Fantastic, excellent customer service. Organized exactly the trip we wanted!!
5/5

My wife and I wanted a very specific safari experience plus we left it late to book! Kathu Simon from African Welcome Safaris worked tirelessly to arrange our trip including all flights, transfers and accomadation. We had 3 wonderful days in Sabi Sand at the Simbambili Game Lodge which was excellent, great lodgings, excellent food, superb staff and the wildlife experience was awesome.
Overall Africa Welcome Safaris was Excellent

After trawling through Trip Advisor I found Mmilo Tours As it seems I found a Gem
5/5

After trawling through the recommendations on Trip Advisor I found Mmilo Tours
As it seems I found a diamond or gold nugget.. We had only 3 days to see some of the culture , history and wildlife of the area so Patrick set about arranging a tour for us.
It started as we arrived at the airport, he personally picked us up and took us to our hotel via a drive past Nelson Mandella's home and checked us in over a coffee. We were then whisked away to our first experience Lesedi. Here we would learn and experience all of the tribes of South Africa and their cultures, customs and dress in one place. A three hour experience that took us round all their villages, their history and dances.
The next morning at eight am we were picked up by an associate of Patrick's Willam who as it turned out was an expert guide whose knowledge of wild life saw no bounds. he drove us to Pilanesberg a Safari Park where we would stay overnight. We were checked into the lodge in the park and set of looking for animals in his comfortable four by four. The first hour or so moved slowly, we saw Antelope Gazelle Warthogs Zebra and Birds then bang life kicked into gear and we started to see what we came for Giraffes and big game. We lunched at the lodge then went spotting again. Willam found a pack of Lions who had made a kill and we sat watching them. All of a sudden out of the bush came the male strolling down the road past us like a king. We moved on to another area that Willam said he found a lot of activity suddenly we were confronted by a massive bull Elephant then a second chasing the first . Willam said they had been fighting each other for days. This guy stood across the road only some ten feet in front of us. We moved on seeing Both types of Rhino , a Secretary bird and Hippos, there was even a Crocodile and Turtle in the watering hole. We saw everything however there was always something that we would miss. Where were the Cheetah? nowhere to be found.
The next day was planned to be a visit to the Cradle of Humankind taking us back to the time when man was first discovered in Africa.
In the morning we set off at five thirty am with the lodge guide for four hours. We were expecting spectacular however it would appear that Willam had shown us all the spectacular there was . We arrived back at the lodge , had breakfast , as we finished Willam arrived. I mentioned the Cheetah, he retorted you want to see them? so we made another unscheduled trip into the reserve. There they were hiding in the bushes, this guy seemed so well informed , what a guide.
On our final visit to the Cradle of Humankind we were passed on to the guide who showed us around the caves where some of the earliest remains of humans were found. An interesting and short insight into our ancestors well worth seeing
In my opinion I think we stumbled on a tour operator and his associates who had an abundance of knowledge in their product, Willam has also sent us a compendium of photographs that he took which I can only say I will treasure .
If you are in their area of the world use them to show you the places worth seeing

Experienced Mt. Hanang, Tarangire, Mt. Meru and Serengeti - guided professionally and friendly
5/5

Benson put a lot of effort into planning the triop with us, adjusting for our requirements.

His friendly and knowledgeable guides, both for climbing and for safaries, gave us experiences of Tanzania that we will treasure the rest of out lives. Alle the people he involved were focused on making our trip enjoyable, from the porters and drivers, the cook and the guides. The hotels and tent camps used were also very nice with prefessional and nice staff.

Climbing Mt Hanang, and tenting alone at 3000 meters under the starts, looking out on the lights and fires on the plain far below us was unforgettable, and the sunriese at the peak was great.
Tarangire had a lot to offer, and we saw it all, including lions. elephants giraffes.....
Having climbed Kilimanjaro earlier, we were excited to look back on it from Meru at beautifuk sunrise. We had a gret climb, through Arusha national park with close encounters with giraffes and buffaloes.
Finally Serengiti was presented to us in the best way. Two lovely tent camps, and abundant wildlife, where the safari guide really knew where to go and what to show us.

Amazing Experience
5/5

The food, accommodation, service and game drives were more than we expected, as were the manager and staff. The booking was very efficiently handled by very friendly staff. Also, I can't say enough positive things about our guide. He is very knowledgeable about all the animals and very good at spotting animals in the distance and in the bush and at following tracks. I have already recommended this trip with your company to my friends :)

Our small group had a trip of our lives in Tanzania with a small excellent local company,East Africa Adventure Club . Our leader and guide ,Goodluck, lived up to his auspicious name . We were so impressed with his local knowledge of animals ,birds , botany and history (and he speaks 3 languages! Yes we did see the big 5-and so much more. There were so many highlights but our morning safari down into the Norangoro Crater was otherworldly-it felt like the garden of Eden !Our guides were efficient ,respectful of our wishes and fun -and good drivers which is a good thing on some roads . We finished up our delightful week visiting a school where our guide's children attended(some of us were retired educators). The trip engendered warm feelings for this magical continent, safe country and special guides .We have passed our recommendations on to friends and they have been equally delighted.

Great trip
5/5

This was a great trip . We had been on safari 2 times before and I think this was the best trip. The 2 parks were both very good and Zanzibar was relaxing afterwards. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and all the people we dealt with were helpful , committed and friendly.

knowlegeable Local operator
4/5

We googled for a safari operator in Northern Tanzania, and found bookings Tanzania safaris, sent our inquiry and got timely response. The owner, Wilbert Makunja, seemed to be sharp and full of knowledge; got our quote within hours for a short trip to the Serengeti. We had no knowledge of other interesting parks but when we received our quote it was nicely detailed -mentioned other parks that we hardly knew- Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro. Although our plan was to tour Serengeti (five days) and do a U-turn to Ireland, given reasonable price (if we got one!). Price was reasonable, we were amazed that we could do more within five days, We travelled as family (couple and a 12yr daughter). Very interesting trip, great welcome from the time we landed Kilimanjaro Airport, received by Wilbert and a driver, taken to our hotel.Tanzania is a great country, very smiling people! We enjoyed the wildlife (plentiful of it), Maasai tour, crater and our highlight- The Serengeti (the open zoo). Can't finish without mentioning our driver- Hakim, friendly and polite.

Great Trip to South Africa, this was an Experience i will never forget.
5/5

Great organization, we were picked up from the airport, our driver and guide "Jakob" became our friend and guide, who took care of everything and accompanied us for 11 days through South Africa. He went with us to a Soweto tour, went with us to the football station in Durban and looked for the lions in the Kruger National Park. I have always felt safe and well-guarded, thank you. At the end of the trip, the farewell was really difficult.
