Incredible first trip to Africa
We stayed in Kenya 6 days in April 2022 and visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. RightChoice helped us with travel arrangements, resort bookings and provided us with a fantastic guide, Tom, who took us around the entire trip.
This was our first time on Safari and it was incredibly exciting. All three destinations were different and unique. We saw all the animals we wanted to see and more! Our safari was private and Tom was very willing to listen to our requests as well. Millicent, the girl I had always emailed with who handles the administration was always super quick and responsive and very sweet when we saw each other in person.
It was a truly unforgettable trip. Thank you to all the staff at RightChoice!

Ken was incredible, funny, and went above and beyond to give us the best trip possible
Overall experience with right choice safaris was amazing. We had to postpone our trip due to COVID 19 and this was not an issue for George he was super helpful in rescheduling.
From the transport to the accommodation to the food to the tour itself everything was great. Our tour guide was Ken and he made the trip the best for us. We got to see more than we expected and this was down to Ken constantly looking to find us what we wanted to see. He was very informative about the animals and the land as well as being really friendly and easy to get on with. We laughed from start to finish.

A very professional agency, safe, good safaris and hotels
It has been an incredible tour, seeing the animals on safari was something that we will never forget, the closeness with them and nature is something impressive. The hotels (camps) they managed were from another world, they were very nice, comfortable and safe, as was the food.
The contact with George from day 1 was excellent, he always answered me very quickly and very clearly on what they offered, the price is excellent compared to other options, the only thing I would do as a recommendation is that on the tour they offered me 1 day in Nairobi they had put me in my itinerary that we would visit the elephant orphanage and when we were there they told me that there was no place but it was because they did not reserve on time, but well it was not something serious but they should be careful with that.
Overall everything was excellent and I highly recommend it.
Another important thing was our guide Lawi, he was always looking out for us, he fulfilled all the requests we asked him for photos and he made a great effort to find all the animals, thank you very much Lawi greetings from Mexico.
thank you

Professional Service which lead to a memorable 6 day trip in Kenya!!!
Right Choice made our trip very easy to plan and customize it as per our requirement. It was a short trip and we wanted to cover Lake Naivasha & Nakuru along with Masaai Maara. The travel and stay arrangements were planned accordingly. The Hotels recommended and booked were the best and provided the right experience, including upgrading our stay to Mara Serena, providing best view of the Maara. The entire credit goes to George, who was exceptional in his communication (emails & Whatsapp) and provided us with all the required information. Our guide, Lawrence was very knowledgeable and made sure that we saw the Big 5 (17 lions & 3 leopards!!!) and most of all 3- Cheetahs (of the famous Tano Bora). He was available with us from picking us up from the airport to dropping us back. He also made sure we got some great photos and also time to observe these animals.
Would easily recommend Right Choice for a hassle free & well organized trip to Kenya.
Thank You! Right Choice for the memorable experience.
PS: Me and my wife are vegetarians and had no issues during our entire stay. Indian Vegetarian food was also available in the buffet. Just inform earlier while planning your trip.

Magical Experience
We spent 7 days on a safari with John. He and the experience were amazing I would absolutely recommend and love to go again. The van is better than the jeep as you generally don’t travel off-road, or anywhere the van can’t go. Be prepared for extreme tourist prices from the locals (e.g. $50 USD to take 2 people on a small walk, $70 USD for 2 people to attend a village for 45 mins) this is outside of the tour companies control, however something to be mindful of.

31st Anniversary
Mr. George O planned our 31st anniversary trip from day 1 till the end of our trip. This review is a continuation from a previous review titled "Hakuna Matata Made True" Our accommodations were excellent..Zebra Plains Mara Camp, Serena Hotels at Serengeti, Kibo Safari Camp in Amboseli and Ngorongoro Serena Lodge where we spent our anniversary night (3/9/22). Unbelievable and unforgettable views. And then, we thought that was it...but no. Our gorilla trekking lodge was Bakiga Lodge...an eco lodge ....a beautiful lodge with magnificent views of Bwindi Impenetrable NP.
Thank you Mr. George and to all our guides...Jacob, Chambusa, Patrick and Belinda

Hakuna Matata made true
From the time we asked for a price quote on the safari tour up to our final airport drop off to come home, Right Choice was by our side. It included assistance with visa and covid requirements to and from Tanzania, back to Kenya and to Uganda, and of course, Jacob our guide and driver through Masai Mara, Amboseli Park and airport arrivals and departures. Jacob kept us safe, on time, constantly informed and entertained and delivered the “big five” and more like he promised us on our first game drive. We enjoyed Zebra Plains Mara camp for an unforgettable glamping experience in the middle of game and the staff was super nice. Our stay at Kibo safari camp was also wonderful, having a view of Kilimanjaro.
Big thanks to George and his Nairobi staff also for successfully partnering with Raven Safari for our Tanzania tour of Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and Wild Rwanda Safari for our gorilla trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Jacob always said Hakuna Matata and it was true for our entire trip. We recommend Right Choice to our family and friends, and to all you out there!

Joshua made our trip perfect in every way.
Right Choice Safaris exceeded my expectations in every way. My lifelong dream was to go on Safari and see the variety of wildlife in Kenya. The trip was 10x better than I could have even imagined. I felt very safe and well taken care of. Every need was met along the way. We saw every animal we hoped to see and MORE! I will go back and I will book with this company again.
This is the trip of a lifetime. Make sure you choose a good Safari company. Right Choice and our driver Joshua made our trip perfect.

Met All Expectations and More
Wow, my wife and I just spent 14 wonderful days on photo safari in Kenya and Tanzania organized by Right Choice Tours and Safaris! From the very beginning planning stage 9 months prior the manager George was honest, prompt and thorough in all our dealings.
Our tour included Lake Navaisha, Lake Nakuru NP, Masai Mara NP in Kenya, then Serengeti NP, Tarangire NP, and Ngorongoro NP in Tanzania, before returning to Kenya’s Amboselli NP. We were picked up and dropped off at the Nairobi Airport by our Kenya Guide Mr. Opany. Our lodgings met our expectations and some even more so (ie Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, Farm of Dreams Lodge in Ngorongoro, and Kibo Camp in Amboselli).
Mr. Opany was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable, very personable (he seemed to know everyone in Kenya) and clearly enjoyed sharing info with us. He seemed to know where the animals would be and at what time. He even predicted that we would witness the 3 Cheetah brothers we were following on day one in Masai Mara make a kill the in the afternoon the next day, which is exactly what happened as they took down a 200 lb Topi.
As COVID was still an issue and required a 72 hour Negative COVID test prior to entering Tanzania from Kenya and again prior to our return to Kenya, George had arranged for testing in advance of us crossing the borders. Mr. Opany was with us through the exit from Kenya then handed us off to our Tanzania guide, Mr. Chambuso.
Again, Mr. Chambuso was an excellent guide which we spent six days with in Tanzania. He knew the parks like the back of his hand and was able to put us in position to witness and photograph the big five numerous times and other animals and birds all other times. We were super excited to see Leopards and lions in the trees and a family of Cheetahs take down a wildebeests. Chambuso was able to get us close enough to get perfect photos. Again our COVID testing was done seemlessly as we were driving from Ngorongoro to Tarangire. There was some concerns as our test results weren’t toon emailed to us until we were within one hour of the border crossing. mr Chambuso walked us through the Tanzania exit immigration desk and Kenya immigration then stayed with us until Mr Opany met us.
Those planning a similar safari should know the most roads in the parks and connecting areas are not paved, they can be very, very rough; muddy when wet; dusty when dry and with the open top some mud and dust makes it into the vehicle. Both Mr Opany and Mr Chambuso are excellent drivers who are familiar with the difficult driving conditions. Although the Land Cruisers we were assigned had age to them they were very serviceable.
In summary, Right Choice Tours and Safaris were the perfect choice for my wife and I. Comparing their prices to others we believe we received the best value for our money. We would not have changed a thing.
