Great safari, perfect organization
5/5

We had a great 6 days safari tour. It was very well organised by Arunga expedition.
Thomas, our guide, was amazing. He spotted for us the big five and we had many opportunities to get very close too the wildlife. We strongly recommend Thomas.

Our 6 days safari took us across four of the national park near Arusha in the north-east of the country: Lake Manyara, the famous Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
We decided to go for a safari with a small group (4 tourists) and with tent lodging. It was an incredible adventure. Sleeping in tent may not be the most comfortable option but gives an incredible proximity with the animals. At night we were surrounded by noises, we could hear the zebras and hyenas close to camp.

Although travelling solo I felt I was travelling with friends ,such great guide!
5/5

I booked a 3 night 4 day safari to tarangire, serengeti and ngorongoro crater, significantly cheaper than my friends which went an month before with another group.Τhe guide Bernard was so helpful ,knowledgable , easy to speak to.. We weren't hurried at all wherever we wanted he would stop for us to photograph with patience always polite.. He managed to even find a rhino in a distance ..!! Although I was a solo traveller I had so much fun better than being with friends. Not to forget our cook goodluck which cooked up lovely and plentiful dinners for us !! Would definetely recommend.Ok some of the camps where very basic (Seronera) but that was my choice to reduce costs and every tent safari camps at the same campsites!.

An amazing time with a very experienced guide
5/5

Thomas, with 30 years of experience was an excellent guide who spots the big 5, even from afar. We have been very lucky to have him and also being able to see a coy leopard that took his time to get down from the tree. Freddy was a good cook and always with a smile, and also very organised in packing up when we moved sites. Thomas also shares his knowledge that of the parks and the animals at well timed intervals. We did Serengeti(2 days), Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. All with it’s own beauty. 2 days at the Serengeti was amazing and we were able to pace the game drives. Each drive explored different parts which gives us a taste of how different the terrains are.

We booked the tour via another agency for a mixture of budget camping and a basic lodge at the end. We enjoyed the flexibility it gave us especially on not being restricted to certain start dates and met lovely people, a core group of 5 of us.

The Ngorongoro Simba campsite was beautiful and well equipped (WiFi, electricity, spacious dining room and clean kitchens, and hot water showers) The Serengeti campsite was reliant on solar powered panels so it was a more rustic experience.

Very good return on price, cheap and as good as the others
5/5

I went for a 3 days Tarangyre, Ngorongoro & Manyara with Arusha Expedition & Safari

Everything was perfect, I slept in a wonderful Lodge with view on Lake Manyara 2 nights. I was almost alone, and I paid only 806 €. Other agency were asking arround 1,200 €.

So, very good bargain, I recommend.
