Great experience
4/5

Just came back from a 3-day safari in Masai Mara with our friendly guide Anthony. It was an awesome time; saw lots of animals (no leopards or rhinos, though) and had a great experience. Robert was professional, quick to respond to changes in our itinerary and quick to respond to our inquiries. Anthony was friendly, always smiling and knowlegeable about the park, the animals and Kenya in general. Sad to see that so many animals seem to have disappeared compared to 20 yrs ago, but would definitely recommend safari to anyone, especially with Beacon. We stayed at the Sopa lodge, which was luxurious, had great food and drinks! Relaxing to come back to after a day of driving on rough terrain :)

Happy travels!! - fantastic safari experience through the Serengeti/Tarangire/Ngorongoro Crater
5/5

The entire experience, from start to finish, was incredible!! I'd recommend WS Safari without reservation. Of course you'll see all the amazing animals along the way but it really enhances the trip to have a wonderful guide along the way. Charles, our guide, was just that! He made the trip all the more memorable. Our cook, Freddie, did a lovely job as well! Communication with the tour operator was easy - Moses was reliable and always quick to respond. Next time I return, I'll certainly be using this company again and would definitely request the same guide!

Unforgettable
5/5

There was some disorganization regarding the 'add on'day but when I returned to America everything was taken care of by owner and all issues were resolved perfectly. I went to Kenya and Tanzania. This was the most incredible experience of my life. Aside from the hotel in Arusha, all accommodations were beyond expectations, food was incredible and each place provided new views, different themes and cultural experience. So impressed. Guides were amazing as well. Simon in Kenya went out of his way to make sure we had the best trip ever. He even spent a day driving us to places in Nairobi at our request when he could've just dropped us at the hotel and left us to figure out cab/transportation to giraffe Manor and elephant orphanage. Gofry out Tanzania guide was wonderful as well! Extremely knowledgable, friendly and funny!!! Took care of us so well. This was the trip of a lifetime. Price was very very fair and experience was one of a kind. Aside from confusion about last day, everything was perfect. Even so it was the best trip ever. Make sure to bring 2 dollar bills to tip hotel staff. We didn't and definitely overtipped because we didn't have change. Highly recommend! No need to spend 5000, this trip is amazing and affordable

Wonderful & wild trip thanks to the knowledge, coordination & quality care of Encompass Africa
5/5

I did a lot of research before deciding to book a photography tour through Encompass Africa. The tour was arranged in collaboration with photographer Pete Dobre and was designed to provide a broad overview of Namibia - without rushing. I wanted time to enjoy Namibia and was not disappointed.
Communications: The tour was clearly mapped out and even the finest details were outlined. I knew exactly what to expect. Encompass Africa has an office in South Africa as well as in Australia, which also provided back up support to the tour group.
Service: Prior to the trip, Encompass Africa were always available to follow up any inquiry. Throughout the tour, the service received was exceptional. The lodges, were brilliant, the staff always friendly and helpful - and the quality of the lodges...(you are not meant to rave about the accommodation, after all, that is not what you are there for - but, they were fantastic and the lodges reflected the local environment and culture promoting sustainability and eco-friendly.
After a long day out in the safari vehicle, it was very nice to come back to good food and a decent shower.
The tour/s:The local tour operators engaged by EA were also first class, whether it was the 4WD specialists or the safari team and guide, (who was a wealth of knowledge) and was dedicated to ensuring we got the best safari experience! We were never left wanting. Food was excellent at each stopover and special needs were catered for (I am gluten intolerant).
The safari tour was excellent, the agenda carefully planned with at least 2 nights at each stopover - alas, except for the last night - none of us were ready to leave! We spent 5 nights, 6 days roaming Etosha, 3 days in Sossuvlei including a balloon flight. We went 4WDing from Swakopmund and boating on Walvis Bay. Our days were filled with exceptional quality activities.
The trip was everything I could hope for, there are no negatives, none!

A very good safari
4/5

The safari was great. We got to see all the big 5 and many hunting scenes. Our tour safari Gerard spoke a good Italian and told us about the animals and the place while driving. What we really appreciated the most is that he told us not to feed the birds at the pic nic spot. That showed us that he was respectful of the nature and of the laws of the park.

Extremely reliable and professional, excellent service.
5/5

I dealt with a very helpful person called Chris, who provided a lot of useful information and guidance and organized the tour. Simon was our tour tour guide. He always was extremely reliable, showed up on time and did his very best to show us as many beautiful animals as possible. We saw lots of amazing animals and we got up really close to them, too. It was such a wonderful experience and we were delighted with the tour. I would highly recommend this company.

Mind-blowing experience provided by Natureway Safaris
5/5

Having traveled extensively, it becomes more and more difficult to still find the WOW-factor. I also didn't know what to expect when I boarded the plane from Hong Kong to meet my friend from NY in Zimbabwe for what turns out to be an unforgettable, mind blowing adventure.

First stop in Zimbabwe was Victoria Falls to run the marathon there and then we transferred in our own little jet (aka a 4-seater Cessna) to Mana Pools National Park. We were picked up from the airstrip by Natureway's guide Craig and team leader Elijah; the welcome committee at the camp was assisted by a young elephant bull nibbling on tree leaves.

We were blown away by the beauty of nature - the escarpment side by side with the grand Zambezi river, being home and playing ground for manifold and rich wildlife.

Natureway's team provided excellent and very personal, friendly and attentive service, topped by the extreme wealth of knowledge of our two guides Craig and Elijah about the fauna & flora at Mana Pools National Park. I loved every minute of canoeing down the river and being on the educative and exciting walking safaris.

Living in a hectic, fast paced and always connected city, the moments of pure silence on the river and the encounters with wildlife were providing the long missed feeling of being connected to Mother Earth and feeling grounded again.

Simply superb! One of the best holidays in a long time ... I will miss the nightly Hippo symphony, I will miss Mama Africa!

Thank you, Natureways Safari, for providing this experience and for having such a passionate and professional team! You more than exceeded expectations ....!! Keep up the good work.

They never sent me detailed info of my trip. I had to claim dinners and sunset safari :(
1/5

The Outlook Safaris made the transfers and there were always on time. We also stayed one night near the airpot. I like the accommodation and the food. The Hippo Hollow hotel was nice also and the Kurt Safari Co was great with good guides.
The only problem was Kruger Park Travel. We had to continually write asking for times of our trip because they never sent us detailed information. We also had to claim dinners, they are already paid and the hotel did not know it. They tried to give us a safari day instead of one morning and one afternoon . And it's not the same! in the heat of the day they are not animals.
We had to argue a lot with Kylie and got to give us a night safari on the last day ... but the information never came, we spend four days asking the guides and the staff if they knew what we had to do that day. I would never hire this agency.
