The Migration was fantastic
Overall rating
5/5

People always told me something about how special the Serengeti Migration is and I just confirmed during my visit to the Serengeti. The park is very huge with low savanna grasses and lots of animals. During our visit I think it was a peak of the season of animals because there were so many tourists just like us in the park and everyone was busy with binoculars and cameras on the roofs of their cars capturing the moments. It was beautiful in deed. The scenery was also very good, weather was good but a bit hot during the afternoon. Food was amazing, of course we took packed lunch and the dinner in the lodge was always superb. Our visit was generally breathtaking.

We found Botswana an excellent country to visit as an independent traveller. We entered at Ngoma border crossing in the north. The custom staff were friendly and there was no visa charge, unlike Namibia and Zimbabwe. It was then possible to drive through Chobe National Park on the tarred road to Kasane and incorporate some game viewing on the way. We saw Elephant and Southern Ground Hornbills easily from this road. Roads generally in Botswana are excellent, with the main routes now tarred. It is possible to drive long distances, as a result. We travelled from Kasane to Francistown; Francistown to Gabarone and Gabarone to Kimberley in South Africa, in day trips with relative ease in a small two wheeled drive car. Four wheeled drive may be necessary, if you were intending to go to other game parks, particularly those of a sandy nature ( e.g. Kgalagadi and the Kalahari). This would be costly in car hire and petrol. It would probably be cheaper to fly to Maun, say from Johannesburg, and organise car hire from there.

We really enjoy the safari tour with Ilmaasai! good people and great guide.
Our guide was Godson, a very nice, smart and funny guy, he have a lot of knowledge about the animals, plants and the tribes in the area, and he was happy to explain us about everything.
The tour was very organized, good equipment, and they didn't miss anything.

Awesome..!
5/5

What a vacation... Safari Lifestyles provided us with 3 nights on the Livingstone side of Vic Falls right on the Zambezi. Then through Chobe for a couple of nights. On to Linyanti for amazing game viewing with hundreds and hundreds of buffalo. We nearly saw a kill when some lions jumped on the back of one of them.

We finished off with some nights in the delta which was just beautiful.

A really well organized trip.

Brilliant first safari impressions
Overall rating
5/5

Our safari at Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve was the first safari we took part in.
We saw three of the big five, namely the buffalos, the majestic elephants and a lot of white rhinos. Sadly we did not encouter any predators, but that is nature. The beautiful and hilly landscape more than a compensation for that.
Our tour began at 6 am, so we experienced the south african sunrise over the hills of the park. What a beautiful scenery, a breathtaking sight.
Our ranger, a guide from the UK, did a great job explaining the diversity of animals and flowers of this park to us and provided invaluable background information. After four informative hours later the safari ended. It has added many new experiences and enriched our lives.

A brilliant overland safari tour in southern Tanzania with Gecko Adventure
5/5

This was our first visit to Africa and our first experience of safari. We were delighted with every aspect of our contact with Gecko. They responded quickly to our inquiries, answered any questions and agreed a package that fulfilled all our requirements. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived at Dar Es Salaam airport to the point of departure. Bookings at each camp (we visited 5 over 19 days) ensured the requested vegetarian options for us (not always the case in our experience elsewhere), and the food was extremely good. We had opted to travel overland between camps to give us a chance to see something of the country and people. Our driver/guide, Said, was excellent, always smiling, anticipating needs and ensuring that the long journeys were as smooth as possible with breaks at appropriate places and ready to explain things we asked about as we travelled. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done efficiently and with a sense of humour. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and birds and quick to spot things and point them out, aware of how best to approach them and ready to explain different behaviours and interactions. The safari tour lived up to our expectations in every way and we have no hesitation in recommending Gecko Adventure.

Amazing
5/5

Just came back from Tanzania where i did a 6 days 5 nights safari. Everything was really good! We were on a tight budget so we choose to camp and it was the best thing we could do. The camping park in Serengueti is really in the middle of the animals, and it was amazing. Stanley, our guide, was a good spotter and showed us a lot of animals. And the cook, Soko4, as really good. We ate a lot!

Fantastic safari from Safari Lifestyles..
5/5

We have just returned from a beautiful mobile safari in the north of Botswana and wanted to say that we were very well treated by the staff from Safari Lifestyles.

We did not know what to expect and were very happy that they recommended an extended camping trip through Moremi, Savuti and Chobe.

We stayed in lovely and large tents in very remote areas and experienced wonderful wildlife sightings. We were a little nervous at first as we did not know what it would be like staying in a tent where animals were very close, but everything was really excellent.

We are very happy we booked this safari and would recommend Safari Lifestyles for their knowledge and experience.

Safari indimenticabile e spiagge da sogno
5/5

Organizzazione perfetta
