In booking this adventure our first impression was dealing with Brenda. She was very accommodating and professional. She was in contact with us up until the day we left for the safari. All of our flights and ground transportation went like clockwork. Brenda made us feel like we had been friends forever. We were met by our two guides Kakasii and Noel. We left the airstrip and within 10 minutes we came upon mating lions. From that point on we saw so many animals and both guides provided us with an incredible amount of information on all wildlife and vegetation. After a full day of the safari we went to our camp. There we were met by a group of young men from the Maasai tribe that were so accommodating and helpful. They met our every need. Each night we had dinner with Kakasii and Noel and talked about the day. Kakasii and Noel made us feel so comfortable and they are both professionals in their field. In early December 2019 we booked a tour with Tailor Made Safaris based in St. Lucia. Before departure in March 2020, we had already received a lot of information about our trip. It has been a wonderful time where all the arrangements made in advance were arranged to perfection. We've been on several game drives, been on a boat to look at crocodiles and hippos, rode on horseback through the bush (very highly recommended, even if one has never been on horseback before). One of the highlights of our tour was a stay at Thanda Safari Lodge where Tailor Made Safaris arranged a special offer for us. This lodge was voted the most luxurious lodge in South Africa in 2013. It is in the middle of the bush with beautiful sleeping arrangements, a private swimming pool where elephants once came to drink during our stay, delicious food and drinks. Two game drives a day were also included, we encountered a lot of animals, including lion, cheetah and leopard. After that we unfortunately left when South Africa went in lockdown due to the corona virus. Cross the country!
My family was able to do the cross country tour with longway! Abu the owner was our guide and his positivity and knowledge was a true highlight of the trip. We really enjoyed the cross country travel as it got us away from the heavily trafficked areas to more

Travel to Tanzania is Amazing
Ndutu in Serengeti is a huge natural amphitheater where we experienced the marvel of wildebeest calving season in late February all courtesy of Snow Africa Adventures. We also visited the impressive Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara National Park that were also very exciting. We enjoyed breathtaking views of the crater down below as we hiked along Ngorongoro crater rim
Planning this trip was easy because Florent was readily available to answer our many questions and he also understood what we wanted. We wanted to combine game drives with hikes where possible and he created an itinerary that was just right

Ruaha and Selous Safari
We did 3 days in Selous followed by 3 days in Ruaha and without going into much detail it was an amazing experience. We took the camping option for a more intimate and authentic safari experience in the secluded parks away from the big crowds we have seen in the northern circuit. I am truly indebted to Ernest who did an amazing job of planning our trip. Nurdin our guide was the best, he made us feel special and took care of all our needs on the trip. Always had time to answer our questions and the best guy in spotting wildlife.
Food and accommodations were all better than we expected. The tents were clean and comfortable.
In short we had an outstanding holiday thanks to Wild Gaze Safaris
