Family trip to Tanzania & Zanzibar
5/5

The start of our trip was less than ideal. Our initial flight from Heathrow to Nairobi was cancelled which meant we missed connecting flights to Dar Es Salaam and Selous. Rose was brilliant in helping us sort everything out and didn't seem to mind what time of day it was when we called! We felt she really cared that we had the best possible holiday. She did a great job recommending safari camps suitable for all ages of our family from age 10 upwards. Siwandu camp in Selous was fabulous, as was Jongomereo in Ruaha. In Zanzibar, hotel Baraza was perfect for chilling out and doing very little following a hectic safari schedule. We would not hesitate to recommend Rose and her team.

Took time to work with us
5/5

Vacay took a lot of time to work with us. They educated us on different options, and helped guide us to what we wanted when were sometimes unsure. They went above and beyond to set up our trip for us. They helped book all of the details with lodging, safari, and transportation, which took the hassle and stress out of it for us. We were so happy in the end with our safari and camp. The trip was perfect.

Family Vacation!
5/5

I had been in contact with Compass Odyssey since November of 2015, planning this family trip for June. Darren was great to work with, he listened to what we were looking for and made a lot of suggestions and the end result was an amazing itinerary that left everyone very happy. He was full of information and when we had last minute changes to the plans he was right there to help us and to make sure there were no issues. When we finally met at the airport in Cape Town, it was like meeting an old friend and he made a most excellent tour guide! The accommodations that he helped us choose were excellent and more than lived up to expectation. We felt well looked after the entire trip and knew that if we needed any help, it was only a phone call away.

Perfect time Uganda
5/5

We had a woulderful time in Uganda! Thank to Speke Uganda Holidays!
The trip and all the tours have been well organized. Our accomodations were much better than we had expected as well as the meals we could enjoy.
But much more importet to us ... Our sophisticated guide introduced us to the peple who live there. This was a deep and emotional experience. We never made it without him. He explained the culture and gave us some background information. So we had the chance to learn about this country not even from the troutist's perspective. And he has taken us to the highlights of Uganda's flora and fauna. Amazing!
All went well. At least we couldn't complain about the wether. So all went perfectly!

P.S. the trip was arranged in cooperation with Diamir (German travel agency)

I long dreamed of going on the perfect safari.. Kruger Park Tours made it come true.
5/5

My title above is no exaggeration, I had a perfect safari. Every aspect of my visit was perfect. From the help I received organizing my ideas and choosing the right safari for me, all the way to my ride back to Johannesburg from Kruger Park.

I was lost with too many Safari options and speaking to several booking agents. I quickly became aware that Kruger Park Tours was going above and beyond what the others were doing for me. They spent weeks emailing, suggesting and quoting me despite my indecision. In the end they narrowed it down to the perfect Safari for me. For those curious, I did 4 nights and 5 days in hut. I went on 5 safari drives, 2 safari walks, and a scenic tour of other areas outside the park. I saw the big 5 many times over, and then some. The guides are terrific!! they know their wildlife and they know how to find it. They answered all of our questions with enthusiasm and a smile. It was truly and amazing experience to be out there. Then back in the camp the wonderful treatment just continued. We were so informed, so well fed. I mean really well fed! The food was terrific, my favorite was Kudu. The chef was great and food preparation and service was top notch and completely unexpected. I had thought I might be roughing it just a little, but it was not the case. A special thanks to Sello, Jeremiah and Kevin and the rest of the gang for making my Safari the best experience of my life. And, of course to Rochelle at Kruger Park Tours who made it all happen for me. Thank you everyone.

Organised and professional
5/5

I had a wonderful experience with Wildebeest Safaris to Kenya & Tanzania. Wonderful hotels and our guides, Ian, Ayouboo and Eustace were very knowledgeable, extremely courteous and full of humour. I asked Noah if he could organize a tour to South Africa, specifically the Garden Route, for us and this too was so well paced and planned and again what beautiful hotels. The only drawback, "The Road to Masai Mara" if one can even call it that! Can the authorities not do something to improve it. All in all, I would not hesitate to travel with Wildebeest Safaris again - Noah, Ian, Ayouboo & Eustace thank you once again for a wonderful holiday.

do not book with this company !
1/5

We are a victim of African Circuit Safaris (Paul Muthangya). We booked a 5 day safari in Nov 2015. And paid a 50% deposit in Dec 2015.
On July 16 2016 we mailed some questions to Paul on the safari trip but since did not receive any reply. After the mail we tried mailing him again and calling him without success. We also checked if the 1st night hotel in Nairobi was booked and it was not booked. Later we heard from Jeffrey Howgate's case (see previous review) that the office of African Circuit Safaris does not exist (anymore?).
SafariBookings.com was helpfull but can not prevent this kind of fraud.

Uganda Tour
4/5

Very well organised. Hamid, our driver, was excellent. Very polite, well spoken, considerate and always on time. He tried to accomodate any small changes we wanted to make en-route and was very familiar with the roads, almost to last pothole. He seemed to have a very good rapport with other tour guides and with game reserve staff which made a big difference to our experience. The only slight problem we had was with the baggage. We probably had too much and some of it had to come in the interior seating area which made it a little crowded, but Hamid did everything he could to ensure our luggage was properly secured on the rood and protected with canvas and the rest was properly stored inside.
The itinerary was a little tight and we missed doing a couple of things which we would have liked to. Had Speke suggested a couple of extra days, we would have considered it.
Overall, would highly recommend Speke Uganda Holidays.
