many months before, preparing a great genuine experience for a group of 19 persons. Noah delivered a tailor-made safari tour for Tanzania, including Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongo, for all these destinations we got ones of the best accommodation lodges (Sopa, Serena, Simba).
The rangers / drivers picked us up from Kilimajaro airport at 1 a.m. and we started the great adventure throughout Tanzanian best savannah, just next day in the morning.
We’ve been very well introduced within the animal’s world; the drivers looked carefully for all type of animals we could find in each reservation. We saw hundreds of wildebeest, lots of elephants, cheetahs, leopard, hippos, hundreds of zebras and lots lots of lions. We also saw buffalo, many kinds of birds, including pelicans, flamingos, many families of baboons, blue monkey, etc. watching their daily routine. Besides these, I personally enjoyed giraffes, which we could spot them especially in Tarangire and Serengeti, but also, along side the road between different reservations.
Many lions we saw in Serengeti, much more than I ever expected, I just cant count them…
All these thousands of animal viewed in one of the best savannah landscapes, were absolutely delightful.
Drivers were very kind, polite and helpful; they were punctual every morning, having the jeeps kept in perfect state, the fridge in the car was constantly filled with still water, so that we could refresh ourselves anytime. They provided with various information about the wildlife (food, habits, hunting, reproducing, etc) and choose the best routes to find animals, nothing was too much for them to bring us the animals at our feet.
Most of the lunches we had were picnic lunch, some of the places chosen for this were charming, with nice view and having all basic facilities.
As I mentioned above, all lodges were perfectly located in the middle of savannah, having breathtaking views over the parks, crater or lake, depends on the location we were in. Very good service during accommodation, well appointed rooms, with all amenities, including self coffee & tea facilities, very spacious, with large outside terraces giving you the feeling you are in the middle of wilderness but, also, safely. They all have nice swimming pools and dinner entertainment with local dancers. Every evening we got to the lodges, I assisted the best sunsets I ever had (I love sunsets).
As a conclusion: games drive were excellent; our drivers / rangers – Hamza, Peter, Ayubu – were professional, attentive, communicative and knowledgeable; accommodation – Serena Lodge, Sopa Lodge and Simba Lodge – just perfect
Although I had a similar experience in Kenya in 2014, and South Africa in 2011, Tanzania safari din year was a great adventure, most of it because of good appointment and coordination of this tour for 19 people!!!
Thank you www.wildebeestsafaris.com!

Excellent!
I was during the month of August 2016 with a group of 19 people in Tanzania for 7 days and 5 in Zanzibar. In mainland we covered Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I am an experienced person in safari and traveller (visited > 85 countries), so I have the skills, experience and awarness to issue qualifications :) . The drivers we had (Hamza, Ayubu & Peter) were great! The cars were almost new, very well maintained and cleaned during the all period. The lodgies we choosed I knew already the brands from other countries where I did safari so I knew what to expect: but ... all was beyond expectations if I compare the brand Sopa, Simba and Serena with those from Kenya .. for instance.
Everything was delivered by Noah Kuti- one of the managers & owners from Widebeestdafaris Ltd as agreed. The drivers were flexible and it was not easy to deal with the 19 people at once - but everyone was happy in the end and they got home with life time memories.
I fully & with no refrain recommend Wildebeestsafaris for safari in Tanzania. Moreover, I saw that they do now business in Uganda and Ethiopia and for sure I will use them for other groups or to send people there.
Happy travel! :)

Excellent Support
Wildebeest Safaris has been very responsive & they can tailor made the program to our requirements. The guides in both Kenya & Tanzania are very friendly & experienced. They know where to go & look for the Big 5 & every other rare animals & birds in each of the parks. In Tanzania at Serengeti Park the guide was able to locate a Leopard from the stress calls of the Tapas Monkeys. We were very lucky to see the Wildebeest Migration, live kill by Cheetahs. I am very much satisfied on the service provided by them.

Amazing attention to detail and very responsive to all of my questions beforehand
It is hard to book a trip with an unknown company across the world (especially when there are so many to choose from!) Noah with Wildebeest made me feel comfortable, he was extremely responsive and personable. He provided me the driver's name and phone # in case I had any problems. Dennis was at the airport waiting for us with a sign with my name. From that moment on, we were their number one priority and that is all I could ever ask for.

Excellent. The tour was well organised. The tour guides were very informative, helpful and friendly.
The trip was an experience of a life time. Always wanted to visit Africa and see the big five!!!The service by wildebeest was excellent. It was a tailor made flexible trip according to our needs. All the tented accommodation was superb just what I wanted to experience. Only dark spot was the horrible roads to the masai mara and serengeti which was a night mare especially for medically unfit people. The tipping system was also very erratic and too frequent. The local cuisine was a treat. All in all highly recommended trip.
Very good places and extraordinary guide
* Communication, very good
* Service; very good and sensitive to our needs
* Expectations: very good
The only suggestion will be that the last day of the tour (28Th) there was anything interesting on the agenda, and the sense was as loosing one complete day.

Great experience on 10 day Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari
Just returned from our fifth safari (our son and daughter-in-law's first) and first with Wildebeest. Plusses: Noah at Wilderbeest did a great job in helping us plan, everything was as per itinerary, no unpleasant surprises, no nickel and diming, saw the big 5. Would absolutely recommend a private tour. Four of us (plus diver-guide Syedi) in our own landcruiser for a week, meant more flexibility to stay as long or as short each time we saw animals. This worked well as on two days it was so hot - and the amount of animals we saw so rich - that getting back to the lodge for a swim mid afternoon was perfect. Food and accommodation was good to breathtakingly superb. Have been on luxury safaris before and this was as good without all the added expense. (Only difference I noted was no exposure to game food on the menu, driving not flying to remote areas, and paying for drinks which were dirt cheap anyway). Paid a little extra to stay at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge - well worth it for the world stopping view over the caldera. Recommend visiting Olduvai Gorge in the Rift Valley (birthplace of homo sapiens). Adding Zanzibar at the end was really nice. This land safari was both very dusty and exhausting, so two days of pampered luxury at Ocean Paradise was perfect. Outstandingly, every place we stayed at left us wishing we could stay more, with the next place being even better (especially Buruge Tented Camp and Ocean Paradise). A good guide makes or breaks the safari. Our driver-guide for the safari, Syedi - was excellent, spoke good English, and with 6+ years' experience spotting game - was amazing spotting animals, including leopard, cheetah, and lion. Negatives: I insisted of staying at one site and I wish I had taken Noah's advice to upgrade elsewhere, as it led to two long days driving to where there were less animals. Recommend always answer ANY question about Africa with: "What would you recommend?" and not a preference (as they really do look out for you but culturally will defer to whatever you want). As a gay couple in a country where homosexuality is illegal, LGBT activism still in its infancy, and many staff Muslim, some places assumed we had to be brothers (so we were given twin beds - not a big deal for us after 16 years). To other gay couples - it felt safe and fine, but discretion is needed in a country where the laws against us are actively enforced. To disabled travelers - Bill injured his leg badly getting to the safari, and amazingly, either there were wheelchairs or staff just carried him anywhere he needed to go - no problem! Finally, to newbies, the anxious, and those considering this for a honeymoon: Go for it. The level of courtesy, quality, attention to detail, and care we received on this safari (and the other 4) far exceeds what you get in an American 5-star hotel. Tip: US$ worked well everywhere we went for tipping, souvenirs, etc. so no need to get lots of shillings and pay conversion fees. An amazing 15 out of 10 experience - so worth it.

Safari of Our lifetime
We were a party of eight and we had a great time. Our company was "Wildebeest Safari" and our contact was Noah Kuti. The tour guides/safary drivers were Kibit and Rony (in Kanya) and Peter (in tanzania). They were all wonderful. The key is to have outstanding guides who know how to spot wild animals and take the effort to show them to you. We were very luck to have excellent guides. The places we stayed were wonderful as well.

Organised and professional
I had a wonderful experience with Wildebeest Safaris to Kenya & Tanzania. Wonderful hotels and our guides, Ian, Ayouboo and Eustace were very knowledgeable, extremely courteous and full of humour. I asked Noah if he could organize a tour to South Africa, specifically the Garden Route, for us and this too was so well paced and planned and again what beautiful hotels. The only drawback, "The Road to Masai Mara" if one can even call it that! Can the authorities not do something to improve it. All in all, I would not hesitate to travel with Wildebeest Safaris again - Noah, Ian, Ayouboo & Eustace thank you once again for a wonderful holiday.
