Very nice and helpful
Adam was our guide and he made sure we didnt lack of anything. He also gave us a lot of information and replied to our questions. I definitely recommend the experience with African Adventure and Adam!
Everything was well planned and organized and we always felt in good hands.
We had a great time on our trip to the Murchison Nationalpark. The communication beforehand was easy and quick which we appreciated alot since we booked last minute and still received a suitable itinerary for us. Our guide Adam was always on time, attentive and was able to answer all our questions. The accomodation was really nice and we felt comfortable. The tour itself was exactly what we were looking for. It was the right balance of relaxation and activities. We would highly recommend African Adventure Travellers!
Trip to the Equator
I was pleasantly surprised when I submitted a quote request at around midnight, not thinking it would be possible for a next day tour, and I received a message saying I could be picked up in the morning!
Adam arrived a few minutes early and we started on this adventure from Kampala to experience the equator.
He obviously loves his job and knows the route well. He answered all of my questions.
Arriving at the Equator, we started in a little shop/restaurant, then made our way across the street to see the water exhibit. We took a few pictures as well.
I was able to shop, then we returned to the restaurant which must be popular during the busy season, yet today there was no wait.
We headed back to Kampala, and went we got to the city, he chose a different route, showing me the kings palace, the straight road to parliament and the path only the king is allowed to take.
Highly recommend this tour company, and you would be lucky to have Adam as your guide.

One Of a Kind Spectacular Experience
Setting up this adventure took a fair bit of planning and Dr. Robert was there every step of the way while our itinerary was tweaked multiple times. He always listened and offered helpful suggestions. On the day of our arrival both Dr Robert and our guide, Augustine, were there to meet us at the airport at 2am to get us to the hotel. We couldn't have asked for a better guide than Augustine. He was knowledgeable and personable and not only led us on our journey but he quickly became one of the group himself. The accommodations were all clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff to make your stay more enjoyable. Upon our return to Entebbe, Dr Robert met us for dinner and even brought along one of the hotel owners to get first hand feedback of our travels and stay. A trip like this is truly a one of a kind adventure and I would highly recommend African Adventure Travellers to help guide you along the way. Oh and don't forget to ask for Augustine as your guide. I promise you won't be disappointed.

From beginning to end, everything was perfect!
After over a year of consultation and multiple adjustments, Robert and his team put together the PERFECT Safari Tour; Customized for us and to an impeccable standard.
From the time that our plane touched down in Entebbe until our return flight departed 2-1/2 weeks later, our every need was met: Full yet flexible schedule; Stunning accommodations in out-of-this-world locations; Gourmet 3- and 4-course meals at the lodges, and nutritious box lunches or breakfasts when the schedule demanded; Good quick laundry service; Prompt porter service; etc. Leaving us free to focus on what was important... admiring the spectacular scenery, and interacting with and observing the wildlife!
And, we had some of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences imaginable!! In Uganda, we were able to get much closer to the animals than we found in Tanzania. Our tour included the Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Ngamba Island, the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls (from above and below), Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale for Chimpanzee Habituation, the Ishasha sector for the Tree Climbing Lions, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for the Gorilla Habituation, and Lake Mburo National Park for the Zebras and Giraffes.
All being seniors, we chose to opt for the internal flights to replace a couple of the longer drives... Even though our Safari vehicle was comfortable and commodious, generally cleaned overnight, and Augustine is an uncommonly good driver. I should also note that he was extremely understanding and considerate of our various limitations and moods. For the air transfers, we took an easy 1-hr flight and Augustine picked us up at the other end, with our luggage. It was all very smoothly orchestrated. Then we added an unexpectedly interesting 2-day cultural tour of Kampala onto the end of our 2-week Safari.
We feel so very lucky to have chosen Robert to be our tour operator, and positively blessed that he assigned Augustine to be our driver/guide. It was well worth every penny, and we are now able to count both Robert and Augustine among our close friends. I would trust either with my life and won't hesitate to strongly recommend them.
NB
African Adventure Travellers also offers shorter tours and more economical ones; all with the same level of service and attention to detail, but with more modest accommodations or fewer destinations.

An Extremely Well-Planned and Executed Tour of Uganda
Great locations of accommodations. We were kept well-informed before and during all activities. Excellent driver/guide with good preparation of all park permits and primate habituations. Very good secondary guides where required.
We took the luxury option and it was worth every penny! Very good value.
Everyone was reliable, while still being flexible: able to take into consideration our energy and interest levels. Augustine was very understanding of our moods and limitations; all of us being in our 60's.
After meeting the animals in the wild over a period of two weeks, I will never look at a zoo the same way again.
We were able to come very close to the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Water Buffalo), as well as Hippos, Giraffes, Crocodiles, Zebra, Warthogs, Kob, Water Buck, Impalas, Thomson Gazelles, Baboons, Several other varieties of Monkey, and innumerable species of birds; not to mention GORILLAS and CHIMPANZEES.
After a cultural tour of Kampala with Augustine, we were delivered to the Entebbe Airport with enough memories to last a lifetime. We very strongly recommend Robert and his team at African Adventure Travellers for your next visit to Africa!
NOTES:
1) Robert has many more economical options available, with the same level of service from the team but more modest accommodations.
2) The Chimpanzee and Gorilla Tracking/Habituation are physically very demanding; particularly the Gorillas, due to the altitude - take a porter for each person (they are worth it!).
3) You need light hiking boots and gaiters for the Gorillas.

Another perfect Uganda Safari
This is our 4th safari with African Adventure travelers and they did not disappoint! The service was impeccable. We were a group of 8 people this year. They are flexible and able to accommodate our budget without sacrificing quality, even when we have last minute changes. The value was once again beyond what I expected. Dr. Robert is incredibly responsive, and his whole team is great to work with, which is why I will continue to use them for all my Uganda excursions in future. See you next year!

Amazing
We did a 7 days trip in Uganda with African Adventure Travellers and it was an amazing experience. In this time, we visited Kampala, did safari in Murchison Falls, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale, gorilla trekking in Bwindi and canoeing on the Lake Bunyonyi. We had great communication with Robert Mugabe for organizing the trip. Afterwards, the driver Patrick was fundamental for the success of the safari. I also have to quote the guide Huzaima for the excelent city tour in Kampala. Both were really friendly and helpful. I truly recommend their services!

Great man, nice soul
The tour was perfect. They picked us up in the hotel in Kampala and we started the tour stopping in the Equator. Nice pics and good lunch. After that, we went to Bwindi in a long road laughing and telling stories about the past. We figured out that you could avoid eating chickens, but you can eat the cousins LOL Augustine helped us all the time. We could see the gorillas and keep going to Ruanda. Full experience.

Amazing safari!
We are a Brazilian couple, seniors, and our dream was to go trekking in the mountain of the gorillas. We hired AAT in late 2019 for a tour of Uganda. But the pandemic came! I had already paid half of the trip and we were only able to do it in October 2021. Robert was extremely correct with us, kept his commitment even with so many difficulties that the covid brought. We stayed in exceptional hotels, we had a driver/guide (Patrick) exclusively with us, stopping to take pictures whenever we requested. The trip was unforgettable! We went to see gorillas and found that Uganda has so much more to see!! One of the best trips of our lives!! Congratulations to African Adventure Travelers.
