I had an absolutely Amazing time!!
5/5

Ive used some High End Safari Companies in the past and in all honesty I've learned and seen more with Siku Jema. Very Professional yet we all shared laughs, conversations almost like a private tour. I also just returned from a second Safari this past June with Sikujema. I changed my itinerary slightly and they were very understanding and accommodating. I flew from U.S. solo... First time without my husband so of course I vas nervous... But I was greeted at the Airport with open arms. So anyone reading this rest assure you will have a memorable and amazing time!!!!

Best part of safari is the guide
5/5

I compared about 10 different safari operators and I picked Siku Njema because of Benson's willingness to work closely with me to plan a customized safari. Each time I sent a list of questions he carefully answered each one and this made me feel comfortable as we developed a plan. In addition to seeing Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West national parks, Benson added the following based on my personal interests: Masai Village, Kinondo village, primary school and sacred forrest, David Sheldwick elephant orphanage and drive through Mombasa. In addition to learning about the animals of East Africa, I wanted to learn about the people. I'm glad I chose a Kenyan guide who could translate Swahili and who could also engage deeply in conversation about our similarities and differences. Additionally, we lost our luggage and Bencon took us shopping to replace what we lost and worked every day toward recovering it for us. He just took care of us, whatever the need. I found this safari to be the most competitively priced while still staying in comfortable accommodations and I believe we got much more out of this experience than we would have if we had gone with a larger, more expensive tour operator. I added an extra person to the safari at the last minute and Benson was willing to make that happen at an extremely reasonable rate. It felt great to support someone who is self-made and had the courage to start his own small business. The smallness provided the flexibility we needed to truly make this experience our own. I can't imagine a safari without Benson leading the way.

Incredible safari adventure from Nairobi to Diani beach!
5/5

We were truly amazed by our 5 day safari with Siku Njema in Kenya with Benson Mwakugu and his colleague Joseph. Beginning in Nairobi, we travelled down through Amboseli , Tsavo West, Taita Hills and Tsavo East and finishing near Mombasa. Throughout our game drives we saw so many animals including elephants, lions, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, alligators, giraffes, wild boar, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, hyenas, lions and lots of different varieties of antelope and birds and so much more. There were so many great things about the safari it is impossible to know where to begin. During the drives, both Benson and Joseph were stunningly good at locating wildlife and telling us all about each animal, its territory, behaviour, and part in the ecosystem. We learned so much! Our itinerary was very well designed, providing just the right amount of time for exciting game drives whilst scheduling stops for lunch and dinner en route. All of the accommodation was simply incredible (all of the highest quality, all with comfortable beds, excellent buffets and great atmosphere - we just loved these places!). Prior to our trip we were given a preview and we thought it would be good but our expectations were greatly exceeded. We added in visits to the David Sheldrick elephant centres in Nairobi and Voi (requires advance booking), both of which were truly great. In all honesty we had no idea what to expect as we had never been to Africa before but we were thoroughly delighted. Many thanks to Siku Njema!
