Unforgettable School Safari Trip
We have just returned from a wonderful 11-day Safari in Kenya with Africa Celebrity Tours. We were a large school group of 26 people in total. The booking process went very smoothly, and the operations manager Muli was very patient and understanding about changes to numbers of people who were coming. He worked with us to design a detailed itinerary through Nairobi, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. He took into account special requirements we had as a school group, which was very helpful. Communication all through the booking process was fantastic and Muli usually replied within only a few hours despite the time difference.
On the ground in Kenya the wildlife beat our wildest expectations. The Drivers were very knowledgeable and skilful at spotting animals. Within our first three hours on Safari in Masai Mara we had already spotted the big five. They also pointed out birdlife and smaller animals, which the children were equally as interested in by the end of the trip. The food and facilities in the hotels were excellent. They were all in the heart of the national park so we could start spotting wildlife as soon as we left the gates.
An unexpected highlight was Hell’s Gate National Park. Our guide told the kids that the park was the inspiration for the pride lands in which the Lion King is set. We spent the morning on a cycling safari in which our guide pointed out Pride Rock. We then had a 2-hour hike through the gorge in which Mufasa dies in the film. There aren’t any lions or other large predators here in real life, which makes it possible to cycle and hike, and also explains why it attracts much fewer tourists than the other parks. However, the opportunity to cycle with giraffes, Zebras and Buffalo more than makes up for this, especially if you need a break from the vehicle for a while.
Another highlight was visiting a Masai School one morning in Amboseli. Our children enjoyed interacting and sharing gifts with the local children before playing a game of football. They were impressed with how keen and energetic the local children were despite having very basic facilities in the school.
Thanks for an unforgettable trip! I would not hesitate to use this company again in a few years time.

Excellent family trip!
From first contacting Muli to our guides Sami and Anthony dropping us off at our hotel this trip was exceptional in every way.
Communication with Muli was fast and easy. Sami and Anthony were knowledgeable and entertaining with lots of laughing during our three day trip.
The camp was amazing with friendly staff. The tents were clean and tidy.
I would highly recommend Africa Celebrity tours.

Unforgettable !
Africa Celebrity Tours & Travels agency is simply the best.
Joseph (the tour guide) knows a lot, has eyes in the back of his head, so sees a lot during the game drives.
I will definitely choose you again because you give nothing but the best.
Many thanks again to Joseph, for making this safari an unforgettable one!

Great first safari experience!
I got to Africa Celebrity Tours thanks to a friend and since the first moment Muli helped us organizing everything.
We did a private 3 day safari in the Masai Mara with minivan and the experience was fantastic. Muli -which was also our guide/driver- was always punctual and willing to tell us things about the animals and the park.
Unfortunately the antenna of the van broke on the way to the park, but Muli stayed in touch with the rangers by phone to be sure we wouldn't miss any animal.
The accommodation was also great, check Mara Engai Lodge out if you want a full Savannah experience.

Wonderful experience
We did a private 7D/6N safari (Masai Mara-Nakuru-Naivasha-Amboseli) with Africa Celebrity Tours and it was an amazing experience! We've sent inquiries to, like, 10+ companies but Muli was the only one who was so attentive. He was constantly in touch with us, always answered to all our questions, was offering different options and patiently changed our itinerary every time we changed our minds:)) He cares a lot about his clients and it was nice to see that he really wants us to enjoy our safari and tries to do his best to meet our expectations. That's why we choose Africa Celebrity Tours over other companies. And we really did the right thing. Our guide Nash was also very nice and professional. We enjoyed our trip a lot and if we return to Kenya we will do a safari with Africa Celebrity Tours one more time for sure!

Amazing Amboseli & Tsavo Safari Trip
We requested for a quote from 10+ companies for our Amboseli+Tsavo trip and Muli was very responsive and also friendly so we decided to go with Africa Celebrity Tours.
On the first day, Muli came to pick us up and told us that he will be our guide. He is very friendly as he is in his email. He always told us some funny stuffs about Kenya and taught us some Swahili. During the trip, Muli was not an aggressive driver so we went slowly and leisurely. When we saw any animal, he would stop for us to take some photos. He will ask us every time before he drives to make sure that it is safe to go. He respects animals very much so he always leaves some space between us and the animals which I like but if you wants to see an animal very close up, you may have to tell him explicitly.
Overall our trip was very relaxing and nice. We didn't see many animals as we did in Masai Mara (with different company) but the scenery was amazing here. We chose the van and I think it was perfect for our trip since we rarely went off-road in Tsavo, unlike Masai Mara. All the hotels were clean and the food were great. We also had no problem with mosquito there. The only bad thing about this trip is that there was no lunch on the last day and the traffic was very terrible so we arrived at airport at 4pm and we were so hungry. Another tip: Make sure you have enough Kenya chilling because the rating at the hotels were so bad. If we have a chance to go to Kenya again, we will definitely use Africa Celebrity.

Long Drive, but worth the amazing experience!!
My friend and I did a 3 day luxury Safari tour of the Masai Mara Park where I stayed at the Mara Engai lodge. I highly recommend this lodge!! The upside is that the accommodations are impeccable, the service is unmatched, and once you book, it’s full board (includes everything but alcoholic beverages). Our Africa Celebrity guide's name was Muli and he was great! He was really knowledgeable and in-tune when it came to the game drives. The downside to this experience was that it is very deep into the National Park, so its a superrrrrrr long drive from Nairobi (~8 hours). Also, lunch was not included on the way back to Nairobi. The cost of the 3 Day Safari tour was $1,160 for two people. Again, I HIGHLY recommend the Mara Engai Lodge; they also offer additional excursions like ATV bikes through the park, and hot air balloon rides. There are plenty of competing lodges, but none that I found to be quite as nice (with the exception of the Serena hotel) or with as much value for the price. I also opted for a tour of a Masai village at the end of my safari for an additional $30. If you do this, have cash to purchase jewelry made by the Masai people, and to donate to their local village. Overall, this was definitely a highlight of my time in Kenya.

Wonderful tour that saw the Big 5!
We overall had a wonderful safari with African Celebrity Tours. I contacted many tour guides but ultimately went with African Celebrity Tours due to their good reviews and they are KATO certified. The communication was timely and clear and they allowed me to customize one of their tours to fit in Amboseli in the same amount of time.
We did a private safari in a Jeep which si the way to go in my opinion. Our guide Joseph was wonderful - he had 20 years of experience and knew how to track the animals himself so we were often the first car to arrive at sightings. We went to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara and managed to see the Big 5 up close and also saw a cheetah, numerous hippos and lots of babies (because it was December).
For the price, this was an extremely good safari and I would definitely book with them again.
Great Experience!!!
Joseph was a phenomenal driver and took great care of us! It's been a great time, we were able to see the big 5 and much more! Highly recommended
