My Safari in Kenya
My Safari to Kenya was Excellent from beginning to end. I was extremely anxious about this trip. The staff of Odyssey Tours allayed my fears. Then provided the most wonderful experience of my life. James our Tour Guide was knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. Our Game Drives were spectacular and fun!. I would not hesitate to recommend Odyssey Safaris, my tour guide James, and the staff. The Kenyan people made our stay an outstanding experience. Thank you again and again!

Amazing experience!
Far more than I every expected. From the Safari Park hotel to all the tent camps we stayed, they were all great. The locations and the service there were superior. They did the little things to make it special. Simon, our driver/guide was great. He went out of his way to make it special to us. Would definitely go on another safari with Odyssey!

Our Odyssey Safari went way beyond meeting our expectations for an amazing experience.
Everything truly ran like clockwork from first meeting our very knowledgeable and amiable guide, Mytaio (spelling?) upon landing in Kilimanjaro to our return flight to the US. We chose both lodge and tent accommodations and were never disappointed with the rooms, service or meals. Every location offered very pleasant surroundings and several can only be described as breathtaking. After a long day on safari, we especially enjoyed the swimming pools at a few of the lodges. We are very impressed with how Mark and his staff carefully organized our fairly complicated safari itinerary. Their efforts were especially appreciated as our safari was a much anticipated 30th wedding anniversary celebration.

Everyone was great. Lucy was good for helping us prepare. Mark took care if our hiccup quickly and smoothly. Simon was the best tour guide. The safari itself was unbelievable and the accommodations above expectations.

Awesome first time Safari
I have always dreamed of taking a safari and had decided that I wanted to go for my 50th birthday. What an awesome experience. It was the experience of a lifetime. Our Guide, Erustus, was amazing. He made the trip unforgettable. I would recommend Odyssey for your next trip. This was our first time out of the USA. I can't say that the week was uneventful - we had heavy rains and the windshield wipers would not work, flat tires, had to take a detour on the way back to Nairobi due to a wreck, took a few shortcuts along the way. Honestly it was these extra events that MADE the week memorable. Go with the flow and enjoy the week. t will be the best thing you ever did.

Everything lived up to and exceeded my expectations. Not knowing what to expect, everything was well described to me and all my silly questions answered before leaving. The safari itself was outstanding, well organized. The food and accommodation was great and we were well looked after by friendly, attentive staff. Our guide was phenomenal with tremendous knowledge about everything in the parks. He went out of his way to find all the animals on our wish list and he succeeded. His name is Yahya Juma. We were given every opportunity to take whatever pictures we wanted. This was a great time of year to go and we were lucky enough to see part of the wilde beast migration. I would not hesitate to recommend this safari to anyone interested in Africa - Tanzania particularly. It has so much to offer. Thank you for making my dream of visiting Africa come true and for making it so enjoyable.

Odyssey Safaris experience
This was an incredible trip from start to finish! Everything was wonderful! The places we stayed were terrific, food was great! In fact, we ate too much! The game drives were so exciting! We saw so many animals and got fabulous pictures. Everyone we came into contact with was extremely nice and welcoming. Our guide, Charles was absolutely fabulous!! He answered numerous questions about the animals and the African culture. He was always in a good mood and was such a joy to be around! This was the vacation of a lifetime! I had dreamed of what I hoped this trip would be like but it was even better!

The trip of a lifetime - so much more than I expected!
This trip turned out so well that I can hardly praise it enough! Pre-trip communication was good, and all my questions were answered promptly. The tour itself was wonderful, due in large part to our guide, Charles. Charles was knowledgable, friendly, and endlessly patient, and I highly recommend him. The hotels were comfortable, and the food was good. I hadn't expected to see quite so many animals - I expect Charles knew just where to find them! Some of the things which made it so enjoyable were just luck: we had a very congenial group, and the weather was beautiful. Still, if I go to Africa again, I will choose Odyssey, and will ask for Charles.

The most amazing time of my life.
The accomodations are equal to 4 star hotels. It is a the most wonderful experience a person can have. To be with these amazing animals in their natural habitat is beyond description. You can almost touch the lions and cheetahs. You are that close. Not to mention the zebras, elephants, giraffes ,rhinoceros ,water buffaloes and the list goes on and on. Our guide , Eurastus, was the most kind, dillegent and wonderful person. He made sure we had a wonderful time .There are no words to describe this experience ! You just have to go yourself to enjoy it.

Excellent value; wonderful trip
I had a wonderful experience with this trip. The travel was seamless, the staff helpful, the lodgings lovely, the food excellent, the wildlife terrific. You will be driving a great deal - some days upwards if 5-6 hrs. But I'm not sure how else you could see as much as we see; if you have back issues it could be problematic, but if you're ok with it and make sure to take care of yourself (stretch, etc.) you'll just love love love the experience. I'm very grateful.
