My 40th birthday in Tanzania, unforgettable experience
Going for the Tanzania Safari has been my dream for many years. I always wanted to make this trip memorable. We decided on my 40th birthday to celebrate in this beautiful country together with my wife.
We initially started to plan our September safari early this year. However, after Coronavirus hit the world, for once I thought I am not going to make my long-lasting dream to be true. Like other travelers around the world, we had to put our trip on hold. Reaching this August, we decided to continue re-planning our safari. Before the pandemic, we were in contact with Europe based Travel Agency who later advised us against traveling. We took the initiation of researching online for a Tanzania based company, then when we came across Sassabi.
So let me start by saying this company had no review, which got us nervous and worried but since we had less time in planning and doing research, we leaped and decided to go for it. This is simply because of the responsiveness from Hulda, who made our booking process very smooth. We only paid a small initial deposit to confirm our booking, the remaining balance we paid on arrival. This built trust and we never regret the decision to select them.
The most exciting part of our safari was Joseph, whom we were lucky enough to be our driver and guide. He is the best guide we could have ever asked. We nicknamed him "King of the jungle" simply because of his expertise and professionalism. There was no question he was not able to answer, we saw countless animals including all the Big 5 and for the first time we heard there are also the small five. Joseph took extreme care of us during our safari, the jeep was always neat, we had tasteful lunch throughout and he made sure my long safari dream came true. We now have a friend from Tanzania
The only thing we can recommend is, during the booking process, we wish Hulda specified the tipping amount for our driver guide as we only came to know that we were supposed to Tip Joseph $ 20 per couple per day on arrival in Tanzania. If we knew this before, we would have a separate budget for Joseph.
All in all, we had an experience of a lifetime. We will surely recommend Sassabi Expeditions.

Repeat customer, made happy again (this time in Rwanda)...
The team had organized a memorable trip to Uganda in the past. Back then, I selected them because of their impeccable track record here. So when I decided to go for Rwanda during the COVID-19 pandemic, they were my first choice again. They guided me expertly through the necessary evil of COVID bureaucracy.
The week spent in Rwanda was customized to my needs with an excellent selection of hotels and lodges. Obviously, the primates were the highlights - but also the Canopy Walk in Nyungwe was worth visiting. The guide Gavin was very knowledgeable and fun to be around with. His driving was always adequate. Rwanda itself left a great impression. I felt safe throughout the trip, both with respect to crime in general and COVID-19. Probably the safest country in Africa I've been to so far. Regarding COVID-19 - the country takes this pandemic very seriously - so be prepared for measures in this respect (requirement to wear a mask even in the rain forest, regular use of desinfectants, etc). I'll likely end up doing another trip to Uganda/Rwanda in the future - and I'd definitely contact Nicholas & team again to get their views..

Fantastic, well organized trip
We truly enjoyed our trip to the Masai Mara, organised by Fika Safaris. The communication was always promptly and detailed. Our wishes were carefully listened to and catered for. The car was extremely comfortable, knowledgeable and pleasant driver and a thoughtful welcome post card. The camp selected was fabulous. Great location and fantastic food. We managed to see a river crossing and lots of other wild life. Overall an unforgettable trip, thank you Fika Safaris!

Great travel Experience in Tanzania
We bwere referred to Features Africa by a friend who had travelle earlier with them. We contacted Karanja and he assisted us organise a safari in Tanzania. Our guide Danford was a great companion as we navigated the difficult terrain and we saw very many animals and beautiful Africa landscape. This is a holiday we will remember and was one of our best travel experiences. We hope to come back some dayand will definitely use Features Africa again.

Excellent Service
The tour was excellently coordinated and organized from pickups to the game drives in the Masai Mara national park to the drop offs. Everything was spectacular and I'd recommend anyone to choose Bonfire Adventures
