We are so happy to find Richard and his team by recommandations of friends from the giz. Me and my family had great times by going with world tours & safaris tanzania to Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park. The drivers have shown us more than we expected, the accommodations were perfect and the food was great. But more than that from the first time me and all my friends and family members who went with Richard we felt always welcome and like a part of a big family. Staying more than two years in Tanzania the times with world tours still remain some of the most exciting experiences. Many thanks for being very flexibel with the schedule and the destinations as well. I hope we are able to come back soon.

It was just about the best touring experience in our world-wide travel.
Our ten-day tour with Richard KilonzoPapa’s World Tours and Safaris – Tanzania was by far the most rewarding experience in our extensive tours around the world that we had previously travelled.
My wife and I and adult son enjoyed magnificent tours of the top national parks of Tanzania with a dedicated professional tour-guide driver who knew precisely where to go to encounter just about every animal that populated this vast region - especially the Serengeti and Ngoro-goro National Parks. At the lodge in Serengeti we enjoyed a night concert of Hyena songs that sounded like un-earthly groans that somehow lulled us to sleep.
As we travelled from one park lodge to another our driver once took a wrong turn that to our delight shortly led to a Masai village where the people spontaneously and warmly welcomed us.
Our driver was excellent in every way so that we always felt safe and secure. My wife’s photography produced many excellent memories, some of which we framed and hung to cover a wall. The various lodges were all delightful places in or very close the parks. The hospitality and cuisine was always superior.

Amazing. Unforgettable. Can't wait to do it again.
We went on a 5 day safari with eastern sun last month and it was an incredible experience. From start to finish, I can't speak highly enough of this company and their employees. Mercy made the booking process so easy for me and was always quick to reply to emails. She gave me different options for our safari and allowed me to pick the one that best suited our budget. Their rates were also very reasonable compared to other operators I contacted. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, Mercy was in contact with us and gave us a thorough briefing of our safari. Our guide Eddie was AMAZING and incredibly knowledgeable of the parks and their animals. He was very patient with all of our questions (and we asked him a lot!). Eastern sun made the journey so easy and pleasant for us and of course the safari itself was unbelievable. A complete, well organised, varieted three week group trip, incl. gorilla's!
Had the best time in Uganda! Nice Dutch group, Dutch tour guide, good organisation and a variation of interesting places to see. Wildlife, culture, nature and a combination of tented camps and more luxery lodges. Uganda is a stunning country that definitely deserves her name 'Pearl of Africa'!

Amazing Trip - So Glad We Booked with Makasa!
Our recent two week holiday in Tanzania was fabulous. Makasa did an excellent job of arranging our trip, with limited advance notice. Makasa took care of all accommodations, domestic flight bookings, local transport and guide. They were attentive to detail, helpful, and organised. Two of the lodges they chose for us are closely linked to charities associated with helping local children in the area, which made us feel much better about staying there. The guide provided was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He went out of his way for us and we would not have had nearly such a good trip without him. He was especially kind to our children. All of the parks included in our trip (Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara) were wonderful. We would definitely recommend using Makasa if you're thinking of visiting Tanzania!

Amazing!
we went for my husbands 50th (7 of us a a family - all over 18 years old). we flew into joburg and connected straight onto livingstone (we took the option of only a two hour connection - but it was not a problem)...we spent 4 wonderful nights at the royal livingstone hotel......whereby you can walk directly into the victoria falls park and see the falls at their closest. the hotel has zebra, monkeys and giraffe waling around.....amazing.
a river safari and a sunset cruise on the zambezi were both fun. some of us also took a microlight over the falls - stunning views. next stop was sabi sands - flying direct from livingstone into kruger. we stayed at lion sands river lodge...about a two hour drive from the airport...this was the most amazing lodge, the staff were very knowledgeable, you have the same butler for every meal and everything was perfect...we saw the big 5, plus more including wild dogs.......a most amazing time was had by us all and after 3 nights we were sorry to leave. we then flew from kruger to cape and spent 4 nights at he one and only.......to be honest it is not the best one and only we have stayed at, and maybe we should have taken advise and opted for the cape grace, but it was still very nice. in all the trip was a little short (totally our fault for trying to cram everything in - 6 flights in 12 days!!)....another 2/3 days would have been better in terms of relaxing.

Our great vacation to South-Afrika!!!
We had a great trip thanks to Tailor Made Safaris!
The itinerary was super and we had good guides / drivers. We have seen a lot of diversity in the country, both rich and poor parts. The night drive to see the animals was the most wonderful experience for us. We did not see all of the Big Five, but we did see a lot of other special things that we will remember, our guide never failed to spot the wildlife for us which was great. For us this was the first time in South Africa, but certainly not the last! Geert, Freya and Nicholas all ensured that we really had a truly great experience! Thank you very much for this unforgettable trip!!

A well organized vacation!
We recommend Tropical Vacations strongly to others while, from the start, they organize everything very well. When we decided to go on vacation to Kenia, we send an email to several organizations and Matthew of Tropical Vacations was one of the few who wrote back to us with a lot of payable suggestions.
Matthew is very professional and friendly!
