Out of all the companies offering guided safaris in South Africa I'm so glad we chose Wild Planet Safari.
From the minute Ryan picked us up from Jo'burg airport to when we were dropped off everything was taken care of and we were very well looked after - that made the trip for me as I am disabled with limited mobility and did need extra help, which was offered with no fuss and before I even asked for it. Somehow Ryan and Lungisani knew what I required. Being a private tour I didn't feel I was holding anyone up - apart from my travelling buddy! - and there was plenty of space in the van for my mobility scooter and wheelchair.
Every drive - and we did many on our 6 day tour - was full of fantastic wildlife. We saw the Big 5 and so much more. Ryan's passion for what he does so well is infectious, and his knowledge of the wildlife, and Africa, is incredible; couple that with his and Lungisani's spotting skills and it makes for an amazing experience.
Our bungalow accommodation was very comfortable, clean and spacious, and every meal they prepared was fresh, healthy and delicious. We didn't have to lift a finger.
I can't fault anything about our trip - including our communication with Thale which was efficient and prompt - and don't let a disability put you off going on safari - just make sure you book direct with Wild Planet Safari.

Excellent , very professional driver/guide was very knowledgeable.
The trip was planned really nicely. There was no error.Every little detail was planned properly.Drivers were polite and knowledgeable. New area properly, also very timely.They went out of there way to help. Great time in safari,saw all animals.. Accommodation very nice and clean. Food was fantastically exceptional.Over all extremely satisfied.Definately recommend to friends and family.

Shadow's of Africa did a great job of putting together a safari for my family. There were 5 of us including kids and we all had a wonderful time. Jake and Natasha knew exactly where we should go, where we should stay and which guide's to use we will use their service again for sure. Job well done!

Most amazing 2 days ever
From the arrangements, to the driver, to the food, to the accommodations, benson exceeded every expectation I could have had for a safari-and the experience & animals themselves-absolutely the best, breath taking, amazing look at Gods awesome creation!
An awesome experience of Tanzania's National parks and the Serengeti
From booking through to getting our final plane home I felt so looked after, no question was to much trouble. In fact the culture seemed to be the more you ask the more you get from the trip! Our guides we're fantastically knowledgeable and happily took note of our key interests making this trip feel very personal. Starting in Arusha Park and finishing in the Serengeti, each day we saw more and more and even though by mid week I was sure the amount of wildlife and vast, breathtaking landscapes couldn't get any better, they did. For me, not having seen anything like it before and it also being my first trip to Africa, I found myself on more than one occasion becoming overwhelmed by the absolute beauty of the country, mind boggling numbers and species of wildlife (I gave up keeping a list by day 2!) and the kind nature and accommodating guides. I can happily and wholeheartedly recommend this company and trip.

Amazing Kenya Safari Experience
The trip was everything we expected and more. As a photographer I wanted to experience the true nature of Kenya and Beacon looked after everything to make our experience truly unique. Robert booked all our hotels and organized the trips and accommodations, he also made great recommendations for us on the trip. Johnny our driver was awesome and he always got us to the animals fast so we got to spot lions, leopards and everything else almost daily. He knew the park roads well and accommodated our needs at all times. I would definitely recommend Beacon for anyone considering a Safari with a trusted company. Also consider flying into some of the parks as the roads can be very long and are rough, a short flight from Maasai Mara back to Nairobi was well worth the extra costs.
