Amazing Adventure
This was second tour with Safari Multiways, in the beginning I was apprehensive (whether second tour will be as amazing as first one), but all my worries subsided as I started the tour. I was travelling with family, the cost of the tour gave us value for money, the guide (Rasheed) made sure we see Big Five, wildebeest migration, and the best spots in all national parks (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire) for bird watching. The stay throughout the tour was comfortable, with exception of Robin Lodge in Central Serengeti, and Heritage Lodge in Arusha. The Robin lodge is relatively new, staff is inexperienced (don't trust Robin Lodge website). We got swayed by the website (despite Multiways telling us not to insist in staying there). Word of advise, trust the tour provider, they know facilities inside national parks better; whereas Heritage is an old establishment, bit far from the city, it is bed and breakfast, the rooms and facilities require renovation. The communications (during the planning phase) was quick and timely. Multiways helped us to plan the trip as per our preferences (we wanted to follow migration and they made it happen). The overall experience was amazing, make sure to ask for trip to coffee plantation and Materuni Waterfall and hot-spring. Would recommend Multiways, as we had the best safari experience with them.

A dream come true
From the start Romeo and the team were responsive to emails and very accommodating to the ideal itinerary I had in mind for my friend and I. I knew we wanted to make it all the way to the northern tip of the Serengeti and we wanted to hot air balloon ride there and that we would love at least 7 days looking for animals. And boy did Safari Multiwayz deliver! Upon arrival in Tanzania the process of meeting up with Romeo was smooth, he came and found us at our guest house, which is impressive service. I was more than prepared to have to go into their office (coming from Australian service industry standards). The team that was picked to take my friend and I out were nothing short of perfect. We became an instant family and had the best week together. JayJay, Dogo and Victor helped us learn swahili and made the drives between the national parks like a fun family roadtrip. In 7 days we went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro crater, 2 days in Serengeti with a hot air balloon ride and Lake Natron. We camped each night which was a great experience, you could hear hyenas and lions while you slept and woke up to antelope and water buffalo grazing. The team were like a well oiled machine setting up the campsite each night but we also pitched in as part of being a safari family and as part of the experience. The food was so yummy and nutritious as well. Dogo did a great job cooking at the campsite for breakfast and dinner and sending us off each day with lunch boxes. It's a great part of the experience to have meals as a whole team and get to know everyone and learn swahili. In terms of the safari and seeing animals, I had tears in my eyes for the whole week it was just so magical seeing the amount of animals we saw. We saw a great variety of species as well as huge numbers. We had a family of 17 elephants cross the road in front of the car! August is a great time to go to see the great migration in the Northern part of the Serengeti. I can highly recommend doing a hot air balloon ride. It is not a memory I will be forgetting anytime soon, breathtaking.
I would safari with SafariMultiwayz over and over again and will be telling anyone heading to Tanzania to message Romeo.

Great safari experience
We have booked one-week safari with Safari Multiways. We were a family of four( two small kids, 8 and 10yrs old). First, communication with Romeo was great, he was very patient and kind. He adapted the tour to our requests, he replied quickly and showed a lot of flexibility. He also booked us great accommodation. Then we were lucky to have Simba as our driver guide. He was an excellent driver ( very important when tou have small children and the road is difficult), knowledgeable and kind. We have spent a great week. Fully recommend Safari Multiways. Thank you for an amazing week!

Value for money but saw all the same animals as the big paying companies
We were a family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children aged 11, 12 & 14) who did a 10 day camping safari with Safari Multiways. We had the most amazing, life changing experience. Our personal chef cooked up the most fabulous meals with so much food that the whole family loved. Our drive went above and beyond to find the animals everyone had on their bucket list. Multiways offered great value for money. The bonus was that it is a locally run family company so all the money is going back into Tanzania.

Wonderful
Wonderful Safari throughout. Organisation with Romeo was very easy and the lodged were beautifully picked. Our guide for the 3 days, Mujidini was very knowledgable, with great english. He was so nice and incredibly patient with Eagle eyes for sure!
Only star that goes away is for the lunch boxes. We are both vegan and both lunch boxes were not vegan but vegetarian. We are paying a lot of Money to stay in those nice lodges, so at least make it work. Again here, our guide was very kind and offered us his vegan part of his lunch box. Thank you again

Satisfied with their services
Our group has 3 to 4 jeeps. The review is based on my experience. Overall services is good. The drivers are good. Their guides didn't explain much about places as compare to guides from other company that I saw. Daily start time should be more punctual. Daily packed meal can be improved, chicken is dry and plain.

Perfect!
We booked a 6-days safari with Multiways in June. Communication was easy, and Romeo had some good suggestions to tailor the safari to our wishes. We were so lucky to have Pius as our driver! He has a lot of knowledge, is a good spotter and is a nice guy (also not unimportant , because you share a jeep for some very long days). He made an effort to make it good days and tailored it well to our interests. We visited Arusha NP, Manyara, 2 days in the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire. All parks are different, and added something to our trip. Accommodations were amazing, we especially loved the overnight stays in the tent in the Serengeti.
We absolutely recommend Multiways Safari, and hope to come back some day!

Just book it!
I spent 2 weeks reaching out to and speaking with over a dozen safari providers. Romeo was by far the most responsive, honest and detailed. He welcomed us personally at Arusha airport and things went like a breeze from there on. Our driver cum guide Freddy as a bundle of energy and knowledge. We had many a long drive (some lasting up to 8 hours), but I never saw Freddy’s energy flag. We sighted 23 lions, saw a live kill just feet away from us and pretty much saw all the wildlife we wished to see (except cheetahs and rhinos!). The vehicle was clean and well stocked. There were absolutely no surprises in terms of extra charges or oversights. My strong advice is to avoid the other agencies (most are actually more expensive too) and go with Safari Multiways. You won’t regret it!
